I went to Chuck E Cheese in Boynton Beach in the 4th quarter of last year 2025. Probably October or November. I agreed to pay approximately $6.99 per month. A customer let me know this plan would probably meet my needs. My child is (my mom} 90 years old and she just doesn't want to visit. The nice employees told me that I could call up corporate in 2 or 3 months and cancel if need be. As of February 18th, I have not been back. I called corporate headquarters to cancel and was told in very firm words that I had checked a box and signed a 12-month contract with them. They would not let me get out of it. Until 12 months have expired. To quote John Morgan from the largest personal Injury attorney firm in America. The only thing corporate America cares about is MONEY. Not relationships, kindness or even common sense. I guess when I visit Chuck E Cheese I should bring my attorney along and pay his hourly fee to make sure that I am safe. My only desire was to stop the monthly charge because in my case no services were rendered after my initial visit. So, this means as low as $63 or $70 remaining. It wasn't my idea to have to write this letter. This is the hill they want to fight for and die on. The callous, selfish and mean-spirited nature of this companies' policies left me no other choice but to bring this to your attention. I want to encourage you, the consumer who are reading this, to spend your money elsewhere. I have reviews with over 30,000 views in a year. If only 100 people with a lifetime spending of $100 see this and choose the competition, we can make a difference. Human beings matter. On February 13, 2026, I attended the VIP Member event at the Chuck E. Cheese location on Biscayne Blvd in Aventura with my daughter and niece. My daughter is a Type 1 diabetic. She carries a medical bag containing her life-sustaining insulin and emergency supplies at all times. At closing, after playing the Jurassic Park game, I accidentally left her medical bag on top of the machine. I realized shortly after leaving and immediately called the store around 9:45 PM. I provided a detailed description and exact location. I was told the area had been checked and nothing was found. When I drove back to the store, I could clearly see through the window that the bag was still sitting on top of the game in plain view. Two employees were outside. I explained this was a medical emergency involving a child's insulin. I was told all managers had left. Manager Silvia had reportedly left approximately 10 minutes prior. When contacted, she refused to return because the store was closed and she was "already home" -- despite being informed that a diabetic child's insulin was locked inside. When I stated I would contact police due to the seriousness of the situation, I was dismissively told to "go ahead." Another manager, Katie, was supposedly coming to open the store. She never arrived. Calls and text messages to manager Paula were read but ignored. We remained outside for over two hours attempting to retrieve life-sustaining medication. Police were contacted but could not intervene because the business was closed. The following morning, when I returned, the bag was exactly where it had been the night before -- untouched. This confirms the facility was not properly checked at closing and raises concerns about cleaning and sanitization procedures. What is most alarming is how this was handled the next morning. After explaining the full situation, General Manager Carlos stated no action would be taken against his management team and simply provided the Guest Relations email, advising that if I felt it should be escalated, that was my right. This was not about a forgotten purse. This was insulin for a diabetic child. When a business markets itself as family-friendly, there is an expectation of reasonable care and urgency when a medical situation arises. The lack of compassion, accountability, and leadership demonstrated at this location is deeply concerning. I am sharing this publicly because parents deserve transparency about how a medical emergency was handled. No parent should ever be forced to stand outside a locked building begging for access to their child's life-sustaining medication. Insulin is not optional. The refusal to act was a choice. It was my first time being there since the early 2010s for a friend who had her son's birthday party, and the experience was so much better AND CLEANER! My daughter has been begging to go for her birthday because she sees the commercials daily so it was an easy yes since it would require less preparation from me. Eileen our hostess with the mostess was attentive, friendly and accommodating. They have changed the layout of this location and they removed the ball pit (thank God) and it is all video and interactive games for all ages. There aren't anymore tokens because they use a card that you can swipe for the games. They still have my favorite game, skee ball (old school girlie over here lol) but at the time, not all of the lanes were working. I'm a big kid but eventually I had to share and let the other kids play lol. I moved on to the basketball hoops and the nostalgia was creeping in. The stage that they used to have with all the characters is no more and they have a big LED screen. Chuck E. is the only one that comes out and you can tell they take good care of the suit. Wasn't super gross or weird looking. Most of the kids were excited to see him and none ran away like we used to, lol. If you're doing a birthday party you're allowed to bring cupcakes and some decorations. They do provide plates, cups are included in the package with two slices of their absolutely amazing pizza and they'll also put a table cloth. I brought my own decor but if you're not really trying to do all that, you'll be covered. I had about 21 kids and my total came out to 500 and change. Btw, hey do require a 50 dollar deposit at booking and you can do that online. You're allowed to change the amount of people that show up, but right as you arrive. So if you're estimate is over, you will be paying for the no-shows. Pro tip, if you're unsure round off to a lesser amount and then you can add later. Please also note that the package is only for kids. You have to add pizzas and drinks for the adults attending which will add to your tab. Lastly, I had a great time. I was going back and forth between doing it at a park or here. But this was more affordable, less stress and my daughter had the best day ever. Took my son here on a Friday night and it wasn't as busy as I predicted. That being said there was wayyyy too much garbage on the floor and I saw plenty of employees hanging around and on their phones (a lot of younger people working). I know it's half on customers for leaving all their garbage around where ever they like but I saw messes that were there when I walked in still there an hour later when I was leaving. Definitely something they need to get on top of. There was also multiple games not working for technical reasons and even the skee ball games down due to user error. You could tell someone came and got all the balls from every lane and put it into 1 lane leaving the rest unplayable. Would be a super easy fix if there was a game attendant walking around (my son had to climb up the lane and grab from inside just to get other lane to work). The plus sides to this visit were the new trampoline they put it, my son had a blast and there are rules to it (need specific socks and only to certain height) and when kids were getting in with shoes the worker quickly fixed the situation which is appreciated I didn't want my son to get stepped on. And also the toddler area had a lot of moving vehicles and games so my son enjoy along with big area of games for older kids so I would say great for all ages. I particularly love this location as well as the one in Pembroke Pines. I just discovered that this one has the Trampoline now which is so cool and so fun for the kiddos! There are rules to the trampoline and it's not free. I learned after already getting my kids shoes off and allowing them to jump that each child will be $10. Honestly this is a fine price but I just wasn't that interested considering my kids are much too young (ages 3) to actually fully enjoy it. Located in the heart of Aventura among many restaurants and shops this is ideal as there isn't one within miles. I like the location and the space. It's not as crowded as the Hialeah location because not a lot of people come here. But service and game wise this location sucks. I've been here a few times and the games are either not working or out of tickets. They only have 1 employee who is able to fix the machines so the poor guy runs from machine to machine all day long. Not to mention he is also Chuck E. Cheese in disguise for the parties so when he's not on the floor fixing the machines he's working the parties. I see many staff members walking around but when you ask for help they all direct you to this poor man. Waited about 20 mins to collect the prizes because they're so short staffed and poorly managed so no one knew who was stationed where. I just want to say, this place has been here for a very long time. I actually had my own 10-year-old birthday party here. It used to be very dingy and had broken down machines however they recently renovated. I cannot express how amazing it felt to go into that Chuck E. Cheese. I peeked into the kitchen as well and it was extremely clean. All of the games were working, the floors were clean and vacuumed. There were no strange smells. The kids were running around in a very spacious area. I feel like they did very well. I truly hope they can maintain it. I am very big on customer service and my recent experience proved that the employees are top notch. The manager went to bring something for me and an employee came over to reassure me that they manager is on her way back to me. I love when employees are aware of their customers and surroundings - and check in with customers. I've told many people about the cleanliness and the amazing experience we had here. I enjoyed my visit to Chuck E Cheese mostly because my grandson had a blast. This place has everything a kid could want under one roof. Pizza, an animated show, games, rides, ice cream, cotton candy, skeeball ..the list goes on and on. The dining area is where the stage is located and also where Birthday parties are hosted. You purchase a card by choosing a value in points or minutes which allows you to play everything in the building. If you purchase a pizza meal, you receive s discount. I went on Saturday and expected a crowd. There were a lot of children and it was very noisy with all the games and sounds. Again, this was expected. There is a monitor at the door who stamps the wrists of everyone in your party and it is viewed under a light before you can leave to make sure you are leaving with your child. It's a good security measure. The location is easy to find and there was ok parking. There were enough games for everyone to play and most parents were supervising their children so everyone could take turns and there were no really long waits. The actual location is clean which is a plus. There were other issues during our visit. First and foremost, Chuck E Cheese is known for their stamp / security at entrance/exit. When we arrived no one was at the door and we were told to just walk in because they are "short staffed". The staff that was on were not so friendly. At one point the electricity went out for over 5 minutes where it went black in the entire building. The lights then started to turn on then turn off. The staff were not communicating with us with what was going on. When we asked to have the time that we lost added back to our card they refused and said the shortage was "less than 5 minutes"; which it wasn't and even if it was for 1 minute.. that was time I had paid for and should be given back for my children. We order Churros and it literally took nearly 30 minutes to get and the entire time waiting for them was getting rude faces from the manager as I stood there patiently waiting. This location does need lots of help and corporate should really be looking into how to fix the management and staff! read more

We are here at least once a month for a birthday party. Because it's a good place for a kids party. Decent pizza, they let you bring in your own cake and if you book your party on line they give you extra free tokens. Place is clean and the layout is bright and open. They also stamp the adult and the kid with matching numbers when you walk in so the kid can't leave with the wrong adult. This makes it possible to let the kids run around while you sit and chat with the other parents. Plus, they serve beer. And that's why they get the five stars read more

Warning !!! Some rides are Unsafe for children!! I was invited for the birthday party and decided to go and see what this place is all about. Up on arrival I observed that the place has security system that requires the adult and a child to receive invisible water stamp that will glow in the black light upon exiting to insure the number match - made me feel good that someone is actually thought about child safety here. - but what I saw next made me think twice about child safety at this place!! As I was walking around and accompanying a 3 year old, I have noticed that one of the main attractions there that absolutely every child goes on was faulty and unsafe. The ride that has a slide from the top to the bottom had a broken back wall piece just left there without any warning or cautionary tape or any broken signs of any kind. In order to go through this ride the child had to go through this broken back wall area every single time. I included a picture so everyone can see and make sure that their child will not have their leg stuck in that area that could lead to a potential catastrophic event. I have observed the at least 2 small children got their foot stuck in there and I have immediately reached out to the manager and showed her the area. I have asked her to please fix it immediately, or put this ride out of service until it is fixed on she replied she'll have somebody look into that in the morning, in the morning?? I said , really? There was kids riding that slide every second and I felt that the staff did not do anything at all to take safety measures to insure the safety of the kids. This shows the negligence on behalf of the staff. The I don't care attitude ‍ and incompetence level was just over the top. When I came back around again for the second time I saw more kids ages 2-4 riding that slide and staff didn't even bother to temporarily advise the occupants of potential risk on this slide. For such blunt negligence and don't give a attitude while at work and operating facility full of children under 5 I am extremely disappointed in safety mechanisms and staff training at this location. Zero for this place! This is safety of our most precious possession our children !!! I reached out via email to the corporate office as well, no response as of yet.... Please check all the rides in this place as one can only assume that there might be more issues that are not visible at first glance. read more

Recently we gathered up all our Chuck E Cheese coinage laying around the house and have had it rattling around in a ziplock bag in the car and on a trip around town decided to stop in and spend it on a whim. Oh the fun times you can have with an 18 year old kid and an 11 year old with a load of Chuck E Cheese coins and we had a blast!! They have gone beyond the crap pizza...now they have the crap Pizza and a salad bar, chicken wings and hoooray for the parents...beer and wine. The only way I can think to describe it is the pizza had been left out for a day and then reheated in the oven. The crust was like cardboard and had no flavor. What do you expect for $20? My daughter and I played games and got tickets. When it came time to redeem the tickets only one of their counting machines was working and there was a line of 4 kids in front of us. The kid at the front of the line had about 50 individual tickets on the floor that had to be fed slowly one at a time. Several were out of tickets, but the staff was going around to different machines and loading them in. It might have been due to such a heavy crowd. We didn't eat this time, just came to play. So I have to start this off by saying that Almost 10 years ago, I worked at CEC as my first job. Yes, I played Chuck himself, and inbetween the hairy mouse I worked on the arcade games. It was a good experience. I have frequented CEC since I was too young to remember, so generally I know what to expect there. It's a good place to catch the flu or a case of the runs. This particular store looks great, they expanded and almost doubled the square footage within the past couple years. We went on the 3rd of January, in mid afternoon. It was obvious they had a huge rush during the lunch time, and they were still quite busy. There were dirty tables everywhere. They needed to send someone out to do a little damage control, I don't know where everyone was because as I looked around there was only a couple bday party servers and they were in a different section. No big deal. My issue was this, we ordered this new "flat bread" pizza. Specifically BBQ chicken. It came out with just a few bell peppers, a sprinkle of chicken, no onions (which was interesting), and this kicker was they forgot the BBQ sauce. So, we got the green pepper and chicken, sauce less paper thin pizza. I went up to the kitchen area and told them, they said we will take care of it. A girl comes back with the pizza, and they had squirted cold BBQ sauce on the top of it... Immediately the girl realized how pathetic and apologized before I could even say "uh, what is this?" : "I'm so sorry this is my first day here" , I understood, and just said well can you send someone out for me? She quickly grabbed a girl who came out, rolled her eyes at me, and took the pizza. She then comes back with no pizza and says "you'll have to go up to the front and buy a new pizza" , um, no. So I went up, had to talk to a manager which thankfully quickly made us a medium three topping with almost zero questions asked, and I appreciate that. I just have to say its upsetting to see the lack of pride at the crew member level, but hey, what do you expect from nearly minimum wage earners with a room packed full of kiddos. Anyway, I didn't completely hate the experience, I just know CEC has higher expectations. They could've probably used a few more employees on the clock, as I'm sure the profits could afford a little expansion to payroll. Thanks to the manager for stepping up and helping us out though. In the end it's just CEC, I know things can get s bit crazy there when its busy. My advice is it stick with what you know, the regular pizzas, sandwiches, and wings. read more

They have no consideration for the customers and their problems, I went to one of their employees to ask about my food because it has been about an hour since I last ordered. The employee said she's try to get my food out to me so, I waited for another 30 minutes before my food was brought to me. We have had multiple birthday parties here. It's clean and the food is quite good. They even have wine and beer on tap. Having a birthday party here is so easy, they do everything for you and the prices are very reasonable. I never worry about my child getting lost or going outside because of their stamping system.
