When we went, we had to reserve a time slot online. I believe it was free too. It wasn't too crowded when we went so we had time to enjoy every section. Pretty cool just like the set, take your photos and relive the show. There's a souvenir shop in the back in case you want some items. I'm a child of the 80s so I could relate to the items. We didn't buy anything but glad we checked it out. Didn't really need to interact with the staff as we were pretty much in & out in like 20 mins. I went to get a smoothie afterwards.

It will be here at least until November 6th but beyond that not much is known. It is free to experience. Park by the Macy's in the garage. It is next to Santa's Workshop which is under construction. You can put in for a ticket so you do t have to wait or you can just come down. There was only a 10 minute wait to get in. The main hold up was people who wanted their picture in front of the Stranger Things logo before entering. The wait was quick and I was entertained by the 80's music playing. The store has all of your Stranger Things merchandise and they have photo ops. You walk into the Byers living room. Complete with strung Christmas lights. It was so much fun to sit on Joyce's 80's couch. Other things you will recognize are the Starcourt Mall with Scoops Ahoy merch, the skating rink, the Hawkins School, Surfer Boy Pizza, and the Arcade where I had a blast reliving my youth with Ms. Pac-Man. You can even ride the kids bicycles into the upside down world. It was amazing how much of the show they got in. In the last room you are face to face with a demogorgon. This experience had a line because people stop and take pictures. Fans of the show will love seeing the TV show come to life. Merch is expensive but what price can you put on becoming a member of the Hell Fire club! The augmented reality pins looked really interesting. You can even personalize your shirts like a staff name on a Scoops Ahoy shirt or your name on a Hawkins team jersey. The only thing I didn't like was there was four registers set up and only one person checking out, The line to check out was longer than to see the demogorgon. They need more staff ringing up purchases. At the end a second person jumped on and after that it was better.

My daughter has been begging to go for her birthday because she sees the commercials daily so it was an easy yes since it would require less preparation from me. Eileen our hostess with the mostess was attentive, friendly and accommodating. They have changed the layout of this location and they removed the ball pit (thank God) and it is all video and interactive games for all ages. There aren't anymore tokens because they use a card that you can swipe for the games. They still have my favorite game, skee ball (old school girlie over here lol) but at the time, not all of the lanes were working. I'm a big kid but eventually I had to share and let the other kids play lol. I moved on to the basketball hoops and the nostalgia was creeping in. The stage that they used to have with all the characters is no more and they have a big LED screen. Chuck E. is the only one that comes out and you can tell they take good care of the suit. Wasn't super gross or weird looking. Most of the kids were excited to see him and none ran away like we used to, lol. If you're doing a birthday party you're allowed to bring cupcakes and some decorations. They do provide plates, cups are included in the package with two slices of their absolutely amazing pizza and they'll also put a table cloth. I brought my own decor but if you're not really trying to do all that, you'll be covered. I had about 21 kids and my total came out to 500 and change. Btw, hey do require a 50 dollar deposit at booking and you can do that online. You're allowed to change the amount of people that show up, but right as you arrive. So if you're estimate is over, you will be paying for the no-shows. Pro tip, if you're unsure round off to a lesser amount and then you can add later. Please also note that the package is only for kids. You have to add pizzas and drinks for the adults attending which will add to your tab. Lastly, I had a great time. I was going back and forth between doing it at a park or here. But this was more affordable, less stress and my daughter had the best day ever. Thankful that her 5th birthday party was a success and we will definitely be back soon!

A customer let me know this plan would probably meet my needs. My child is (my mom} 90 years old and she just doesn't want to visit. The nice employees told me that I could call up corporate in 2 or 3 months and cancel if need be. As of February 18th, I have not been back. I called corporate headquarters to cancel and was told in very firm words that I had checked a box and signed a 12-month contract with them. They would not let me get out of it. Until 12 months have expired. To quote John Morgan from the largest personal Injury attorney firm in America. The only thing corporate America cares about is MONEY. Not relationships, kindness or even common sense. I guess when I visit Chuck E Cheese I should bring my attorney along and pay his hourly fee to make sure that I am safe. My only desire was to stop the monthly charge because in my case no services were rendered after my initial visit. So, this means as low as $63 or $70 remaining. It wasn't my idea to have to write this letter. This is the hill they want to fight for and die on. The callous, selfish and mean-spirited nature of this companies' policies left me no other choice but to bring this to your attention. I want to encourage you, the consumer who are reading this, to spend your money elsewhere. I have reviews with over 30,000 views in a year. If only 100 people with a lifetime spending of $100 see this and choose the competition, we can make a difference. Human beings matter. Thank you for taking the time to read this review and make your own informed decision hopefully without need for legal fees and advice.

While that isn't too bad, the bad part is the fact that more times than not, the seat are stained with who-knows-what. The place feels rundown enough that whenever I come here, as soon as I am home, I throw my clothes in the wash and take a shower. The popcorn and concessions are pretty good and the popcorn is always popping hot and fresh when I am here, even during time when there aren't many people or a slow time of the day! The staff here is usually friendly but there have been times when I get my ticket scanned, they don't point me in the right direction. That isn't horrible but the theater has many different paths to walk and can get confusing if you have never been here. They have a few cool arcade games but they are pricey for what they are and I would spend that money on some more concessions (that are also overpriced). I also really love that this theater has an IMAX screen and this theater also plays some of those movies that are harder to find if they are indie or a foreign film. A nice enough theater but one that needs to be renovated for my to be able to make this review anything more than 3 stars!

In addition to it being a 24 screen theater, they have IMAX & Dolby screens as well as RealD 3D options to choose from. If I'm looking for a movie that isn't being screened at either of my local AMC 8's I know there's a good chance it'll be playing here. I've been coming here more in recent months, with no complaints, but there's some things that should be brought to attention. I know they've been open for many years & truly appreciate the fact that they're still thriving but they're definitely showing their age. Unfortunately, a lot of auditoriums have dirty seats & sometimes I'll have to move from my chosen one because it's in rough shape when I arrive. They're also the seats that don't recline so that's a knock considering most AMCs have the nice CLEAN leather recliners. The seats need to be the main focus for management here. If they're dealt with properly I'll gladly give them a higher rating; this truly is the one big thing holding them back. Concessions here are pretty much on par with what to expect at AMC. They're usually efficient, employees are friendly & the snacks are always delicious. This is a busier location so you should expect a bit of a wait but I personally don't have any complaints from my visits. I like the small arcade section in the main lobby. Although the games are more modern, it gives the nostalgic feel from back when theaters used to have awesome arcades! While cash might be a thing of the past at a lot of places now, they have a machine to convert it onto a game play card. Overall, I enjoy catching movies here but I can't say it's the best AMC in terms of cleanliness. My main reason for coming here is due to the variety of films they offer. It's not my first choice to come to Aventura, in general, but I'll make the trip when there's a movie I want to see.

Luckily, I spotted self-parking, and we were able to get into the garage instead. Check-in was easy. As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I appreciate the benefits of loyalty, and my room was upgraded to the Orchid Tower with a beautiful balcony overlooking the golf course. The resort charges a $75 resort fee, which includes access to the gym, putting greens, and Tidal Cove Water Park. On Saturday afternoon we headed to the water park, but it was so crowded. There were no chairs available, the lazy river was bumper-to-bumper with people, and several families allowed their children to fight and run around while security seemed uninterested. We left and walked over to the adult pool, which was nice and had plenty of chairs. The wedding itself was beautiful. The Grand Ballroom was a little tight for the 220 guests. The dance floor was too small to accommodate. The catered meal (beef, fish, or vegetarian) was typical banquet food and unfortunately inedible. I was there to celebrate the bride and groom, so the food was secondary. Although, If I was paying, I would not have been happy. Sunday brought more disappointment. We returned to Tidal Cove only to find it just as crowded, so we again headed to the adult pool. While relaxing, a woman brought her small dog to the pool. Marriott may allow dogs on the property, and I have no issue with that, but she actually let the dog swim in the pool. Another guest complained, yet the dog remained in the water while the owner loudly argued. Soon other guests started bringing their dogs down to the pool. Again, not one of the workers around the pool said anything. A resort pool should not become a dog park. I had been given a 3:30 p.m. late checkout, I was so disgusted that I left at 1:00 p.m. At checkout I told the front desk exactly what I had witnessed. Then came the final frustration. Self-parking is advertised at $45 per day and was supposed to be charged to my room. Instead, I paid at the garage exit. My ticket showed I entered at 1:46 p.m. Saturday and exited at 2:02 p.m. Sunday--just 20 minutes over 24 hours. Rather than charging the daily rate plus perhaps a small overage, I was charged $74.90. I made my husband stop at the parking office where I spoke with Rachel. She contacted the manager, who assured me the extra charge would be removed. A week later, the full $74.90 posted to my Visa with no adjustment. I've tried to call the hotel directly and every time they forward the call to accounting, no one picks up and call drops. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but between the overcrowding, dogs swimming in the adult pool, and the parking overcharge that was never corrected, this stay was extremely disappointing. As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member who chooses Marriott whenever possible, I expected far better customer service and management. Unfortunately, I will never return. There are other Marriott Resorts in Florida that are so much nicer.
