It's been awhile since I've been here. My kids are pretty grown. Now it's time for the new era of kiddos to experience CEC and by new era I mean my grandbaby. She turned 3 this year and some how discovered Chuck E Cheese on Youtube. So naturally we needed to throw her birthday party here. We chose the Gilroy site as it is a little bit more intimate and parking is plentiful. My daughter reserved a table and purchased a party package. Each child received a bracelet with unlimited tokens. It took a minute for us to get our table even though there were reservations made. Thank goodness the kids were busy using up their unlimited tokens bracelets. It took some time to receive our food even though we had to wait for our table. At least the food was decent. Pizza didn't taste like cardboard and the salad bar was fresh. When it came time for Chuck E Cheese to make his appearance I was astonished at how my brilliant 3 year old grandangel was not only not afraid of this giant mouse but she also knew all the songs and dances. I guess her Youtube research paid off..lol! All in all she had a blast. She still talks about it and we are a month out. My rating is solely for my experience with our party host, Alexis. She was amazing! Kind, sweet, attentive to every need, communication was amazing, patient. From the second we walked in until we left she was there helping and attending to us all. We paid for the ultimate party package per child and I will say it's definitely worth it for all of the perks that come with it. My host also was letting us know of everything that was coming next and the timeframe so we would know what to expect. Overall Alexis made my child's birthday special. read more

Nice updated location since the last time I've been here, although there was no control over the adventure zone (trampoline area). I paid $15 extra per kid to jump when they had nobody attending the area and almost everyone joined in including kids that were past the height requirement climbing on top of the structure. Most loved games/ attractions: -The Photo Booth's *( has two different modes of operation one you are seated inside and the second you are standing behind the Photo Booth so 2 cameras total) . - Trolls game : you win lots of tickets by scoring at the right time whipping the trolls hair to get the marked tickets in your slot. - Motorcycle racing/ car racing both are faced back to back. - Not exactly sure the name but it was similar to whack a mole but frogs instead of moles lol - Skeeball : always fun to see the little ones try their luck rolling the balls into the high score targets . - Basketball hooping and nfl football game. My family has been a Gold pass holder for coming up on 1 year now im super impressed and would recommend bringing our family the games are always in service the salad bar is 90 of the time fully stocked with fresh veggies never a mess including the bathrooms everything is super clean including the restroom. I recommend William and Allie and be promoted to supervisers they both take their job super above and beyond and work above their pay grade grate job highering them im sad to see Marina go and would love to see more of Juan he is cuter,manager material if he could get more hours this place would get a perfect score sadly he is only here on Sundays read more

I really wish this location would just stop lying to its patrons about the A/C system. It's always a sauna in this place. I've been to two parties in the last six months and the excuses the staff comes up with is crazy. Either fix your system or get a new one already, not like yall don't make enough money. The staff at todays party was better than the last time I was there and it was lots cleaner but the games need some updating as half don't work properly. My family had a great time visiting the Gilroy chuck e cheese location. I loved how there is a huge parking lot, so it was easy to find parking. My daughter also got to meet Chuck e cheese, since he comes out every hour. It was nice seeing him dressed up for Halloween. This location is very clean and very well maintained. Brought the kids here for a little pre party fun. It was not very busy which is the best way to go to chick e cheese'. We did not get any food, but we spent about 30 dollars on game points. Kids played so many games and accumulated over 500 tickets in about 35 minutes. The kids had a great time and it was fun watching them enjoy the games. Of course some games were broken but what arcade has all its games working? When it was time for prizes the kids had just over 500 tickets. Unfortunately the cheap prizes were crazy expensive, 500 tickets for a tiny ball and 60 for a tootsie roll. We decided to let them choose one thing and save the rest. All in all pretty good time, but I recommend going early to beat the rush. read more

My biggest complaint is the value of what you pay. Combo #5 includes 2 large pizzas with one topping, a giant cookie (which was unavailable at the moment), so instead we got an 8pc churro and 6 fountain drinks. We had a party of 7 and thought this would be enough. I then ordered their "medium" sized wings for 20.99 and come to realize it only came with 8 pieces!? You've got to be kidding me!! The owner NEEDS to schedule MORE staff. How ridiculous that you have 2 staffed employees, that I saw, one running the kitchen & the other running around to stamp & assist in the purchasing of the game card(s). We arrived right at 11am and it was bare until around 11:30-12 where it got hectic. People kept coming in while my family waited at the counter to check tickets & get my kid a toy. Upon leaving, that's when the gentleman came over to check we had been stamped. But he had to run from behind the counter just to catch us. SCHEDULE MORE PEOPLE so he can focus on helping people at the register instead making him become flustered! The pizza is always good, got that. Games were working, finally, since every time before many of the games were broken... You'd think the owner would be more inclined to keep the only Chuck E Cheese in Gilroy well staffed to keep up with the demand... kudos to the employees and their hard work. My close friend had visited this place with her daughter not too long ago, and this review has been on my to-do list for a while!. There are many food options and the beer is great. I'm glad they give restrictions on alcohol, it really shows how much they care about intoxication around kids and i respect that. My daughter also had so much fun, her favorite thing right now is that special unicorn cupcake they have. the sprinkles are her favorite part, it makes me happy to see that my daughter still enjoys this place after a few years of us coming by here. I'm sure the workers try their hardest even in these trying times. Never had an upset stomach either, the kitchen is probably very sanitary! no doubt about it! I would host my daughter's birthday here again. It was a blast for the kids and easy for the parents. Honestly, after reading some of the negative reviews, I actually went down in-person to check out the space and talk to the staff, and even saw a person walking around checking all the games, so that also gave me hope that they were really responding to some of the negative reviews they received from others. I'm glad I picked this location and hosted my daughter's 6th birthday here. Some reasons: 1. called me two days before to confirm everything and talk about timing; 2. all but one game was working; 3. clean; 4. never felt rushed; 5. made her feel special on her birthday; 6. set-up and clean-up done by their team (even the goodie bags); and 7. the cost was fair for all that was included in the big birthday package. A huge thanks to our Gilroy, Chuck E. Cheese party planner - Sandra. She was GREAT to work with and was around the whole party to check on things. Thank you, again! This Chuck E. Cheese was very clean. One The managers Josh Garza was very professional and helpful in making my kids experience the best. The pizzas were freshly made and delicious. Took my son and literally just about every game or ride he played was malfunctioning. 20 minuets into being there he asked me if we could leave and go somewhere else. Second straight year my now 4yr old and youngest has chosen C.E.Cheese for his birthday. Last year was okay but was sort of a cluster f$@& with little structure it seemed like. Cleanliness was maybe a 2 outta 5, food was a 0, a lot of the games were non-operational but I think the kids still had a good time.... it was the adults that saw through the flaws. This year he wanted C.E.C again and I rolled my eyes. Last year was a later birthday and this year we got the early opening for Saturday at 10am. This visit there was structure as we didn't have to ask for anything, we were being directed as to what was happening next or what was upcoming with a few minutes warning. The party was set up the night before (it looked like) because we were ready to go the moment we entered. Having the place essentially to ourselves (being that it was so early) was a huge upside as well. Portia the new manager had the place clean and up and running as it should be, all the games were in working order and the food was a hit. We had a huge turn out 10 more people than we thought and Portia was very accommodating with the last minute additions. All in all it was a very good experience for roughly 25 kids and 15 adults at $600. read more

The email I received promised 1 large 1 topping pizza and 30 minutes of play for only $10. The manager Art refused to honor the email offer. He also refused to give his name and only provided a generic business card when I asked for his name. I had to get his name from one of the other employees. Super bad customer service!! The email clearly states pizza and play time for $10 valid this week. Beware of this rip-off scam!! I wouldn't doubt he is profiting from this in some dishonest way!! We attended a birthday party at this Chuck E Cheese location Friday night. It was a bit of a drive from Milpitas but it wasn't so bad. Hubby had a plan and it paid off. We avoided traffic taking the inside roads to 101 :) It wasn't busy at all when we arrived but to me that's a good thing. The kids got to play whatever they wanted and with no wait. This location is clean. Staff is friendly. The party crew was friendly especially one of the hosts. He really got into the routine and broke a sweat. My family and I don't mind the food at Chuck E Cheese. Kids love the pizza. I had salad and nothing else :) 4 stars for the cleanliness, friendliness, party host with the mostest AND serving beer! This Gilroy Location is a bit on the small side compared to Tully and much cleaner compared to Kooser. Maybe thats why its so cool, small clean, inviting, not too empty, not too crowded. Just right. The salad bar was surprisingly fresh and green. The games were clean, some broken but none were run down. The pizza and wings came out hot. Sure they messed up our order but they fixed it, and were happy about it. All the workers looked like there were having fun, and the customers were having a good time playing games. The service here sucks. If I could give zero I would. We waited 10 minutes before anyone came to the front. Then food was cold and I ordered salad bar. Veggies were old looking and even the tomatoes still had stems on them. The floors were so gross. Food and trash all over. Tables weren't even wiped down. This is a Thursday night and maybe roughly 5 families. One associate was at counter but over time I counted 7 employees just hanging out behind the counter smacking each other with lanyards. Such a waste of my money coming here. It is a shame since there is not where else here in our small town to take kiddos for a little fun. Looks like we will never come here again. Came here Friday morning. Ordered a personal pizza and family sized wings that took 2 hours to get out. Ridiculous!especially considering it was an extremely slow lunch hour and we were one out of three customers! I redeemed a coupon of 50 free tickets and Becca gave me an attitude as if I was trying to scam them some how and questioned how I got the coupon. Not a single Chuck E. Just Hosted my little siblings birthday here and it was amazing. our birthday host was juggling between 2 different parties and yet still managed to help us out, bring us our food,plates,utensils and a great attitude to the party. The food was good and Covid Precautions were more than adequate, our host and the manager were very helpful on guiding us throughout the night. we ordered 2 pizzas,over a dozen of cups, and salad plates that were not included in our birthday package without a problem or hesitation. the staff although busy were still very much attentive and gave you their full focus. The employees were amazing! We were driving to SF from LA & the 2 yrs & 3yrs old started to cry. So we had to stop. We came to their door like at 9:15 and they were closing at 10. We wanted to order pizza which they said kitchen is closed but then the lady at the cashier said she can ask and they ended up making us a pizza. I just want to thank the team that were on shift on 9/4/21 from 9:00pm-10:00pm. Thank you all for letting us eat and let the children play for a bit. We truly appreciate it! You all saved our day!!
