Aside from the obvious - that it shows how organized and serious AHL is about taking care of our holiday lighting needs - it's the best reminder that cool, festive, bright and family fun days are ever near. In a word, the quality of their service and the quality of their product is what makes them the clear winner in the holiday lighting market. Shine on, y'all, and have a merry holiday season!

After moving into a new house this year and having one too many contracts for things the builder…read morecan't do for you, it finally came time to deal with Christmas lights. We originally approached H&L as a soffit lighting company. Austin was able to schedule with us on short notice to show product and discuss mounting. He provided everything we needed to start the application process. Unfortunately, at the site visit, we realized there was a placement issue that needed clarification with our HOA. We quickly realized the odds were against us completing the soffit lighting project in time for Christmas due to delays built into the application process and the inability to ascertain specific design information from our HOA. H&L had absolutely no problem pivoting and down-selling temporary, seasonal lighting to keep us from being the sad trombone house on our street. We inked an agreement over the weekend and made a deposit. Peter and Shae were out bright and early on a freezing Monday morning. Lights were up in no-time at all. We had a last minute add to do a short 3' wrap around the sides of the house, which they accommodated without complaint. Ultimately, we got the same deal H&L offers every client, which locks a 3 year reinstall/take-down price and includes off-season storage of our lights. We found the total package price to be very affordable. Most of all, it saved my wife needless worry over my ladder acrobatics. The best thing I can say is, of the half-dozen or so contractors we've had work on projects here, H&L was the superstar in approachability, terms, pricing, and actual on-the-job performance. They are indeed welcome back to our house anytime. Don't hesitate. Pick up the phone now and let Austin, Peter, and Shae make your Christmas bright.

Working with him was a pleasant experience since he was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and customer oriented. After understanding our desired plan, he installed demo lights and showed how we could "play" with them to decide if they would work for us. We finalized the lighting plan based on the demo, and after evaluating another option. Mark was supportive during this entire process; we could clearly see he wanted us to be happy. The technician, Tino, that did the installation work was also professional, competent, and very willing to make adjustments as needed. We have had the lights now for a week and are happy with the price and performance. We highly recommend them!

The quality of work was good and I felt like we paid a more than fair price, but when we asked Lavern to come back he scheduled time and missed appointments again and again and now just doesn't reply, so I guess I have to move on to another service that will show up and return calls. 3 stars because if you get them they'll do good work, but not returning messages and no shows are almost as bad as not doing the work at all. We've had our fun with contractors and various people but we are very happy with the work Lavern and Antonio completed yesterday. I had a laundry list that I was given a fair quote for, and as things go, by the time they got here the how and what had changed a little bit but Lavern and Antonio knocked it all out.
