We hired Craig and the crew of Can You Hang this year to hang our holiday lights for the first time, and could not be happier! Craig promptly replied to my very first text, answered all of my questions, swung by our house the very same day to give us an accurate estimate, and was super-professional and helpful throughout the entire (easy) process! When it was our installation day/time, again they were prompt and professional, and so patient with us being first-time outdoor light users! (We'd never used a timer before, etc., and they were super-patient and helpful explaining everything to us.) A few days after installation it poured rain here in Lakeway, and we had a minor issue with one of our timers-- Craig texted me *instantly* and walked me through the super-easy process of fixing it over the phone (it had gotten wet due to our long grass and I needed to reset the time.) We found Can you Hang? on YELP, and quickly set up a meeting for a quote from Craig Robertson. After meeting him and getting the pricing, we agreed to have him install warm white LED's on the roofline of our house. Our house has a steep driveway and is two stories, with no easy roof access -- so we would never attempt to install lights ourselves. Craig showed up on time, and his crew quickly installed the lights. They included a timer, so no work for us turning switches on and off. About two weeks later, fortunately after the party that we hosted which was the reason for spiffing up the Christmas curb appeal, a portion of the lights came undone due to high wind. Craig was responsive, and has his crew out the next day - in under 24 hours - to reattach the lights that were undone. The crew will return in January 2019 to remove the lights for us to store till a reinstall next season. Great experience. Craig and his crew are great! They always call and schedule before I'm even thinking about Christmas! The first year I had an idea of what I wanted and then he made suggestions to make it even better! We've used them for several years and I still love the original plan every time. First year is a little pricey bc you're buying all the lights. However, they custom size them to your house with the colors you choose and then you use the same lights every year. They fix/replace what's necessary each year. They also include a timer and set it up for you. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but it feels great when you leave in the morning and then you come home and lights are beautiful and done! After Christmas, Craig and his crew magically appear and the lights are down and carefully wrapped up and stored in my plastic bin until next year. In general, I'm a "do-it-myself" kind of person. This is definitely a "splurge" for me, but well worth it!! read more

We've used Craig and his team for the last three years for holiday lighting and are very pleased. I had been using another company but was not super impressed, so after doing research I chose Can You Hang?. Craig is a pleasure to communicate with, always responding promptly, and the team is great too. Craig lets me know when they'll arrive so I can leave the lights out for them, then we discuss what we want to do (same as last year or something different). They figure out what/how many timers are needed and set those. After the holidays they show up to take everything down and box the lights -- easy! From my 1st impression of Craig on the phone all the way through the final project, Craig was communicative, consultative, and most importantly did an amazing job! We agreed upon an approach for my Holiday lights, areas around the house, structures, tree, and fence that we thought lights would work well and he immediately provided an initial budget guideline that turned out to be very accurate. Craig was absolutely above and beyond nice and awesome. We had him do some other big projects a few years ago and in Oct, he saw my wife at the grocery store. Out of the blue, he said he wanted to put up our Christmas lights for free this year as a THANK YOU for the business a few years ago!!! Yep, that's right. He didn't have to but offered it anyway. Of course we accepted and in two weeks his guys did a FANTASTIC job putting up our Lights. We have a very high two story house and they knocked it out in under an hour. We have been using Craig and his group for at least 4-5 years now. They do a great job!! They are very professional and get the job done to my satisfaction in a very timely manner. Each year Craig will contact me and set up a time/day to hang the lights. I put the lights out on that day and his guys do the job and I sometimes never even know they were here. Once the holiday season is over, they remove the lights and any cords and place them all neatly on my front porch to be stored for the next year. "Can You Hang" for our holiday lighting needs has been a pleasurable experience for over 5 years. The owner, Craig Robinson, will schedule your lighting and keeps it for the install and the removal of the lights. This year he was able to change up the design for our oaks in our front lawn. We have trees on both sides of our driveway with a fork. They install all matching trees and use custom designs and the cords never tangle. I've used Craig's team for many years. They make it so simple. He'll call you a couple days ahead and all you need to do is leave the lights out. You come home and everything is strung up. They program the timers and you're all set. They will usually replace any burnt out bulbs that didn't last the summer in the attic.
