Took my toddler for his first experience and he enjoyed it. I love that theres a side where young toddlers can play. Especially the lightening McQueen ride. Hes a huge Cars fan so he rode on it about 3 times. We used the Groupon deal and it was perfect! We ordered a large pie, 2 drinks, wings and the salad bar. Staff was awesome. The girl behind the counter explained everything and made it easy to see how I can use the Groupon the most effective way for my family. Loved the dancefloor area and my toddler really enjoyed dancing with Chuck E. My husband even enjoyed playing on some of the games. If you're looking for a chaotic experience where no one watches their kids, this is the place for you. The stuffed crust pizza is nostalgic and delicious. Highly enjoyed the slice of Buddy's confetti cake. There's many games, some little rides, and a trampoline area. A few of the games/attractions were out of order or missing pieces. This is probably the worst chuckee cheese locations. The employees are so rude. I pay for a membership and was in the area so i took my daughter there. Right off the bat the vibe was off. Everything was a chore for these people. Manager Deena was a cumquot. She refused to help me out. I had just filled a card with 250 points and my daughter lost it. Its beeb minutes. She kept reciting the policy to me that no lost cards shall be replaced while im with a crying 3 year old who loves chuckee cheese. I returned to talk to her and another customer cut me off in front of Deens and told me i should go f**k myself since im not wearing a wedding band. And deena laughed. I tried to report her. I am surprised by some of the negative reviews but perhaps they are older and the place has improved since then. We hosted my son's fifth birthday party at the Edison Chuck E. Cheese and he had a blast. At first I was nervous about it because you book online without talking to anyone, if it wasn't for my son wanting to go so bad I probably would have chickened out. A few days before the party I received a call from Barbara and she was very nice and informative, that definitely set my mind at ease. She was able to adjust my reservation to exactly what we wanted and needed, and gave helpful tips so that we ordered the appropriate amount of food. Upon arriving on the big day, we were immediately brought to our party area, they were booked solid that morning and afternoon but worked so efficiently that we felt well taken care of and did not feel rushed. I believe the party passes worked even once our party area time expired. We had our own party host, Shari, and she was amazing. So helpful and understanding and very kind. She was great with my son who tends to be very shy especially in crowded, loud settings. I mentioned to Shari that my son was a little nervous about being close to Chuck E and she made sure to keep him at bay without it effecting the show for the other kids. We felt well taken care of and all of the kids had a blast, especially my son. I've never been to Chuck E. Cheese before this so I walked in with new eyes. There no longer is a play crawl/ball pit structure and it's rather focused more on arcade-type games. They have a section for little kids and a section for older kids. The party package I selected had unlimited game play and the kids loved that. The pizza was surprisingly pretty good, I am not a crust person but the crust was delicious. We also ordered fries and a veggie platter which were fresh and tasty. Anything leftover I was able to take home. I feel we got a great value for what we paid. I was in the area with my family so we decided to check out a Chuck E Cheese location that I had never checked out. We came to play some games and at first it looked as if the location was going to be solid. Unfortunately, this was a sad location. The reason why it was so sad is because there weren't any jackpots and every game gave you the same amount of tickets, regardless how you do. In my opinion, winning tickets is fun and making all the machines worth the same amount destroys this part of the experience. I will not go back to this location and I feel bad for people that have this as their primary location. All of the other locations that I have visited (and there have been many) were much better. read more

This young lady, with blonde hair was being very unprofessional the last visit I had in this establishment. My pizza was cold, cut uneven, and the wings were soggy. I am very unhappy and disappointed with the service I was provided, and believe it was overall too expensive for the quality of time I had. This place was my favorite as a kid. I would always try to convince my mom to take me every weekend she was free. I loved the ambiance. I thought it was heaven with the amount of arcade machines and tickets i won. I would never get enough points for the top shelf but still it was worth it for a tootsie roll. I thought the pizza was always so gourmet. It always tasted so good and it still does to this day. I had my birthday here once and the service of the employees was great. This is where so many things come to die. I mean, I guess it's clean. Kinda. Sorta. Let's put this way, I don't see debris on the floor or smell anything funky, but I don't see anyone walking around cleaning either. We came in today for "sensory Sunday". (The first Sunday of the month from 9-11am they keep the lights lower, music off, etc for kids, like mine, with sensory issues). We got there at 10am and the teenage girl gave me an attitude and told me they don't open until 11. Chicka, I shouldn't be telling you your own store policies. I also dislike saying discussing my daughters SPD in front of her to avoid embarrassing her. Prices have really jumped since the last time we've been there, but what hasn't? That's not really their fault I guess. $27 for an hour of "play time" with the mouse just feels a bit extortionate, but what am I gonna do. I was already there and my kid wanted to run around in the kiddie AC. Perhaps a cocktail waitress could offer the children complimentary Shirley temples? Came here for my nephews party. Standard Chucky E Cheese, carpet, kids, pizza and Chuck E. However the staff was great. Our hostess went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable but on point with the flow of the event. The kids had fun and thats all that mattered. The adults had a decent spread of food also with wings, salad, fries and pizza. The layout was cool so you can see the kids even if you didn't want to be their shadow. Lastly they use the card system instead of actual coins which was convenient also. read more

Brought my little cousin here recently since the Chuck E Cheese in Union closed and not only did my cousin have a blast but so did my sister and I haha! My cousin is still little and from time to time my mom enjoys bringing him out to Chuck E Cheese since it's every kids favorite place to be. I've only been to the one in Union and this was our first time in the Edison location. This location has new and updated games which was really nice to see because not only did my cousin have so much fun but so did we. We ended up buying the one hour unlimited card which was about $22-$25 I believe which wasn't actually bad at all however I feel like we could've been there for another half hour or so since we were all having a blast LOL! The only downside was that my mom ordered the small pizza but we had no idea how small it actually was. It was kind of hysterical at how tiny this thing was AND it was pretty expensive too... Luckily my mom had ordered wings too but you definitely spend your money here more on the food than the actual games themselves. I also noticed how the points system here is rigged since now matter how much you score you still only get 7 tickets so you end up leaving with the tiniest prices that anyone can buy at the dollar store or 5 below. But besides that, I didn't really care much about the prizes because at the end of the day we all had a blast and I would definitely come back BUT probably will avoiding the food since it is costly! read more

Had a crazy experience here once. Haven't been back much since. Used to go all the time. Manager in charge accused me of stealing the salad bar. Her cashier forgot to hand me a special plate used for salad bar only. After that was cleared up by involving the cashier and pulling up the receipt, she continued to accuse me of trying to feed my whole family from my salad bar purchase. Only way to clear that was to bring her to my table and show her that my family was not eating salad. She harassed me for so hard and so long she kept giving me free tokens so I wouldn't get upset. I'm black by the way and she was Eastern European. Could tell by accent. I was saddened and quite traumatized by this experience. It's something I have to deal with often since my skin is dark. My birthday party for my girls was out of this world! The attentiveness of Barbara the party hostess was amazing! She was energetic, upbeat, and knowledgeable. Professional yet personable. Really helped me with a tough time I was having ( my father is in the hospital with covid). She helped make sure I would not stress at the party , my girls would have a blast, the friends would enjoy themselves , and to take that time to enjoy their birthday and she would handle everything. She did just that from talking party details when she called days prior to paying at the end she made every step easy. This place has great staff. Clean. Every ride worked as well as games. Again staff was great. Food was good. Chuck E came out and was wonderful with all the kids! The quality of everything was on point. The price was reasonable. This was the best party we have had for our girls granted they only turned 4&5 but still in the last 5 years doing a party each year this was the best one. My friends enjoyed it too! Usually parents dread birthdays but they said mine was a good time for all. I would do another party here and share with others about my positive experience. Until another birthday we will be back to play. Barbara deserves a raise! I'm telling you she is a great asset to the brand. The other managers on site during the party really helped make it wonderful. They helped if we needed it, were friendly, when I shared with them about my dad they had positive words to say to me. I understand it's CEC and the pizza is not going to be amazing, but our pizza was just terrible. $40 for pizza that was uneven in so many ways. Unevenly rolled out, unevenly cooked, uneven cheese, sauce, and toppings. Also, The pizza tray was still will wet from washing. When I complained to the person bringing the pizza about how bad it is, she was shocked and confused. With pizza like that, you must have experience dealing with complaints. This past weekend I went to this establishment to celebrate both of my nieces' birthdays. However, I was highly disappointed with the service, quality of the arcade machines, and overall cleanliness at this Chuck E Cheese. If you want crappy machines that don't work properly or hand out all the tickets you win then come on over to this Chuck E Cheese. Seriously? The whole point of going to this place is for the kids to enjoy themselves with these games. Why not maintain them properly? There was barely any staff on hand to clean up tables after patrons left or to man the cashier. The line at times looked like it was going to wrap around the place since there was only one person on the cashier. Where was everyone else? Who knows! Didn't need a case of food poisoning so we skipped that part. The games are cool but you can easily go through 50 bucks in less than 30 minutes. Everything about our experience was amazing! Our hostess, Shari, was attentive, VERY energetic, fun, and overall a pleasant person to work with. She ensured, due to the size of our party, that we had ample room (an initial concern of mine). The food was brought out promptly, was hot, and tasted very good. We can't thank her enough for making our son's 3rd birthday party an amazing experience! If my 6 year old nephew was rating this he would give it 5 stars. From a parents perspective this location met my expectations. Screaming kids running around, Chuck E Cheese made an appearance for the 4 birthday parties simultaneously happening and the smell of pizza filled the place. Clean and not that busy at 10am on a Saturday. By the time we left 90 mins later the place was packed. They no longer take coins (it's been a while since I've visited) so be prepared to get a card that you press against each machine to activate. The average machine gives you 4 tickets and the package we bought gave us 300 tickets. We skipped the food here and a $30 card was more then enough for a 6yr old to run wild, play every game his heart desired, cash out his 600 tickets and leave with candy and small items that are so not worth it. Sadly we have money left on the card so I will be forced to return. Ample parking. Look for coupons in the Sunday paper for a better deal than they offer you. read more

Our 3 year old son has been potty training for quite some time, and the only thing that would motivate him enough to do "the big one" on the potty was the promise of taking him to Chuck E. Cheese. He had never been before, but thanks to those Disney Jr. commercials, he had been asking for months. All he could talk about was how he wanted to high five Chuck E. When the big day finally came on Thursday, 1/22/15, we literally dropped everything, including the dinner at home we were just starting to prepare, and gleefully raced to Edison to celebrate. We kept talking about how Chuck E. would be so proud of him. It was approximately 6:00. We got there about 6:15pm, and learned that Chuck E. comes out every hour on the :30, so we thought we were just in time. There were several pre-recorded messages above the stage confirming that Chuck E. would be available for "hugs, photos, and free tickets". We ordered some food and eagerly waited. 6:30 came and went. Then 6:45. Then 7.... At 7:15 we asked someone and were told that Chuck E. came out every hour on the :30. We stated that he had not been out at 6:30 and the employee acted like we just asked him to explain nuclear physicists he was so dumbfounded. Our son had been enjoying himself playing games, but kept asking for Chuck E. He FINALLY came out at 7:30, and when kids started approaching him, he ran behind the prize counter and started shooing them away. Our son kept saying "Come here, Chuck E.! I want to hug you!" Chuck E. finally emerged, but all he would do is run around the perimeter of the restaurant while kids followed, and a fellow employee literally threw tickets at the children as if they were dogs. Our son followed, not so much caring about the tickets as he calling for Chuck E. eager to tell him about his potty victory and give him a high five. At the end of his sprint around the restaurant, Chuck E. literally ran to the staff door, despite being followed by several smaller children who just wanted to "meet" him and literally shut the door in their faces. My son was devastated and the rest of the night kept asking why Chuck E. walked away from him and why he didn't want to see him. But he was still extremely sad and it definitely put a damper on what was supposed to be a celebratory evening. We now have a sticker chart so that every 5th potty success, we go back to Chuck E. - but next time we will go to the Princeton location and hope for a better experience. To speak to the other aspects of the establishment, the wait for food was very long and did not seem right for how uncrowded the place was on a Friday. But the food was actually decent, I especially liked the cheesey bread. It's on par with what you'd expect at an arcade. And with the coupons we had, it was pretty reasonably priced. Our son enjoyed a lot of the games, I was worried most would be above his skill set, but it was mostly appropriate and he enjoyed that component. Kids review: Modern day arcade with a cat walk for kids. A 12 years and under indoor play ground, but the 3 to 7 yr olds luv it most. A franchise that offers pizza ( horrible pie , but what would you expect from an arcade) & typically a salad bar and other junk type food. No not a place to come and eat by any means. There's a large variety of current day arcade games including toddler type rides, shooting, wack em, air hockey, shooting hoops & skee ball all operated through tokens. Tickets are won at lots of the games that can submitted for kids prizes. Birthday group parties seem be taking place all the time. Strangely my sadistic side emerges as they announce Chuckies entrance, because every time some kid freaks out and starts screaming at the human sized mouse costume Lol. I'm compelled to race to the stage area, luckily being tall affords me the luxury of a hawk eye view for the inevitable scene. I know.... A great way to kill an hour or two. So far i am not impressed. There are 4 or 5 people at the registers, only one of which is handling customers. Another girl (looked Hispanic with bleached hair) motioned for people to come to her registered and then said with an attitude "ONE LINE", so WTH did she tell people to come over for? She then proceeded to jabber talk and laugh with the other ones, while the line grew. I ended up using the machine to buy points since the line wasnt moving.
