Everything tastes very average here, some dishes even worse than that. I don't get the love for bland buffet food this state has. At this above average price point, there is much fresher and more flavorful cooking to be experienced in Logan. Settling on Chuck-A-Rama is so depressing. A fairly good buffet, but not consistent in quality. My favorite thing on Friday is the creamed seafood sauce over rice, and today The sauce was yellow and runny, not very appetizing. The roll's are always cold, they have been sitting out to long. Nothing better than a nice hot roll with your dinner. I think I've given up on Chuck a rama for a while! read more

The place, food, and service are as good as they can get in a Chuck-a-Rama. Very clean even though it was quite full. I almost didn't come base on some of the comments but I am glad I came. Good Job, my family and I were very pleased. read more

As far as buffets go in town here, probably the best priced with the best quality food and the friendliest staff that I've been to. Definitely a place to go to if you like my face, or have a big family even. They can do company parties as well. When my parents are in town we'll usually go out there. read more

Now everyone has had a moment where they were so hungry that they are willing to eat anything, am I right? Well I suggest not making Chuck-A-Rama an option. I had one of these experiences recently and I do not know if it was just the location or the possibility of building the food up in my head, either way it did not live up to expectations. I would give this place zero stars but the waitress was nice and made sure I was alright frequently so she earned the restaurant a star. Now I am sure you are wondering, what is so terrible about this place? Well the number one thing a restaurant should be good for, the food. The options were limited around dinner time (you would think the busiest time of the day), the food tasted stale, and overall the food just made my taste buds wanna scrape themselves out. Personally I rather watch another terrible installment of Spider Man starring Tobey Maguire than eat here ever again but the choice is yours. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants but the management is horrible. The General Manager Brad Peterson treated my husband and I like garbage by accusing us of stealing. When I proved that was untrue by showing him the spot he said we were stealing food, he just continued to treat us like garbage instead of apologizing. When I contacted the main headquarters about this, they avoided us for several weeks and finally told us they think he did nothing wrong. Not even an apology!! Unbelievable. I was told by several other sources that this manager has mistreated people many times. I guess Chuck-A-Rama thinks they have enough customer base that they don't concern themselves with customer service. Good luck here. read more

At Chuck-A-Rama the staff is very nice and they attend to all of your needs whether it be drinks or straws. The atmosphere inside is very family friendly and you are separated from the others that you are eating around. After you get settled into your seat you go into the buffet room where it's very open and you can easily see all of your food choices. There are salads, meats, deserts, appetizers and much more. There is no way to describe the smell...especially when your hungry. Your mouth instantly starts to yearn for the food and your stomach wants to be full. The foods are the best quality, you can easily tell that it just got out of the kitchen and there is a diversity in the foods every time you go. They have had a different special every time I have gone there. They have a large selection of drinks and you can have as many refills as you want in the time that you are there. The area is very clean and you can feel comforted in knowing that your eating space is sanitary. Since it is a buffet you are mostly your own service and you can decide how fast you want to go... you can be in and out in whatever time you want. The prices are a lot more than many fast food joints around town but for the selection of freshly cooked food I guess it's pretty good. Chuck-A-Rama is definitely the best choice of restaurant if you are looking to eat out in Logan. read more

We think this is the best buffet in the area. It's great for a diverse group. No hassles over food types, ordering, etc. And where else can you get your fill of a variety of vegetables, when that's your mood? The food is really good if you stick with simple items. Don't expect fantastic ethnic food at a buffet, but their fried chicken, turkey pot roast, potatoes mashed or fried, soups and salads are as good as any in town. They are busy, so items stay fresh. Just choose wisely. The servers are always helpful, if you want help. The widest choice of drinks in town is included in the tab, and two dessert bars. They have discounts for seniors, kids and vets. read more

Went here with a large family party. I don't know why because they were not very busy but we ended up in 5 or 6 booths along the side of a room, okay but kind of odd. I was sitting with 2 other people when someone else in our large group came to sit with us for a while. Since we were all in booths, if we wanted to socialize we had to move around a bit. The waitress had brought drinks to everyone else so I asked her for a drink of water. When she brought it she asked if I had a receipt. When I reached for the tickets on the table to find mine, she said there were only 3, but 4 people sitting there. The person who came to sit with us told the waitress her ticket was at the booth where she was sitting before. (Now this waitress had helped us with the table when we first came in & saw my ticket then, and I would have been happy to show her the transaction from my bank on my phone.) We were all very nice to her, but she just frowned at me and walked off. She returned once and cleared everyone's plates but mine & then never came back. I don't know what I did wrong, but I was extremely uncomfortable & we left shortly after. I had a little bit of salad and water, for which I PAID $11.00 + tax & for the first time in my life I didn't leave a tip. None of us will be back, & I will make sure none of the dinners I plan for home or work will be ever be here. Why would I return to such an uncomfortable place? Paying attention and hospitality are skills that make or break a restaurant, and this place is in desperate need of training. It's too bad, when my grandmother was alive she loved this place because they were so kind to her, but that was a few years ago. Some restaurants just stop trying. read more
