They were absolutely amazing for my sons 6th birthday party! It was the easiest party I've thrown yet. Booking was easy and flexible. The hosts (Steven and Jonathan) were great! Constantly checking in with me to see how things were going as well as interacting with the kids. I dropped off the cake and some themed decorations when we first got in, and the staff set up the room beautifully ! Best part is that it is ONLy your party in each room at a time. The kids LOVED both jump rooms! The variety of bouncy houses was nice. First room is 3 big slide style bouncies , plus a air hockey table. Second room was two obstacle courses , a standard bounce house with basketball hoops, plus a bunch of toys to play and build with. Both rooms had plenty of benches for parents to sit on. Pizza and juice was included for the kids , I had to purchase additional food & drinks for adults as well as water bottles. The kids will definitely need these water bottles with all the activity. The food comes from the Italian restaurant across the street and was very good. I got a small wrap platter and 3 cheese pies for 15 adults and it was perfect (even took a full pie home). While I highly recommend booking a birthday party here or maybe even scheduling a private play session with friends, I would not return for an open play session again. While the staff was just as great as at the party, the number of children in the rooms of various ages was way too overwhelming for me. This was our first experience with a place like this for my husband's coworker's daughter's 4th birthday party this past Saturday. It was allotted for two hours, and seemed to be enough space for 8-9 children to run around. As a safety professional myself, I appreciated that they actually played a safety video for everyone, children and parents included, to watch and take note. The staff were all fairly young, but would have to comment that there isn't much staff walking around and monitoring that children are playing safe and following the rules. Some children were too scared to come down on the inflatable slides, and parents (myself included) had to rescue their child to come down. There was no staff around the several times this took place, which was a little frustrating. The music is LOUD - parents had to almost yell to each other to have any kind of meaningful conversation. You had to talk very closely to get your point across. As another Yelper mentioned, a song would be playing one minute and then silence for another 3, and then a song would pop on. It was very disjointed. The songs were appropriate for the most part, so no complaints there. The music was LOUD, but that didn't bother me as much as the LED strobe lights flashing the whole time - in every room, even the party room for lunch. It's very overstimulating, and seems to be unnecessary since the whole experience is stimulating enough as it is. The play room #1 was much better than #2, where some toys meant for younger children, are clearly very dirty and/or very old and should be replaced. I also didn't understand why when you walk into the establishment, they have charge cards to play games, but when you go into the play rooms for the party, they want cash! What's the point of that? I just spent x-amount of money on a charge card that can only support the 4-5 "play until you win" crane games in the lobby? My son was bummed that I wasn't willing to give him cash to play these games since I had a charge card that was barely used. I will say that they food they offered was decent - the pizza was the right temperature, and they offered several rounds of seconds and thirds to adults and children. Apple juice, iced tea, and sprite were offered, and there was plenty for everyone. The party room was bright, clean, and spacious to have the kids play freeze dance and run around a bit until transitioning to end the party. I am motivated to go back when they have open play hours so we can use up his charge card, and to tire him out! read more

Nothing!!! Customer service was horrible. My husband and I were verbally assaulted by Danny and his sister Samantha Marge. Creating a very hostile and unsettling environment for my son's birthday party. My son's cake wasn't stored properly causing part of the cake to melt. While talking to my husband about it Danny rudely cut into our conversation creating a huge altercation. The area where the kids eat was disgusting. The floor had juice everywhere creating a sticky coat. There was balloons and from a previous party were popped all over the floor and another was hanging stringless from the ceiling. We had to as the staff to mop and remove the balloon that was hanging from the ceiling. We spoke with Nasir who said he was the general manager and he did absolutely nothing. Staff was rude to adults, obnoxious to the kids (my son was pushed and talked down to), had so many rules so I didn't even know if I could attend the restroom or get a napkin when my son had a bloody nose. We held my bosses sons 4th birthday party here two weeks ago, the kids had a great time and host and staff was wonderful but when it came to the food we were highly disappointed. I wanted to say that the pizza was already served on the plate and was stone cold and hard as a rock. The fruit salad was fermented and was tingling your mouth. The dip in the vegetable platter was bad and tasted awful. They only give you the option to do all the pitchers of one drink, we chose lemonade since we didn't want soda for the kids. No one touched it. There was so much pizza left over but no one wanted it since it was cold. For all the money you pay it is very disappointing. We called them afterwards since it was so chaotic when we were leaving and all they can say was they were surprised to hear this and they were sorry, but that was it. Today ,we went to a child's party at pump up . The place was an old car dealership turn into a kids paradise . They had a lot of rooms with giant blow up slides and games for the kids . They give the children plenty blow ups to pick from . The place appears very clean and they had hand sanitizer for the children and adults to uses . The only negative was they had pizza from a local place which was burned and tasted so bad . The bathroom were clean that always a plus . There was a lot of parking in the big lot . I came to this location tge other day for a birthday party.This particular location is kinda Wack. It didn't look as clean as the other locations I've been to. The music that gets played IS NOT KID music. It's vulgar music and I don't think it's appropriate for a child friendly establishment to be playing. Also the workers were fun and all but they were having a little too much fun in the play area. Which creates a liability. They still need to reinforce the rules for the children so they themselves don't get hurt which at the end of the day should be priority for the workers. The party room and the workers were fu. The games they played were cool and I enjoyed that part. I don't think I'll come back to this particular location unless I had to for a B-Day party. read more

Don't buy their jump passes. It's very restrictive and they don't tell you all the restrictions when you buy it. When I took my older son to jump, they wanted to charge full price for my 18-month old son (he doesn't even know how to jump). I promised them that I'll hold him inside. We just wanted to watch his older brother jump. But they refused and still wanted to charge him the full price. They also told me that other people were willing paid for kids smaller than my son. I truly believe they gave us the newest team members. The young lady was nice but was often left alone to do stuff by herself. NO ONE was controlling the music, it was often left silent because the song went off. I had to go to the front desk and the guy showed me how to control it. Ummmm that was their responsibility but at that point, I just did it. They forgot I had an ice cream cake and it had melted because I guess they didn't put it in the refrigerator. They cut the cake which took a lot of time instead of just passing out the cupcakes. So, I just helped out and started passing out cupcakes. I explained MULTIPLE times from speaking to the guy on the phone when they called to do the final party registration. I told it to the front desk clerk when I got there. They told me to tell the guys in the jump room whom was only with us in the jump room and disappeared. Then we had a whole different two team members in the final room who were clueless and I had to tell them AGAIN all over again. They only blew up three of the balloons and couldn't set it up correctly. Out of the kindness of our hearts we still tipped them WAY more than they deserved. My children love this place. As a parent, I would like to make a few suggestions. Pros: affordable pricing during the week (after school hours). Birthday Parties are well structured. The staff checks in with the Parents to ensure everyone is happy and all is going well. Cons: I am concerned with cleanliness. I always hear the staff say they clean the play area, but even after taking the last class of the night, I never see a cleaning staff. The carpets in the play area smelled like mildew and the jumping stations need to be upgraded/changed annually. We had Doc McStuffins at our birthday party. The costume gets 2 stars. She didn't even have a stethoscope. Suggestion: A smaller jump station would be nice for toddlers 3 and under. Or, have a session for ages 3 and under once a week. I just had my daughters 3rd birthday here, since I had done my sons birthday party at the pump it up in Secaucus 3 times, I thought the one in Roselle park would be a similar experience. In Secaucus, it was a wonderful experience, place was super clean and staff were absolutely fantastic but let me say that it is completely the opposite in Roselle park location. Omg, the place is Dirty, staff is just rude and horrible. Music is loud to the point where you can't speak cause no one will hear you. The staff are practically children who pay no attention at all and they just do as they please. They could be in the room a few seconds and gone for 5-10 minutes at a time. They will not allow parents to step foot on the rides not even to hold your child. My daughter had not even turned 3. She's a smaller toddler, very petite and so she needed help to climb and there was no staff around. The staff that were supposed to be at all times were 2 young teenage boys but like I said, they were in and out. This was a complete waste of my money. The party room was dirty, my daughter's socks went from bright pink to the dirtiest black disgusting color I've seen. Pizza was cold, room was ugly, most of the decorations that I brought was just put in a closet and not used which I found in the closet cause I stared looking for them. When I started looking for the balloon pump that I brought in, I found it also hidden in the closet. They tried to put an almost $90 tip on my bill that I would've gladly given if the service would've been at least good but it was beyond horrible. When I told the worker to remove it, she immediately changed her mood and just gave me a death stare. I would never recommend this place not even to an enemy. Stay away from this horrible, ugly, dirty place. Chucky cheese is a much better option. What I like: Clean Safe Fun Nice staff What I don't like: I will be the first to admit that this is a "personal problem" but I feel like I should share. My son is profoundly autistic and has had 8 brain surgeries. He loves to "bounce" so I have taken him to spots like this in the past. We came here one night in December for an "open bounce". We paid ($13.95) and sat down to wait with another family and the 4 kids with them. Within 20 minutes the waiting area was full of kids. Knowing what this environment can be like, I decided it wouldn't be safe for my son. I went to the reception desk - explained - and was quickly offered a pass to return in the future. I thought that was awesome and told anyone who would listen what an awesome thing they had done for me. I talked it up so much that my nephew is having his birthday here in 3 weeks. So why the negative review? Well, when I presented my pass this evening, I was told it has a max value of $10 and we had to pay an additional $3.95. We paid it because we feel it's worth it and $4 isn't going to break the bank - BUT - It left a sour taste and I'm writing this review on the principle of it all. read more

My daughter had her birthday party here yesterday. This is 1 of several times that we've held a party at this location and for the most part, it's been a good experience. Yesterday however wasn't. My son's nanny didn't inform me of this encounter until today because she didn't want to ruin my daughter's party. During the party room session, my son who's 3 and autistic went to the first party room with his nanny to get a break from the crowd and noise. He was walking around and playing with the toy machine. One of the workers who was in this room told our nanny that my son had to leave. She told him that he's autistic, he needs space and he's not leaving. This worker proceeded to grab my son's arm in an attempt to pull him from the lobby and my son jerked back and didn't move. Our nanny was furious but waited to tell me today and my son unfortunately is nonverbal for the most part so he can't tell me when he's assaulted. This employee should not be allowed to work with children whether they're special needs or not. To assault a child is inhumane. This employee should be terminated. They should also provide proper training to their current workers on customer service and how to treat children. I spoke with the owner Jim a few times today. First encounter, he literally told me after I stated that I've been there numerous times and haven't had a bad experience, that it doesn't matter and that he's been working there for 13 years and never experienced this. A total dismissal of my son's experience. He told me it could only be a woman there in the lobby during that time. In the end, he did say, he'd check footage and the schedule and let me know the update. His customer service however is disgraceful! I called back again to correct the location and he did say that he's looking into it and saw some footage hopefully with the correct location he'll identify who did this. My third call with Jim, he stated that he spoke to the employee and that the employee stated he didn't touch my son and that our nanny was rude to him. I told Jim, I'm not going back and forth with him and when will he check the cameras to confirm. He stated it may take a couple of days and proceeded to question the age and the credibility of my nanny because she works for me yet not once did he question his employee. His defensive aggressive behavior when I questioned him is shameful. He accused me of wanting to ruin someone's livelihood and I responded that I have no problem doing that when someone assaults my child. The cameras don't lie so I don't understand what the issue is in getting to the bottom of this. Regrettably, I will never step foot in this establishment again and I advise anyone reading this to not go there as well. Our kids should be treated with kindness and us parents should be treated with understanding when we have a complaint. read more

This place was great because they had a ton of open bounce times with themes. Meaning you can just bring your kids at a set time and they treat them all like a birthday party. 2 different rooms, great instructors, they danced with the kids, played games and more for 1.5 hours. Our 2.5 year old son loves this place. Lots of giant inflatables that are large enough for us to accompany him on for support (though we might enjoy them as much or more than he does). During open play events, they have two rooms where you spend 45 minutes each on 3-4 inflatables. It can sometimes be crowded, but it's a great indoor fun activity. I bought a 5 session pass online for $25. When I go to use it, there's a million restrictions. Then they give you a physical card and tell you they won't honor the sessions if you lose it or forget it at home. Terrible!!! We decide to go in anyway because we're already there and our child is excited. That single session costs $21 but it comes with a meal so we pay it. After playtime is over, we enter the eating area. There are rice crispy treats and fruit punch on the table. Bad idea putting the dessert out before the meal. We wait 5 minutes for the food, then 10, then 15. We ask when it will arrive but they can't give us an estimate so we leave. Really terrible experience. read more

Attended a birthday party at this location. Not sure the exact party package purchased but it went something like this. Before main doors open, a host explains to all the rules. Parents aren't allowed on the blow ups as they have workers there to assist. I didn't see not one worker jump in to assist any child. Having a worker for each blow up would be idle in avoiding pushing, cutting others or running over others. The floor was open to the party we attended plus the public. So expect more then just a handful of kids running everywhere and bumping into everyone. Totally recommend making it a private event when booking a party. Towards the end of the party, people were guided out and those in the party were guided into the party room. Party room was booked for thirty minutes. I recommend more then thirty mins in the party room as that's not sufficient time for pictures, pizza and cake. The servers were helpful and quick. Overall, I wouldn't attend this location for a public session. The safety of the kids was just too much for me. read more

I booked for open play about 2 hours before our allotted time for my kids. We had a family emergency and weren't able to come. I called to get refunded or get a credit for another day and was told there was nothing they can do, as they already had staff on site to provide for my extra 3 kids??? When I only booked 2 hours ahead of time. It's terrible that you won't give a credit for the possibility of future business, and you'd rather lose our business forever. Had our child's birthday party here. It was awesome, the staff is very nice and interact well with kids. The birthday boy was so excited and talked about how fun his party was for days. It is pretty pricey and everything is an add on but you can find coupons and at least there is no clean up, you can have fun too! Camp review: My daughter has attended camp here and had a horrible experience. Alot of bullying and when the camp councilors were informed they did nothing to rectify the situation. This has occurred constantly throughout the summer. Staff is uncaring and had no control. Also some are downright mean to the children. This morning walked in to drop off my child and not one adult was visible. All the children were sitting in the front room alone. Any one of them could have exited the building and no one would even realize it. Last time I will ever sign my daughter up for this camp. read more

We just had my daughter's 5th birthday party at PIU, Roselle Park. Super-Fun experience for everyone. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, helpful and most importantly great with kids of all ages. I totally recommend having a child's party there and would definately do it again myself. My one complaint would be that it is extremely pricey! In defense of the cost, as the parents you really don't have to do anything and you are free to completely enjoy your child's party with them. However, if you are on a budget there really is no way to cut the cost. read more

We just hosted our son's 6th birthday party here and had a wonderful experience. We had been to someone else's party the year prior and my son enjoyed the party so much he asked to have his next birthday here. With that said, my son's party was more fun than I remember the party we attended being. The staff were all very polite. Check in was easy. The play area hosts were fun and engaging. There was a girl that checked in with me in each room to make sure everything was ok and to give me short status updates of the party so I knew what to expect next. We decided to add the ninja package since the party was a ninja theme and everyone had a blast, from the kids to the parents. Everyone said that part was awesome and they had so much fun. When it came time for the party room, the girls hosting that part of the party did a wonderful job setting everything up. They were friendly and helpful. After the kids ate their pizza, they had a laser light freeze dance party. The children were constantly engaged and had smiles on their faces! They didn't want to leave. My 3 year old son slipped into another party's birthday room as the party he was with was transitioning from one play area to another and no one saw. The staff member I approached as soon as I realized my son was not in the room did not respond to me asking for help to find my son. It was as if I was lying about my kid not being in the room. She did not want to open the other party's door to look for my son because they were busy singing happy birthday in there. Finally, after I started to get loud and demanded she open the door, she did, and there my kid was. Ridiculous non response to a missing child. I will never go there again and will not recommend to anyone if this goes unaddressed. Edited 8/1 in response to James H.--Your staff member told me that there was "no way" my child got into the private party room and instead starting pointing out children that were a part of our party...as if I didn't know what my own kid looked like. No one communicated to me that staff was alerted. No action was taken by the staff. I was the only one looking for my child (I chose not to alarm the entire party at that point, did not want to disrupt and cause chaos at that point). If your protocol is to keep each party private, then your staff needs to do a better job ensuring one area is clear before allowing the next party to enter an area. My son slipped into that private party room while people were still entering, per your Facebook response, he didn't open the door and walk in. Since you clearly have your protocol and find no fault in how the situation was handled by your staff, all I can do is choose not to patronize your business. I will never return. read more

Cons: - The place is rather small for large groups. We had about 25 kids with parents and I felt the place got crowded. - It was a bit disorganized. Registration takes very long since every child and adult has to register. The lobby is very small and people are jostling for space when the registration is taking place. - The transition from one party room to the next could have been better organized. - I am pretty sure they promised us two helpers in the party room when food was being served but there was only 1 young woman. She was nice enough but obviously the service was slow with just one person trying to hand out cake to 40+ people. - They charged us 18% gratuity. This was never disclosed to us before during the course of reservations. read more
