Pretty decent for Chuck E. Cheese. They have several little kid rides and a couple different photo booths. All of the games we tried were working. Several attendants milling about to assist. The mouse himself came out once every hour and kids seemed to like that. Didn't try any food but they had a salad bar, pizza, cotton candy. Prizes were pretty mediocre. Took my 3 year old daughter on a Saturday afternoon. They had tons of parties and it was busy but we didn't have any issues trying the games we wanted to try. I got the card and paid for the time option, I thought it was really cool you can pay for time or credits . They had lots of games and cute little rides for the kids. My daughter loved the little sit on rides. We even got to see the mascot chuck e . This is a nice place to bring your kids but if you want it to be quiet definitely go during the week. read more

Only a place for children now... they serve beer for adults and yet can't allow a young adult to play the games, I only wish they could comprehend, especially when it's a slow day, that some of us bigger kids might like to be welcomed.... Compared to the Route 1 Chuck E Cheese, the Woodbridge location is a dream! It does not smell like weed and there are no kid fights and all of the parents are properly dressed. You can also have more than one beer here, which is needed in places like this. I've been here several times for children's birthday parties (without and with a little one) and I've actually had fun! The pizza is my favorite part, and they've actually improved on the recipe since I was a kid. Nothing gourmet or brick-fired, but it's a nostalgic treat. It actually reminds me of a non-greasier version of Pizza Hut. Chuck E and his gang has been updated for the cool kid set (he wears sneakers and a tee shirt now) and the band still plays on the stage every fifteen minutes or so. The animatronics are a bit terrifying, but the kids don't seem to mind. If you go later in the afternoon (they are open to ten, for those really crazy party animals) it's a little bit less crowded. They offer walk in for birthday parties (we rolled in 30 deep and basically had the whole party spot to a place) which will save you tons of dough if you're chill like that and don't need to reserve and send invitations in advance. My one wish is that they offer more allergy friendly food for GF and dairy free adults and kids. They want to have fun too! read more

My daughter got a personal pizza and a drink. I got those 8 wings and a beer. The bill was just over $36. The wings were good nonetheless. Hit or miss in regard to toddler enjoyment. This location has a toddler area, but frequently there are large groups of 15-20 unsupervised 6-10 year olds with traveling day cares there that are too rough for a toddler. We spent ten minutes in the toddler area today with children too large for the toddler toys screaming and running though the area pushing my child and there was no supervision of the daycare's behalf and management didn't care. Heard my. Hold was hurt and it was 8 minutes before anybody was able to help get her after the group was pushing and shoving through the tunnels. The whole structure was shaking due to the children's size, rough play, and quantity. Updated: we have had more peaceful enjoyable visits since the last review. The staff have been friendly and accommodating. We enjoy all of our visits. Of course, it could be a lot cleaner. Not sure I can expect that though, considering it's a kid play space. read more

Chuck E. Cheese destroyed my chronically ill son's 6th Birthday Party. First they couldn't find our reservation. After I provided the general manager, Isis, with proof of our down payment to hold the reservation she very rudely insinuated that it was still somehow our fault that the reservation wasn't showing up in the system and because my bank statement showed the $50 deposit as being made to CEC in Irvine Texas (The Chuck E Cheese HQ) she somehow concluded that I must've accidentally reserved a party in Texas instead of Woodbridge Va.. I guess she didn't realize that all online reservations will show up as having been made thru the HQ in TX. So by this time our party guests had all shown up and with no where for them to be seated and in the midst of total chaos I decided to just go purchase Play cards for the kids to start playing games while we fig'd out how to handle the situation. The manager then comes back to let me know in so many words that even though I was the one that screwed up the reservation she was going to be kind enough to allow us to have our party there any way. The time it took to just get seated greatly cut into our party time and don't forget I already had to buy the kids tokens myself in addition to the ones that were supposed to be included with the cost of the party. There was no apology or offering of any type of compensation. Several of our guests didn't even stay for the party due to the confusion and chaos. We were so busy stressing out that we couldn't greet the guests who did arrive. Some of the guests who showed up & asked for our party were turned away because our party "didn't exist" in their system. To make matters worse, my son has a rare auto-inflammatory disease that can be aggravated in extremely stressful situations so this actually caused him to flare up. Now, even under normal circumstances I would've been upset but having a child who is already sick and in pain often and seeing them go from happy & excited to having a system-wide auto inflammatory response all because of a manager who mishandled a situation that could've very easily been made better just really gets under my skin. The manager should've immediately apologized and offered to get the kids tokens so that they could start playing while they figured out how they would get us all seated and get our party started. She could have offered to reimburse me for having to buy those tokens but she did not. In fact she did nothing but continue throughout the entire party to passively accuse us of not really having a party reserved, not really paying for the deposit (even after showing proof.) It was like a nightmare & the entire time from arrival to departure if just kept getting worse & worse. We had other disabled guests who didn't have anywhere to sit down and after having to stand for a prolonged period of time they ended up leaving before the party was over as well. I could go on & on about how horrible the actual "party" ended up but my biggest complaint is with the General Manager (Isis) because I have had numerous Chuck E Cheese parties that turned out amazing so it isn't fair to blame the whole establishment when it was probably just a glitch in the system but how it was handled thereafter was just terrible. So at the end of the party I was expecting some form of compensation, like maybe 10% off or something, anything really! They could've given the kids extra tokens to make up for the ones I had to purchase, or offered our adult guests free beverages.. but nothing was done to make this situation better. So, I asked the manager if she would be willing to provide us with a small discount on the $280 tab. She then offered to take $50 off the bill. I was okay with that and thanked her and payed the balance and left. I later realized after reviewing the receipt that she did not take a single dollar off of our tab but instead applied the $50 deposit I had made online to the new receipt making it appear to come out $50 cheaper. That was the icing on the cake for me. I have now filed a report with the corporate HQ and I am seeking to receive a full refund. read more

I used to think that Chuck E. Cheese was one of the dirtiest and most stressful places to take children. My mom convinced me to take my three kids here as a midday treat and I'm glad she did. We went on a Wednesday in the early afternoon, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too crowded. As we entered, a worker stamped our hands to insure that we would leave with the correct children. I was surprised once again - this time by how clean it was. Having three kids, ages 4 and under, I am very well aware that kids' restaurants and play places can get quite messy, but it was very well maintained. We purchased $20 worth of game credits and expected the kids to spend it quickly. These credits lasted us almost two hours. I really liked that each game or ride was only 1 credit each. I felt like we got a much better deal than we would at Dave and Busters. Most of the games were kid friendly, and even my 1 year old got into the fun. We didn't win many tickets, and the tickets didn't buy much, but the kids had a blast and we could have stayed all afternoon. I didn't try the food, maybe one day I'll be brave enough to indulge in kiddie junk food. Overall, my kids had a blast, the adults enjoyed themselves, and we did it all with spending only $20. Staff is extremly friendly which is great. Food is edible and similar to McDonald's standards. The singing robots are so outdated its creepy. They open their mouths to talk without it being their turn or they keep going when one word is said like a bad marial arts film. . They blink one eye at a time which presents in canial nerve damage. This Chuck E Cheese wowed me. I went for a birthday on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy in there but not overwhelming so. My kid may have had to wait for one person max before she got to have her turn on a ride or game. The rides were working and printers were kept filled. It was well kept and the employees were great. Good attitudes.. the one person who wasn't that great worked the front door but maybe she was overwhelmed. They ran the birthday area well and kept the kids entertained. my kid LOVES this place! I do like how they stamp your hand to let you and your kiddo in to make sure you don't leave with the wrong kid. They sell dipping dots and cotton candy. not to mention, it has a sweet ice cream machine as well. we go weeknights to avoid the crazy crowds. The salad bar isn't half bad. Same with the soda selection. I want to say it's pepsi products. The food is well... geared towards kids. The wings weren't crispy at all. The new chocolate chip cookie pizza is really good. OH- and they have beer on tap. ok, so it's bud and bud light and shock top, but still better than nothing! The games are fun. Great staff! The management here obviously cares about the experience of their customers and it shows! The food is what you would expect, designed for the palates of kids. The extras offered for those of us who are celebrating a child's birthday informally are convenient and very special to the children. I can't remember the last time a game ate a token here (maybe never?) and the restrooms are always clean. We usually go during weekdays, early, so I don't know what it feels like when busy. I've been here with my daughter a few times and is overall a good experience but with some caveats. The food is well priced but not something I ever want to experience again. If you're looking for quick cheap fare it's fine. The games are priced well so for 10 bucks your kid can have the run of the place. The security is nice some parents are annoyed by having someone at the entrance checking on them but I love the fact they have a system in place to keep strangers from walking off with kids. Other than the food, which is to be expected, my gripe is the out of service games. Each trip here there are a decent handful of games not working. They are usually marked as such which mitigates the issue somewhat but we always seem to stumble on a game or two that hasn't been marked yet and eats our tokens. read more

I grew up going to this location as a kid and now I bring my own child here. They have improved a great deal from when I was a kid. The place has the appearance of being clean and someone goes around often to pick up anything that may have been dropped or spilled. The majority of the time nearly all of the games work with only one or two occasionally being down. I cannot speak on the conditions inside the play tubes because I haven't inspected them lately. I can saw that customer service here is sometimes spotty. You might come in on a day where the customer service is spot on, and you may encounter them when they are having an off day. My main issue with this place is the ticket counter. It is horrifyingly unorganized and understaffed during busy times. The best time to come here is during non peak hours if you can manage. If not then luck be with you once you reach that ticket counter. read more

I am not a big fan of Chuck E Cheese in any city. I have been to several locations across the US and this is one of the better ones. Obviously Saturdays are a nightmare, but we went on a Tuesday afternoon during the summer and it wasn't very packed. It doesn't compare to Incredible Pizza in San Antonio or Pistol Pete's in Albuquerque.....but it's a million times better than the Chuck E. Cheese locations in South San Francisco. Loved how this place watched after my child. My mother took my daughter and had their hands stamped on the way in. For some reason, my mothers stamp wore out while in the restaurant and did not show up under the lighting when she was trying to leave. The person checking the stamps would not let them leave and I think called the manager over. My mother was able to prove her relationship with my daughter and then they were able to leave. Both my mother and I are grateful this control was in place to prevent people walking out with kids that do not belong to them. read more

Chuck E. Cheese's is what it is. If you go there you should know what you are getting into. There are kids, pizza and videogames. This location did a good job. They had plenty of staff, good security to prevent kidnapping, and fast delivery of food. Also they handled a party well. They have good value ... every game is one token. If they need to improve they should get more people checking for problems with machines and walking around just making sure everyone is having a good time. read more

It's Chuck E. Cheese, and if you're reading this review, you know what that's about. We come here every other month or so, as a treat for my preschooler. The manager is wonderful-he welcomed us in, and made sure we knew that certain games were being "maintained" but would be available soon. When another patron took my son's cup of tokens and tickets, the manager did not hesitate to give us new tokens, which really saved the day for my child. THANK YOU!!!! They offer a gluten free pizza, (which is edible and inexpensive, so it's probably on par with the regular Chuck E. Cheese food) which is cooked in it's own sealed bag, and used to be served with a specially designated "gluten free" pizza cutter, although last time we had to saw through the pizza with a plastic knife, so that was disappointing for my son who was really expecting the special pizza cutter. We have only come here early on a weekday, so I expect it gets pretty crowded after school and on weekends. Oh, and they changed their hours-they now open at 11am instead of 10am. Overall, it's a decent option for a cold day. read more
