We live near the Papa Noel location and I figured I'd give it a try. Their site says the best trees are selected for online purchase and delivery. So, I'm an effort to bring some surprise and joy to my kids this past week, I happily paid $282 for a 7ft tree! The young man that delivered looked like Harry Potter and was sweet to my kids. I tipped him separately on Venmo. The tree however is horrendous. 1/3 of the tree is missing all branches, some of the high branches snapped and broken. I could go on. Papa Noel doesn't make an effort to make good in these situations. The solutions they provided were unacceptable, where I'd lose money either way. We finally got to the point they'd issue a refund if I found a way to personally load up the tree and return it to Oak Hill. With my last option being they'd come pick it up, days later, and refund the tree but not the originally delivered. I finally agreed to this. But my kids had other plans and wanted ornaments up. So here I am with a $300 waste of money. But hey, my kids are ok. I use Brungot Farms up north for my projects and their experience is incredible. They ensure the highest quality trees. Their delivery is twice the price, but they come with a professional truck, three men, blow out the tree, trim the base, trim the branches, set it up and water it! And they stand behind their product and customer experience. I blew it on this choice. I should have known better.

If you ever need appliances, to buy or just to educate yourself and see them in person, go to the Sunset Valley location and ask for Alfredo !!! He spent over an hour with us, even after we shared that we'd be buying everything in Washington, DC, where our other house is, so no commission for him. He didn't mind. He was SO knowledgable! I also got my favorite terracotta colored Panama hat from here -- it actually wasn't available at this location but was on clearance and they had an option to ship to this location/pick up for no extra charge so that's what I did and had no issues! And because this world market is inside a big outdoor shopping center (sunset valley village), there is always plenty of parking. They've always been discounted even if it's just 10% plus it doesn't matter if we get dirt and soil in our car. Even though the bags were wrapped in plastic, and had been clearly opened or torn, she refused to honour this saying not enough of the soil had come out for her to honour it.! Her treatment of us was rude and inconsiderate.

We set up our Christmas tree after our Thanksgiving Dinner. My husband removed the tree from the box piece by piece. He spread out the tree limbs so that it would look more full. Once all of the ornaments and the star were put on the tree it looked really good. I recommend going there to check out the holiday decorations as there is a wide variety of items to choose from.
