We've been to many wine and designs and paint with a twists. I loved Muse Paintbar so much more! The options for paintings to choose from were definitely more my element. They are fun, beautiful, and colorful! The instructors speak through a Mic so everyone can hear, walk you through step by step, and give you ample amount of time to complete your painting. I also love all the options for drinks and snacks. We enjoyed high noons and the mediterranean platter.

I like the idea and setup of this. You go in and paint with an instructor. Something was a bit off when we did it, either we weren't getting the instructions or we weren't following them, but the paintings weren't great. When we have done this in the past they were a lot more consistent. I liked the Louden location. I might try the Fairfax one.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. My friend and I went her last week October 23rd Wednesday. The instructor Sammie was sweet and friendly attentive to everyone and gave several painting tips and detailed instruction throughout the evening. All was very organized. She received us with a friendly smile upon entering asked for the name of the reserving party and walked us to our station. She explained how it all worked and detailed the lay of the land. We ordered a few beverages and appetizers : pizza and chicken bites both were delish. There were 8 people total that night. Music was played while we painted and overall was an epic evening. I highly recommend this place.

My daughter and I had a great time at the Woodbridge Muse paintbar! We love the Lumify in the class, which helped us outline our Grinch characters and made painting relaxing and fun! The drinks and popcorn were great, and our instructor, Taylor, was helpful and explained and demonstrated painting techniques well, making it easy to follow along! We will definitely be returning and look forward to painting more at this location! Thank you.

I came here with my parents and sister for my Mother's Birthday and I will say my parents had an amazing time, as did my sister and I. It is a perfect event for a family night out or girls night out if you like guided painting sessions or have never done it before. Maybe it's not for a really experienced painter, however. The guide was energetic and helpful. She gave helpful tips along the way and articulated the steps clearly. All of our paintings came out nicely and we are novices. Parking: there is street parking in front and lot parking in the back; it is all free. Food and drinks: I would recommend eating before or after as I thought the food and drinks were pricey and nothing special. My mom and sister did order drinks though but they were definitely overpriced and came in plastic non-stemmed wine cups that you could get from target/Walmart/dollar store. The food seemed like typical frozen eats. They provide everything you need so just come happy and ready to paint! Wear some clothes you don't mind getting dirty just in case paint gets on it.

My boyfriend surprised me with a valentine's date night to this location and I was so excited to attend! I have been to paint and sips before but it was his first time. When we arrived, we were met with a large crowd, which I understood because of the holiday. However, I will say, the staff was not adequately prepared for such a large turn out...The hostess was scattered trying to get everyone check in and seated. One of the waitresses was clearly overwhelmed and had a terrible attitude with other visitors at my table, and it made me very uncomfortable. The kitchen ran out of certain items on the menu, so we didn't order any food or drinks. I will say the artist up front was great! She was patient with the crowd, talked slowly, and kept us laughing and engaged. Overall it was just an OK visit. I would visit again but definitely on a slower night!

I went in September of 2020. Made a reservation in advance and walked in and chose the seating. 6 ft distancing was unavailable due to the lack of space of the bar which was my only concern when eating and drinking since it was a packed painting session. The painting session was a little fast paced but understandable due to the allotted time limit we had for that session. The instructor was enthusiastic and explained how to paint very well. Muse also allows people to be more creative and add extra eccentric colors into your painting if you decide to do so. I will say that it is worth the social experience however you can always buy a canvas and use paper plates to squirt some paint and start painting from home as well. And buy a disposable plastic apron at dollar tree. Also the reusable aprons are a bit on the pricey side but if you're a regular I think they could be worth it. I would recommend the mozzarella sticks because they are worth it and the wine is cheap! Overall good experience.

My wife and I went to Muse for a valentines date. Our first painting adventure was a blast. The staff were very friendly and the environment was fun. Even though the session was completely full the instructor kept everyone on track. Everything was provided. We will go again.

Booked on a whim, the same day, just a few hours prior! Book online to save 15% on your first booking!! Also, check online to see which paintings will be featured that night. I was definitely satisfied with my experience. They made me feel like Picasso! Both the lead instructor and assistant were lively and fun to take the class with. The bar is open all night with reasonable prices. The drinks are fine, but a word of advice...EAT before you come lol The food is not that great...at all. But what do you expect! It's paint and sip! Not paint and eat lol

The boyfriend wanted to surprise me with an early Valentine's Day present. He lead me to Muse and I shook my head with so much disappointment because... I too booked a painting session on actual Valentine's Day. I guess great minds just think alike LOL. Let's talk food: I had no expectations. I kind of accepted that their food would suck and I was purely here to release my inner artist. Shockingly, the food was amazing! Everything we had there was seasoned perfectly, and holy cow don't get me started on the breading on the chicken and mozzarella sticks... thin, crispy, and cooked to a perfect shade of golden brown. The experience: I had so much fun learning how to paint. Honestly, I don't know how our instructor made it look so effortless. She was so sweet and helpful. I loved that she was patient and let us take our time painting. I will absolutely come back with more friends and family! Well, my boyfriend and I have a bet on who could sell the paintings for more on ebay. *inserts smug face and points to myself* Just go to Muse, no ragrets.

What a fun event to try with my family around the holidays. I have been to a Muse Paintbar in the Hampton Roads area and had a wonderful experience. This experience was no different. If you aren't too familiar with Muse, then let me drop a bit of knowledge on ya! You pretty much pay to paint, eat, and drink. I am totally down for it & you will be too. There's a set price per painting that includes the canvas, paint, and your masterpiece once completed. You do have to pay extra for food and drinks though. The cost to paint ranges anywhere from $30-$40. It really depends on the painting itself and the day of the week you go. They do offer "a free drink" if you sign up for specific paintings! Take advantage of this. You start out by placing your coats, sweaters, etc on the back wall. Next you grab an apron to protect your clothes. I would highly suggest wearing something that you don't mind getting paint on. Once it's on there, it will NOT come off. Next you go find your place and wait for the instructor to begin. Once you start painting, everything is done in steps. At first, it may appear that your masterpiece looks like a big blob but it will look like the finished product as the session goes on! The instructor usually takes several breaks and one staff member is walking around to assist painters as he or she moves along. All in all, it takes about 2 hours to finish your painting. After your masterpiece is to your perfection, you get to take it home! I have to admit that my collection has grown over the years. It's a great way to spend time with family/friends and to do something different. Another plus is that they do offer paintings for special events. If you are thinking of hosting a work party, baby shower, bridal shower, just about any kind of party then they have the space for it. One section of the building is completely blocked off to accommodate large groups. I will definitely be returning. The 4 star review vs a 5 has to do with the instructor. I felt during my session that she wasn't as thrilled to be teaching. At times, it felt rushed to get to the next step. Other than that, my family and I had a great time. Check them out if you are in the area.

Me and hubby celebrated our Valentine's day here. We did the couples paint night and had the best time! We went to the Mosaic location multiple times and its always been great! Neither me or hubby are artsy ppl yet the instructors are very helpful and clear. Our instructor Kira was very sweet and patiently walked us step by step thru the painting. They also have the staff walking around to help us. They also beer and wine at reasonable price and finger foods. Keep up the good work!

The event I attended was a 21+, comedy and 90's and 2000's music night for $25, with the option to purchase wine, beer, soft drinks, and bar bites for an additional price. I had 2 glasses of wine, and my friend had 2 soft drinks and the total was under $20. The $25 was a sale price, and according to the website it appears that normally, tickets to events are $40 for adults which is typical for a paint and sip studio. The event lasted from 9pm to 11:30pm. A great date night or girls night idea! As I walked in, I immediately felt welcomed. There were many people there of all ages, and genders. And the music created a really chill and fun vibe. The studio was beautifully decorated with black art, created by local artists. These art pieces are also available for purchase. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and professional. The owner was so patient and I can tell she is really passionate about art and bringing people together to have a good time! It is still a very new business, so there definitely are some small kinks that could be worked out, but that is to be expected. My only small complaint about this event was that although it was a good idea in theory, it kind of was hard to focus on the comedians and paint at the same time. It also was a bit hard to hear the comedians because many people were talking during their sets. All in all, I had a GREAT time, and will definitely be returning.

I have been to several paint nights and have even left in tears from one of those... that was not the case with Creative Mankind. This company travels around to different venues and offers a variety of painting options. I met up with a group of friends and we painted a Mardi Gras themed picture. Right off the bat I knew it was going to be an awesome experience. We were greeted with upbeat music and beads to celebrate the occasion. Our instructor really put a lot of thought and passion into the class ahead of time. Laying on the canvas was a template of the mask we needed to transfer to our painting. She let us know that we could "go rogue" and change up the colors and skip the sketching parts but I am way not that talented! She had one completed painting on an easel and another blank canvas for demonstration up on an elevated easel. It was visible to everyone in the room without having to stand up. She was extremely accommodating as far as time given for each step, which I really appreciated! It was fun how she would tell us how many songs she would play for us to finish each step... "okay you have two songs to do this step!" There was an assistant who walked around and offered advice and guidance which was helpful. Creative Mankind had partnered with a restaurant that offered drink specials and happy hour pricing for apps! The restaurant provided a dedicated server to us which was a nice touch. And huzzah... my painting actually looked a lot like the sample! Which for me is a huge deal because I am really not artistic or creative with paint. We were all encouraged along the way and our confidence was bolstered by telling us that everyone is an artist but we express our artistry in different ways. I was with a party of six and all of our paintings turned out different and reflected our personalities. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Creative Mankind for any event they host.
