We've gone here a few times, bc its closer to us than the one we used to go to in Bridgewater. Its OK. Half the time, tickets don't come out, and when its busy...empty tables are a big mess. They were nice enough to give me a coupon price when I showed it on my phone rather than have it printed out like the site says you have to. We've only eaten at the other Chuck E Cheese twice. My daughter had her fifth birthday party here. It was great and all the kids had fun. All of the games are newer and worked, which is not always the case with arcades, like kidz village, where half the stuff is out of order. Chuck E came out a few times which the kids loved. The pizza was good and for 350 bucks, we entertained a group of ten kids plus adults. The best part for my daughter was the Ticket Blaster, which she was obsessed with. The most meh part of the day was the animatronic show, which was a little calmer than I remember them being in the 80s when I was a kid. This is a great location. It is pretty clean. They have the band animatronics. They can break a little bit they're good. The games are fun. They give you free bags to hold tickets you win. However, the dog animatronic (Jasper) couldn't look up. His head was facing down. And he had no hat on. It was weird. Pasqually's arm was broken. Helen's jaw can be broken. I am originally from Staten ISland but sunday I've decided to meet my boyfriend with his kids at Chuck E. Cheese's just so we can all enjoy a nice family time.. Unfortunately, this place was dirty, most of the games were out of ordered and the games were boring.. Took my son here for the first time. Not how I remembered it and the service was bad. There was no jungle gym which I remember there being when I was little, it was only video games. Come to this location at your own risk on a Sunday. The place was mobbed beyond seating capacity, the staff was visibly stressed out, food took an hour to get to us and we got a single pizza. There are more games for adults and older kids and the stuff for the younger kids is in a corner. Went on a Saturday night. Pure chaos with the number of people there at 8pm. It started to die down at around 9pm, close to kids' bedtimes, I assume. But, definitely more pleasant because the games were more available. The place is divided into two areas. One for the big kids and one for the little ones with appropriate games in each. The pizza and spicy chicken wings we ordered were surprisingly tasty. The buffet looked pretty fresh considering Chuck E Cheese has been around for a long time. I like how they serve fresh spinach and not just iceberg lettuce. And it's all you can eat so it may be worth it for a nice healthy meal. The meal deals (included with drinks) come with tokens depending on how much you order. But, it comes with a hefty price. I suppose you pay for the price of the tokens as well. The actual play area is a little tight, but that's because there are a good number of games all packed into the given space. Most machines give out tickets so that you can pick out prizes with them. Keep in mind that the game machines give out only 4 tickets for every token used. Then, you feed the tickets to other machines that make a sound like their munching on the tickets. It's pretty cute. Finally, out comes a total count of the number of tickets that your children (or yourself) do proudly earned. Then give that to the friendly and patient staff to pick out your cool prize. Some require just 10 or 25 tickets for a cute ring or others. And the tickets never expire. I still have some tickets from 2012 that I plan to use. My son enjoys the arcade and so we went to Chuck-Es. The food menu does not offer much variery and is not healthy but its a nice family place to go to once in a while. Its also a nice place to organize your kids birthdays. All in all good for kids as it offers variery of games to keep them good busy. read more

My family LOVES this Chuck E. Cheese's location! It's clean, the staff is super friendly and the kids always have a great time! We had my daughter and my nephew's 3rd birthday party here a few years ago and I was so impressed with how organized it was and again, how friendly and helpful the staff was. The place is great for pretty much all ages. When you walk in, the right side is geared more towards toddlers and preschoolers and the left side features games and entertainment for the older ones. Even my 18 month old enjoys the games, rides and the food! It's the perfect indoor entertainment place for kids and we always look forward to going back! read more

Enjoyed afternoon with my nephew playing video games. He is five and great age for the place. I especially like the security measures. When you go in they stamp your hand and your child's hand and before you leave they check to make sure the stamps match. Not sure if all the franchises do this bc this has been only one I've been to. We ordered pizza and tater tots for lunch. They advertise the thin and crispy pizza beat Pizza Hut but I found it to be similar to be just above a frozen pizza not to say that is bad. I have been here few times with my nephews-- and i have visited all 5 Chuck E Cheese's on this area. I waited to write my review till my last visit. This is one of the better managed branches. The staff is courteous-- and they are helpful unlike the branch on Route 22 or on route 1 on North Bergen. As far as games, they have all the same games-- and they are as clean as they can be for a kids place. This place gets really packed & busy even on weeknights so be aware. This branch also doesn't give you hard time with on-line coupons like other branches I mentioned earlier. Overall - my nephews have fun every time they go there & its pretty cheap kids fun place. read more

Games are really great for kids. You definitely get you money's worth. The food service on the other hand is slow. Took more then 20 mins for a personal pan pizza and a sandwich. The sandwich was not the one I ordered. So I sent it back. It took another 20 mins and still no sandwich. So I asked for my refund. Terrelle was the manager this night. We went to Chuck E Cheese with high expectations for my daughter's 7th birthday. She was very excited for the party. We booked the party online. In the morning my wife called up to place the order for adults as we wanted pizza to be ready when the party started. Everything was supposedly written down but our host showed us the party sheet without the order. Now, starting with the party. Our party was booked for 8 PM. We reached there at 7.45 to make sure everything is fine and we wanted to reach before our guests came. The manager greeted us very enthusiastically but one of the crew members came and told us we are early and we said we know, we would wait. We asked the manager to give 100 tokens (bonus tokens for the Friday party) and she gave those. Our guests started coming in - it was 8.15, no one from Chuck E Cheese appeared. I went to one of the crew members (the same one we met earlier who told we are early) and she, without even looking at the watch said "You are early". I showed her the time and then (without apologising) said I'll call your host. Our host came at 8.20 and told that you need to place order as kitchen does not accept anything after 8.30 - and they didn't have any information about the order placed in the morning. Anyways, we placed the order. She told that they would serve pizza at 8.40 and start the party at 9.00 and she want us to make sure that everyone adheres to time as "they" are very strict. So much for delaying the party for 20 minutes already. We reminded her that we are supposed to get 20 extra tokens for booking the party online and despite reminding her twice, we never received those. Anyhow, the pizza was served and at 9.00 they started the party. There was almost absolute silence from the host's side when Chuck E Cheese appeared in front of the kids. Also, while it was time for cake-cutting, she showed least enthusiasm even then.The tiara was supposed to be holding tokens but she just inflated the tiara balloon and got it out without tokens and told I'll give you 8 tokens that the tiara is supposed to hold - we never got those as well. She was not at all interested in placing more then one candle. Everything was being done by so much effort. The smile on her face was forced. Overall, really bad experience. Here are the main points: 1. Was being reminded that we are early even 15 minutes after the party was supposed to start. 2. Was never given 20 tokens for online booking despite multiple reminders 3. The food order given in the morning was not with them so we had to order everything again. 4. Host was least enthusiastic about the party. She was doing it as a job that she need to finish and go home. 5. Tiara for birthday girl, which is one of the main attraction for kids was brought without the coins in it - and she plainly said I'll give you the tokens - more then those 8 tokens is the fact that those enhance the look of the tiara so those should be placed. 7. The only good thing was the enthusiasm of the manager but unfortunately, this was not visible in the team with which the guests are supposed to interact. the chucke cheese in edison rt 1... we went to on a sunday 10/25/15. it is not a great place to bring your young children in anymore. the place was dirty, tables were not clean, still food, cake left on tables. Most of the machines in kiddie side were not working such as photo booth , the chucke car machine does not produce the photos as the children get on it.. the jumping chucke machine was out of tickets, so my little one did not get all tickets from going on any of those machines. my husband ask one of the employees to help and clean one of tables for us before we sat down and he did not care and dismiss the matter. i saw no managers around. this place is ghetto and does not feel safe environment to bring your children to. the bathrooms were disgusting, not clean, looked like a portable potty units.oh and the system of shining a flash light to your hand to match if you have the right child i snot safe or reliable system, the young kid didnt even know what he was looking at and that is a major concern that this is not treated serious. anybody can walk in and out with a child. while he was checking this long line of people out, there was a line of people just standing there waiting to get in which they should have 2 people in the front 1 to check in people and 1 to check out people. will not ever go there again and will not mention to any of my circle of friends to bring their children there. there are better places, cleaner places, more welcome places to bring little ones to. read more
