Since they opened, I've mostly seen male staff, and unfortunately some of them seem to lack patience and communication skills when interacting with both kids and parents. Working in a kids environment definitely requires a lot of patience and friendliness. Another thing I didn't like is that they charge for an extra adult. So if both parents come with one child, one parent has to pay extra. I've been to many indoor playgrounds and have never had to pay for a second adult, so that's honestly one of the main reasons I stopped going. The location is convenient, but I do think it's a little pricey for what it offers. Memberships or punch cards would make it feel less of a rip off.

Also, for what they charge (over $20), the gate/latch mechanism to go in and out of the play area should be a bit more secure rather than put together with cheap materials. Of course, it's the parent's responsibility to watch their kids and not the facility's, but a better system would provide some added peace of mind.

We started off with shakers and fun songs, followed by playing with silks, dancing, and then sensory play during the second half of the class. I loved that one of the activities was fall themed. The activity involved creating a little pumpkin using arts and crafts materials which was so cute! There was also a sensory bin and another activity that involved water play. Every activity was really engaging and my son had so much fun with them. After class we were able to stay a bit longer so he could play with his friends. The open play area had a slide, cars, a little market with shopping carts, toy trucks, and so much more for the kids to explore. He had the best morning at Explorico! They allow snacking at the tables inside so that you don't have to struggle to move your kid away from playing to refuel. They also sell a small variety of healthy snacks. The indoor playground is awesome. It was constantly being cleaned and the play areas were always being cleaned up by the wonderful staff. The young ladies behind the entrance counter were super friendly and professional. They made sure the gate is also latched so that the kiddies know to stay in the playground. Everything is carpeted and padded for safety. I felt that my grand daughter was very safe even when I couldn't see her running through the obstacle course. The activity areas were great. There is a dress up play house where boys and girls can dress up as a princess, a firefighter, and even a chef including the little chef hat. There is an area with wooden trains, stacking blocks, a pretend store, a reading area, and a crawling area for the non walkers. This place is excellent for the growth of imagination and a great way to have the kids run out their energy on a hot or rainy day. The ball pit has a screen to play for points and a small trampoline to jump the sillys out. Everything is child sized right down to the ninja warrior styled course and the corkscrew slide.
