She was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful from the very beginning. She took the time to explain all the birthday packages in detail, answered every question I had, and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. You can truly tell she cares about helping customers and making sure they have the best experience possible. I also want to recognize Adriana, the manager, for being so kind, welcoming, and accommodating when I asked about reservations and party options. Both of them went above and beyond and provided outstanding customer service. It's rare to come across people who are genuinely this helpful and attentive. Its basically a kiddy casino. You could be a hardened gamer and the machines would never give you enough tokens to even have a yellow ball. The food is good. Yes, back in my day, I used to Love going to my local Chuck E. Cheese when I was a kid back in the 80's and 90's. Ahhhh the Good 'ol' days! Running around with my best friends, playing games (with real tokens), earning raffle tickets (actual paper tickets), and of course, the PIZZA!!!! As a kid, it was the IT Pizza! Of course, seeing Chuck E. Cheese come out for the birthday celebration and watching the famous animatronic show was a core memory of my youth. Like I said, The Good 'ol days! Fast forward to today, the future, the present, the now... And suddenly, I'm a Dad of 3 little girls and it's me taking them to birthday parties that they're now getting invited to. Walking in to a Chuck E. Cheese nearly 3 decades later and despite there being some nostalgic similarities... So much has changed!!! Load the amount you want to play onto a card? When you win, points get added to that card to redeem later?? Wait, what do you mean they took away the animatronic show??? This pizza doesn't taste the same! :( Yes, seeing the world as a kid and then expecting that same outcome as an adult are two different things. But hey, life has changed. Technology has advanced. I totally get it. But you know what? I suddenly realized... Those little insignificant things don't really matter. After seeing my kids smiles, hearing their laughter and watching them have the same energy that I had as a kid as I ran around Chuck E. Cheese like a crazy person is truly what it's all about. You see, as adults, we often forget what it's like to be a kid. To be able to see life through their lens. To not care so much about the things that don't really matter. This place is a total ripoff. We spent over $85 and the pizza was almost burnt, the salad stuff was not fresh and we got two glasses with ice. My 3 year old granddaughter wanted to jump for a few minutes and was kicked out because we didn't pay them another $18. What happened to this place being where a kid could be a kid. It's all about the money to whoever is the owner. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to spend a lot of money for basically nothing. The tickets are a joke. You might get 1-5 per game if you're older but Toddlers are really just touching the games with their cards and playing the game without winning anything. We celebrated my niece's 6th birthday today at Chuck E Cheese in Thousand Oaks, it was quite busy with kids running around having fun, but buy a card with a time limit and you use that card on all the arcade games to win tickets, when you redeem the cards for all your winning, after 2 hours, we were only able to get 717 tickets, the minimum number of tickets you need to have is around 1500 and up, anything below that means the prizes are small, but in the end, my niece had fun which was the important part. We ordered 2 pizza to share among 9 of us, and a birthday cake, the pizza was good, the people who works there came by to check up on our group to see if everything was ok every so often, they were friendly and professional, they kept the place clean. read more

We just had our daughter's birthday here today. I liked the convenience of having a birthday party indoors as it was raining and most everything is done for you and you don't need to bring food or decorations (unless you want to decorate more, then that's up to you). Our host Adrian did a great job and was on top of things. One thing I noticed is that there's no trash cans nearby so whenever I wanted to throw away trash it was kind of annoying to walk over to a big trash can that was collecting water from the leaking ceiling. The party went well but we had one no show. Each person was 34.99 and I was told before the party started (on the phone) that if I had two no-shows, we wouldn't have to pay for them. When it came time to pay the bill, they included all 10 people. I let them know that only nine came and they asked me to give back one of the wristbands that was not used. Unfortunately, during the course of the day that wristband got misplaced so because of that, I wasn't able to give it back to them, and they were not able to refund me for that extra person that did not come. This place is not a safe environment for your children. Do NOT take your family here. Lets start with this, we are local and have been to this Chuck E. Cheese with our two young children a dozen times. We have spent collectively over a thousand dollars on this mediocre pizza, but we have done so willingly because we wanted to give our children a safe place to play. After last night, that is a far cry from what this restaurant offers. First of all, Chuck E. Cheese has recently removed all of their physical play areas, only allowing your children to get more screen time by playing video games that are charged by the play. With other options in the area that allow kids actual physical activity, we were on the fence with Chuck E. Cheese anyways. Then they added a new Trampoline Area and we wanted to check it out. We arrived last night and spend over $130 on two pizza's, five drinks, cheesy bread and an hour of game time for three kids. That is more than it costs to take them all to Six Flags for the day. Not to mention, the employee behind the counter (Amelia) was off-putting and rude. Clearly incapable of interacting in a service type industry. I just ignored it and walked away, but on top of that grossly overpriced entrance fee, we had to wait over 45 minutes for the pizza to arrive. I had to walk back to the pizza pick-up window (because they cannot be bothered to walk the pizza out to you anymore) twice to check on our food. Both times I saw what looked like our cheesy bread sitting on the pick-up window just getting cold, but it had a different number attached to it. After I finally asked the THIRD employee to check on my order, they realized that "someone" had keyed in the wrong number and our food was actually ready, it had been just sitting and getting cold at the pick-up window. By now we asked for our food to go because we had spent the better part of an hour just waiting for the conveyor belt pizza to arrive. So as we packed up our belongings, my kids entered the Trampoline Zone for the last time (mind you, they had been in there multiple times throughout the day with no issue). Very quickly, the same Amelia who rudely took my order ran over to scold my children for not wearing the "sticky socks" that were required to use the trampoline. I walked over to her and told her my kids were in fact wearing the sticky socks she seemed so interested in and she pointed to a sign, looked me in the eyes with a smirk and said well they are not OUR sticky socks, they need to be purchased at the front desk. Mind you, at this point I have spent close to $150 on what cheap conveyor belt pizza. Now I am going to be Nickle and Dimed for some socks? So I pointed out to Amelia that the sign does NOT say I need to purchase the socks at the front desk, it just says the socks are required and they can be purchased here. Amelia, clearly upset that I wasn't going to bend the knee for Chuck E. Cheese, then barked back that we had to buy a wrist band at the front desk or I could talk to her manager... Now I inspected that sign, with Amelia present, and NO WHERE on the sign does it mention ANYTHING about an additional cost or wrist band being required, despite a dozen or so rules that are posted. NOTHING about anything like a ticket, waiver, signature or money required. So I have had about enough of this mousecapade and I tell Amelia that I am leaving and taking my family. I gather my kids and we walk away Amelia and the trampoline she guards so we could collect our belongings and leave, but Amelia was not done... She had to take that extra step of making a rude, off-color comment, to a guest and parent in front of their kids. Thank god another parent had the willingness to step in and tell her she needed to leave us alone. I also told her she can stop talking to me or my kids and she is being rude. Her response? An emotional explosion! She began a tirade of cuss words and F bombs directed at the parent who tried to help me, towards me and my children, then towards everyone in the restaurant. At the top of her lungs, it was "Fuc* you and Fuc* this job! I quit!". As she stormed off, did the management or any employee attempt to intervein? No... they allowed this unhinged attack on a father and his kids, on multiple families and underaged children without any one lifting a finger. I had to hurriedly get my family out of the restaurant because we just felt unsafe. The only thing we took from that evening that was a positive, we can spread the word so that people learn from our awful experience and hopefully keep someone else safe from the unstable employees that work there. Zero out of Ten. Do not even consider this place. read more

Never again. We booked this location specifically because of the bounce house / slides they installed. Bought socks for all our guests. At no time did anyone tell us they had deciding to stop including bounce house entry with party packages--it used to be included in regular entry. Yup. All it says when you reserve is "All inclusive." Then this sour troll named "Berlin" starts rounding up our party guest kids and kicking them out of the bouncy. Very embarrassing. Many of the kids at our party are too young for arcades which is why we chose this place over the multiple other bounce options in the area such as kids world and Skyzone.Meanwhile a good third of the games here including all skiball machines are broken. They did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation and corporate claims to do nothing. Corporate told me to ask the manager "Steve" to handle the situation but when I asked for Steve they said he'd come over and guess what--no Steve ever showed up! Our pizza was late getting to the table so people we still barely on cake when the party ended and the shooed us out fast for the next party. They no longer even put pitchers on the table anymore. The "personal" birthday song from chucky is now an all-birthdays-in-the-place combined song. No "personal party host" to be found--always had to go wait in the general line for issues like where in the world is our food? They came and told me about 5 times at the end of the party that I needed to come pay now even though they'd also ordered me to get our stuff out fast for the next party and I needed to distribute party favor bags to departing guests at the same time. And the whole place smells like pee, which would be forgiveable if they were just nice...the way it used to be. Avoid this location at any cost. Total cash grab run by teenagers who don't care if they ruin a kids birthday. Shame on them. read more

This is the nicest Chuck E. Cheese location that I have been to for these reasons: 1) More consistent supervision at door, monitoring the entrance and exit. This is a big part of this chain security and at other locations, I have observed lots of time periods without anyone there. I purposely chose a table by the door so I could monitor this yesterday, and I estimate that there was an employee there 90% of the time during the 2.5 hours I was there 2) Chuck E. Cheese made regularly scheduled appearances throughout the restaurant. Again, I have rarely seen this at other locations. 3) Employees seemed very diligent about monitoring the kids well-being. I saw a couple of employees "Rounding" on a regular basis 4) The Pizza was better Everything else about our visit was a typical Chuck E Cheese experience. They have "Bands" now in addition to the cards that customers load money on to. We had a great time there with our grandkids! read more

Let's start with the good. The place was clean and tidy with good service. We waiting a long time at the ticket redemption but that was more because of the people in front us taking a long time. However, as we waited other employees came over and apologized for the wait. Food was good and the Birthday package seemed excellent for kids. Now what hurts this location is it's selection of "working" games. The fun ones were not working Luigi, Simpsons Soccer and a couple others. It didn't really effect us as we were with a party designed for the young ones. But if you plan to spend 2 hours here you might find yourself a little bored. read more

Pizza passes the basic tests; stretchy cheese crispy crust with a solid of that garlic butter. Feeling nostalgic, I wanted take my toddlers somewhere fun on a windy cold day. I have been hesitant to take them to places like this due to Covid, but we went during the week, and there were very few families. The staff were masked and the facilities were really clean. Gone are the days of ball pits and the games I remember, but they have several token operated games to play. The pizza was better than I remembered. It is not the world's best pizza, but pretty good! They offer an unlimited salad bar option with lots of fresh vegetable options. For $30 my two and one year old were able to play for about 1.5 hours with some tokens leftover for next time. I was surprised how far the tokens went on the toddler rides, most games and rides were 1 or 2 tokens. We enjoyed the pizza, salad and I also purchased a refillable kids cup for our next visit. If you are looking for an indoor not packed place to take your littles, I would recommend. read more

Went here on Tuesday to keep my 3 1/2 year old entertained as we got stuck in Thousand Oaks driving home in the storm. We went to Dave and Busters the day before but this was much more age appropriate. I loved that they give your child and you matching stamps to make sure that the child only leaves with an appropriate adult. Food was arcade food but it did the trick. I got a glass of wine. Plenty of arcade games and kiddy rides. The mouse came out once. We did unlimited games for 90 min and felt it was a great deal. The best part was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and kind. They even helped my daughter win a ball when she had been relentlessly trying to win for 30min. This was a great safe haven for us from the storm. read more

I attended a birthday party today at Chuck E. Cheese and the host. Berlin was amazing. She brought us the pizza and the dip and dots and kept checking if our party was okay. Then I noticed she was also doing the prizes but then when someone went to leave, she ran around the entire counter to go check the family stamps as they were leaving. This happened multiple times while she had a huge line for prizes. She did such an amazing job with everything I saw her do at one point she even asked for someone to come help her do the register as she was checking the door and doing the prizes. There were two other ladies there not sure what they were doing to me it seems like Berlin was running the entire place alone. Shout out to Berlin for being on it. We were sitting at a regular table, but in the birthday area they had a large birthday party going on and it actually looked like a lot of fun. The employees were engaged with the guests and it looked like they were were doing some fun type of activity or something. Now, my kids are asking to have their birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. We were so disappointed in the food... the quality was sub par for Chuck E Cheese standards, the worst pizza and salad bar I've ever had at chuck e cheese for sure. Also I know inflation but it was soo expensive for us to have a dinner and game night with my brother, husband and two young kids. We got the large pizza, wings, and two drink combo and added 3 salad bars and 2 beers plus 90 minutes of play, which ended up being $150 We did have fun and the games were fun too, but Chuck E. Cheese used to be a fun casual place to go for dinner and play as well as a place where you can have an easy kids party with their friends, but I can't imagine spending the money on that now, I don't think it's worth ot unfortunately. If you know what you're getting into then it's a great time. Steve is the new manager here and he really cares. I appreciate Steve! I think he's training a new team and this bunch at least seems friendly and happy to be at work. Sometimes their are staffing issues (ex no one at the prize counter or 1 person behind the prize counter for 12 kids vs 4 behind the cashier and 1 guest group). They did accommodate some game issues. They have a minutes vS points system and the old Chuck E. Cheese coins are gone so everything goes on the card which is reloadable and also keeps track of your tickets earned. They charge for a new card so def keep yours somewhere you remember it for next time. They have completely change the look of Chuck E. Cheese. the character and his friends. Chuck e looks like he lost about 50 pounds. He also doesn't come out and dance with the kids or give free tickets anymore - you're lucky to get a high five. Weekends are pretty busy with lots of parties going on. As long as you know that it's quite a Mayham in there, and very loud, flashing lights, kids running to and from, then you won't be shocked. They do have some limited gluten-free options and a salad bar. If there is a large party, your order might be slow, so the salad bar would be a smart way to go. The parking lot can be a bit shady at times also. A few times ago we had an encounter with a homeless person that kept coming into Chuck E. Cheese and yelling at everyone. Unfortunately, our police department can't do anything and Chuck E. Cheese is use to dealing with this but parents and small children are not. read more

Five stars for an early 9am Sunday morning birthday party! At first the thought of having a party so early for my 7 year old daughter with special needs was absurd but it worked out wonderfully! We had the place to ourselves until 11am, our group and three employees. For children with special needs this is an excellent way to have them experience Chuck E. Cheese. The party attendant was pleasant, she took her time with us and was really great. Unlimited play of all games for each child attending. We came for our nephews birthday party and had a couple of tables reserved. The kids had a ton of fun with the all you can play passes and the food is what you would expect. Pretty basic pizzas and salads. Everything in there was sticky though and just needs to get wiped down a little bit more often. EXCELLENT STAFF - Came here for my kids school's fundraiser. Haven't been to CEC in years, was not expecting much. Was pleasantly surprised with just about everything. It was pretty clean, rides and games were all functional and working (no "out of order" signs), and there was a ton of fun games for everyone. What stood out was all the staff and the excellent customer service. I'm sure it's not easy dealing with loud hyped up little kids running around, and also their parents, but every one of the staff we interacted were absolutely great. Without exception, they were patient, friendly, and helpful. From the person who delivered the pizza, to the cashier at the food line, and the prize line, everyone was absolutely kind and helpful. Hendrick and Ari were only 2 names I caught, but everyone there deserves kudos. read more
