Westin has been doing our lawn care for a year. H e is a great guy, always works with us on the timing. His work is top notc!!!

I would like to say above all customer service was literally the best I have ever received in my 44 yrs of life. I requested lighting and had some communication issues and my fault misunderstood a conversation. I was angry and place a less than great review. As I was contacted immediately by the owner and we worked out a solution as he made me feel like a valued customer and he listened. The quality of the lighting done to my home was perfect. I publicly apologize and wish I could remove my review but could not. Thank you so much for being a caring human being overall and still providing great service. read more

Walter is no better than a common thief. Please read my previous review. Short story. Both parties discuss job scope of work in detail, Walter quotes job requiring a 50% down payment, the customer pays 50% down and schedules the date, the day before job Walter returns and argues that the agreed scope of work will be double the agreed amount (price increase based on no SOW change), customer no longer agrees (other much cheaper quotes for the same SOW so I cannot agree to this contactor price increase), Walter refuses to refund the 50% down payment saying that it is a "customer cancellation". In reality, it was extortion. Walter has still never refunded my money in full. This is pure contractor theft. Don't trust this company... read more

I just had my Christmas lights installed, (I scheduled early), they were on time, installation was quick, done exactly how I wanted and I absolutely love them! They were very professional, every detail was done with care, exceptional service. read more

W&C is the best lawn maintenance business I have ever hired and I don't say this lightly. The owner is customer-driven, courteous, professional and provides thoughtful feedback and recommendations. He clearly trains his employees well too. They take care of my lawn like it was their own! A few months back, I had a french drain put in. Before the drain, we used to get large pools of water in the backyard and in the side yard. It was like a swamp! What a wise investment. After we had the drain installed, there were several severe thunderstorms and the drain worked flawlessly. No more swamp in my back or side yards! Thank you Walter to you and your team for the excellent care and service of our family's yard. read more

We hired W&C over two years ago to take care of lawn maintenance and landscaping. The owner Walter has given us the most honest, reliable and professional experience. His team "employees" are the very best in their business, they do the work as it is their own house. My wife recently asked Walter to design, plan and make our yard look great. His staff did such a great job that not only his team did the stone work but went on planting the nicest plants . We would highly recommend this company to anyone. Pictures attached. read more

W&C Lawncare is wonderful! They always show up on time and do a beautiful job. I am particular about how I do my yardwork, and was concerned about hiring someone else to do it. I was pleasantly surprised when I found they did a better, more thorough job than even I did! read more

We have been using W&C about 2 years, and they are one of the best lawn care companies we had. Our neighbor's yard looked so pretty, so we contacted them. Walter is nice, honest, and reliable. His crew is very professional, hardworking, and takes care our lawn very well. read more

Used them to get a head start on the spring season. They removed a ton of dead leaves and tree branches, trimmed my trees, removed weeds and hauled it away. The yard has never looked so good. Very professional and I received a quote before any work started. Recommended read more

I would highly recommend W&C Lawncare! I found this company on YELP and saw they had good reviews. I requested a quote for new sod from several landscape companies. W&C responded promptly, asked to come by and give onsite estimate after viewing the project personally. Walter gave me a fair estimate, offered prompt service and installation, and followed up every step via text and phone. We were so pleased that we have requested further landscape services and will probably change our weekly service to W&C! read more

Walter is a class act! I had his crew out to ready my yard for spring and summer, and they did everything exactly as I had wanted, and even mowed, edged, and blew my yard when they were done, which was not expected. Walter was easy to contact, always on time, and communicated well throughout the process. I highly recommend W & C for anything your lawn might need. read more

If I could give negative ten stars to this chauvinist pig, I would. We hired Walter when we moved in to our house around September. He promised "full service" Here is what "full service" entails per the Contract (from the actual contract and what he did and did not perform) "Mowing - performed - Blowing- performed - Edging Ledge- performed - Trimming all butches- BUSHES, performed - Clean up all flower beds- meh. - Add mulch when necessary- yeah, but he would have us pick it up when it wasn't on his way to bingo. - Weed control. We apply only those products recommended by Contractor. If Client selects their own weed control products, Contractor shall not be responsible for effectiveness of such products or consequences of their use- NOPE. see below. - Apply fertilizer to plants that are in need. If Client chooses fertilizer Contractor shall not be responsible for effectiveness of products or consequences of their use- NEVER performed - Plant seasonal flowers- never even recommended them, just ignored this part. We planted flowers ourselves. - Plant winter rye- Nope, didn't do this. - Removal of grass clippings- performed as part of blowing" He made good on only 4/11 contracted claims. This is to be performed on " a mutually agreed upon schedule on a bi-weekly basis". Walter had a great attitude when he came out to give us a quote. As a seemingly honest and hard working immigrant, we were happy to contract his services. The problems started pretty quickly in the relationship. He would ask my husband to pick up mulch (included in his regular service, which he is supposed to pick up). We thought it was a minor annoyance and picked it up any way. Another time, he asked us to pick up literally 3 dog toys that were on the grass which I thought was a snotty and petty request (you couldn't just pick up 3 toys for 110 bucks a month?) Our real problems started when we started having weeds in the yard. On the day that he was supposed to come out and spray weed killer, it rained. He explained that it would be pointless in spraying the weed killer since it would just wash away, which was completely understandable. However, instead of coming back and spraying weed killer in the following days after it stopped raining, he just ignored the weed problems (he ignored these for a good 13 days, which with the rain, they have ruined our backyard) We started calling Walter to reschedule our mowing date and move it up so he could spray and mow since the weeds were taking over the lawn. We called more than 5 times, with no responses from him (HUGE BIG RED FLAG) Finally, 4 days before our regular service, Mr. hotshot decided to call back. He said he could come and spray the lawn but it would not work very well unless he was mowing and spraying. His schedule is so packed that he cannot move the mowing date. When I spoke with him and told him we were very upset with his service, instead of apologizing and saying he would make it right, Walter started arguing with me like I was his girlfriend. I'm sorry, I just don't have time to deal with your huge male ego. I told him he was yelling at his customer and we don't do that so he had one month to fix the lawn or we would look for someone else. Walter proceeded to come over un-announced a few minutes following our call (SUPER rude, we are not your friends to come over to chill) and proceeded to continue our argument and tell me his schedule was fixed and he didn't care if the weeds were taking over, because his schedule was fixed. We will be taking him to small claims court for neglect and causing us expenses to fix the weed-ridden yard which is now pretty much dead. Save your money and your dignity people. Your contractors should treat you with respect and not behave like you're their girlfriend to yell at and argue with. ZERO professionalism. Speaks 50% English (which would not be a big deal to us if he hadn't cocked an attitude and use it as an excuse for yelling at us) We fired him and looked around for a new service. We have a new service that costs 10 bucks more than him, speak fluent English and are polite and courteous (and they have an app and will reschedule when it rains- what? that's possible?). Worst Austin customer service experience yet. I will never recommend any one to do business with this man. read more

I didn't have a good experience with W&C Lawncare and I would not recommend it to anyone. The job was not done properly. I needed to do gravel work around my trees and flowerbeds in place of mulching for better weed control. The job was done in a haphazard/unprofessional way. First, they didn't treat the area well with weed killer, didn't bring the weed block (fabric) which he had assured before taking the contract. When I asked Walter about it, he said you can bring your own block. The contract wasn't just about dumping gravels around trees and shrubs!! I had to run to Home Depot and spend extra money for it. The edging wasn't done well either. Furthermore, he didn't bring enough gravel to spread. He tried to make more money by not bringing enough gravel. And when I mentioned all of these things with him, he just endlessly talked about other things without taking care of issues at hand. All in all, I wasn't satisfied with their work. read more

Walter is as professional as they come and his team does a great job. I've had a few minor complaints in the past and every time I brought up the concern to Walter he visited with me in person to see the problem and offer a solution. That kind of service goes a very long way with me. On top of the outstanding service, I have a great a looking yard. Walter services over half the homes on my cove and several properties throughout the neighborhood. I'd say he's doing something right. read more

I've been working for Walter for well over 2 years. He's done a great job of transforming my lawns from weed-ridden and unsightly to lush and green, year-round. His crew shows up on the designated days, except for holidays and when weather prohibits. Though Walter is not the least expensive service, it is a great value for the money and I have recommended him to many of my neighbors. read more

Walter and his crew did an amazing job. They had to work a whole day to clean the place out, but it was well worth it. Class act!

I contracted W&C Lawn care and I was very happy with the quality of work and customer service they provided. I was always able to contact Walter the owner with any requests I had. I do think the price was a bit high but the quality of work backed it. I would definitely recommend them for your lawn service needs. read more

When I contacted Walter - he came out the same day to provide an estimate for the work. After accepting the bid he said he would start the next week. It was a nice surprise when he was able to do it sooner. Walter and his team - under promised and over delivered. They came out ahead of schedule and did not have to be told what to do. They did edging, trimming, mowing, weeded and mulched the plant beds. They impressed me that I signed up for the maintenance plan. When they came back the following week; I saw a repeatable process - a team that is a well oil machine - who works together to get the job done in an efficient manner. It is also nice to know that Walter and Company does stone and fence work. read more
