Christine's is such a nice place. Everyone is very friendly. I love Christine she is amazing. I came in with a terrible color experience from another local salon. She was so concerned about my problem that; before I left she did a quick fix before my appointment with her. I have never had a stylist take the time upon first meeting to be so helpful. read more

Ashley has been my girl for years! She's corrected numerous terrible boxed-color mistakes that I've made, and she helped me be a gorgeous shade of blonde for many years. Not to mention, she usually knows what will look better on me than I do, and she's always knocked it out of the park, so I just let her do pretty much whatever she wants and it's always fantastic. And she KNOWS me and how impulsive I can be, so when I want to do something bold she'll try and talk me out of it, or make it fixable at the very least. After years of being blonde I finally said "screw it" to all of the upkeep and asked for my natural brown color. Ashley said "uhhh" and put a "sheer" brown color on my hair, in case I change my mind and want to be blonde again (because it's happened!). A few months later and it's pretty much washed out but I'm happy because I could probably go either way right now if I wanted to. My haircuts are amazing, especially considering I'm lazy and only get it cut once a year or so, I'm still happy with my hair even then! She works Saturdays, which works great for my schedule, but she's definitely HIGH in demand, especially around prom/graduation season I make sure to call a month or two in advance. read more

We came in with a photo for a waterfall braid for a special occasion for my daughter. Although we were kept waiting half an hour beyond on appointment time the work was flawless. And Christine was very sure to make sure my daughter was happy and her work met our expectations. If you have any kind of special occasion, this should be your go-to place! read more

Christine's AComplete You - How gorgeous is this updo by Christine herself!!! - Skin Care Near Me - Danville, California

I went to have my hair cut and colored by Rebecca at Christine's - A Complete You over the weekend and could not be more pleased with the results! I did something stupid and had used boxed dye on my hair. I was inbetween stylists and needed to do something about my roots since they did not match and I had a big meeting coming up at work. Well, the color turned out flat and wasn't the right shade of blonde that I was looking for. Rebecca was able to add some highlights and my hair looks fantastic. She works quickly, yet spent a good amount of time planning out the look with me and finding out exactly what I was looking for when I walked in. Rebecca is so friendly and professional, the entire experience was fabulous. I love my fresh new cut and the layers sit perfectly! I'll be back soon - and no more box dye!! read more

Edit (8/3/07): I'm actually kind of surprised I gave this 4 stars. I'm going to bump it down a star because the haircut I got wasn't as satisfactory as I seem to have reviewed it as. It was good, probably the best haircut I had ever had at that time, but (now) I've had better. There was very little shape to the haircut and my bangs weren't all that great. But still, a decent place that's loved by the Danville community and a lot of teenagers go here. I love the atmosphere of this place, it feels like a quaint boutique and the service is impeccable. As soon as you walk in, they ask if you want a drink and their magazine selection is huge! There is very little wait room (two or three over sized chairs) and the place feels kind of stuffy and cluttered, but it has a nice, homey feel and the interior decorating is very pretty. But enough about what the place looks like... the salon itself is very alive and energetic, very friendly. I get my hair cut by Shelley usually but I've heard good things about all of them. I've never had such a good and thorough hair cut; Shelley was very helpful, inquisitive, and nice. I give the place four stars because they overcharged me once... other than that, lovely! By the way, there is horrible parking. read more

HAPPY CLIENT FOR TEN YEARS! After working in San Francisco and trusting my hair with a salon on Fillmore, I was looking for a fabulous salon in my hometown. YELP reviews led me to Christine's A Complete You in Danville with Christine and all the talented stylists ten years ago! I always leave feeling fabulous and so well cared for, from new hair colors, new hair styles, facials. I love it! Thank you, Christine, and the excellent team at Christine's A Complete You. read more

Emily gives SUPER relaxing facials that leave my skin glowing all week. Not only is she kind and friendly but she is really professional as well. I would highly recommend her to anybody! (PS- her waxing is quick, painless, and she makes you feel super comfy and not bashful). My hair is so hard to cut properly for some elusive reason. Rebecca executed a PERFECT cut. She listens very carefully, cares about what you have to say, and can fix any hair-problem. My hair is naturally curly and I wear it both straight and curly (depending on the day). She managed to somehow give my layers to add volume in the right places without it puffing up or poofing out! AMAZING! Love her!!! read more

I called and made an appointment, for a facial. It was Laura's first day there and she was wonderful! She used some great products on my face and she was very good at what she did. It was relaxing and felt great. She rubbed the back of my neck, shoulders and arms. I walked out with a glow. I would highly recommend her for your next facial. I will be going back, for sure, thanks, Laura. read more

I get my hair cut/dyed by Ashley, and she does pretty much the most amazing job ever. The color is probably the most natural dye job I've ever had (I've been getting compliments for months), and the cut was also great. To put it this way, she managed to blend about 3 inches of roots into a blonde color that had a lot of red and was still recovering from a botched DIY bleached job. As far as I'm concerned she goes down as a miracle worker. I'm picky about my hair, definitely give Ashley and Christine's a big thumbs up. read more

I go to Emily for all my waxing and facial needs. First of all, she is polite, friendly and pretty! (You hope when you leave your going to be able to walk out looking as beautiful as her.) My eyebrows were getting a little thin from my previous waxer so we devised a plan and Emily has them looking decent while they grow back in. It's wonderful! I can get an appointment with her within 48 hours which for eyebrows and lip waxing is super important as the growth sneaks up on me. The salon is friendly. The owner Christine is always cheery and the location is super. I can definitely call myself a regular! read more

Ashley is amazing! I got my haircut about a month ago and it's still just as amazing as it was the day she cut it! I've only had a handful of haircuts I've liked past the first few days but I'm in love with how Ashley was able to cut my hair so it looks fantastic everyday. My hair is my favorite feature but I'm pretty lazy when it comes to styling. The cut Ashley gave me lets me wash my hair everyday and let it air dry and it comes out looking fabulous. I did have to add leave-in conditioner to my morning routine but I'll take that over having to wake up extra early to blow dry any day! read more

I've gotten my hair cut by Beth since I was 13, and she always does a really wonderful job. I also got my hair done here for prom (I went to 6 of them back in the day lol) and they did a fantastic job each time! My hair stayed perfect the ENTIRE night, even through all the dancing. I definitely suggest if you want a nice up-do for prom or a wedding or something, that you get it done here, because they incredible. read more

After a hair catastrophe at my regular hair stylist; a friend walked me into Christine's for a color correction. It was a week before my daughters wedding and I was in a panic. Christine was so sweet; very calm, a good listener to what I wanted done. I didn't have an appointed yet she sat me in a chair and immediately went to work on 'fixing' my hair issue. Christine worked her magic and made me feel like I was one of her long time clients. The attention she gave me was fabulous. She assured me that if; after a couple of days I wanted to lighten my hair a bit more she would fit me into to her schedule. I decided to go a bit lighter and when I called she did exactly what she had promised. Between Christine and her assistant Regina I walked out of Christine's feeling like a million bucks. I highly recommend Christine and Regina if you are looking for a superb hair styling team. read more

I love this salon! We were in town for a wedding and Christine styled my daughter-in-law's hair and mine for the event later that day. Not only did she do a fabulous job for both of us, the whole visit was just so pleasant and friendly that I can't wait to have my hair done again by her when I'm in town next. I highly recommend this salon!!! read more

Run from this salon!!! Christine is the most unprofessional salon owner EVER. The stylist that did my hair, had to do my hair twice and messed up my color pretty bad. At first she started to foil. She started one foil and started overlapping the bleach on my already bleached hair. I stopped her because I had a nightmare in the past where all my hair was fried off. I should have just left then.. She stopped and painted on some highlights, she didn't lift them enough, and then tried to ash them out with a toner. It did nothing, she tried to do it again. It did nothing.. except ash my hair out with big patches of gold. Also, there are spots of dark all throughout my blonde where the dark touched the light- total disaster. She wanted to do it again for a third time! I had already been there for 4 hours! I left. I asked the next day what they used on my hair, so I could have it fixed. She said that she doesn't give out her formulas. Okay, like I'm going to mimic whatever you formulated horribly that made my hair look God awful to the point that I was crying. All I needed was a info so someone that actually knew what they were doing could have every detail so she save my hair without damaging it any more. I called the owner and she was soooo rude and reprimanded me like it was my fault! I am 42 years old, she literally treated me like a child. She said it was MY FAULT, because I stopped her stylist from putting in one foil. I have my cosmetology license, I have foiled a thousand heads, you don't overlap blonde- or it will break off! She told me not to micromanage her stylist. I was so kind and understanding through the entire 4 hour process even though it was a total train wreck. I even offered to pay because I felt bad for the stylist and I know she has rent to pay. She clearly told her boss I was to blame because of 1 foil I asked to have removed. I still am not going to mention her name because she really did want to give me good hair, she just didn't know what she was doing or how to fix it. Christine on the other hand, you should be ashamed to treat anyone the way you did. I did nothing, but try out your salon and was extremely nice throughout. She never apologized or offered to do anything to help me. As a business owner myself, I would have been apologizing up and down if I had a client who was unhappy, especially one with good reason! You should be ashamed to bully and treat anyone that way, I literally am the nicest person- I did not deserve that. Update: I paid a small fortune to have a color correction today at a different salon and it still is not even close to back to normal. I was told it would take several appointments to undo what was done at Christine's Salon. read more

Emily did a brilliant job on my eye brows, and my brows grow so unevenly it's a challenge. Highly recommend her!

Words cannot express how much I love this place! Every time I go here I always have a great experience, never have I ever had a bad hair cut here! When I first discovered the place, I chose someone who just started working there (because it was a little bit cheaper), she did a really good job but then she left. Amanda the front desk girl suggested I go with another new girl Regina and after a few haircuts she left too! I love the atmosphere of the salon so much I didn't want to try and find another. When I called to make an appointment Amanda was awesome in helping me find a permanent hair stylist. She introduced me to Ashely, who is a total sweetheart. She immediately was asking all the right questions: how do you normal wear your hair, when was the last cut, is this the natural color, etc. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and put my full trust in her. The results are fantastic. Even though I've been happy with cuts in the past, this is by far my favorite! I'm so happy with the outcome. I've even convinced my husband (who usually going to Supercuts) to get his hair done by Ashely. The price was perfect. $60.00 for a cut and blow out. It is worth every penny. Ashely also showed and gave me some great styling products. Couldn't be happier:) read more

My first visit to Christine's was about two months ago. The shop is very cute, with a retro/western flair. Christine personally cut my hair and spent a significant amount of time asking me questions about what I wanted. As she proceeded with the cut, I decided I was not happy with the natural color of my hair. Though she was nearly done with the cut, she gladly took the time to weave some highlights in. I paid a comprable rate for the services and walked out happy with my cut and with the lunch Christine kindly treated me to. There is a cute little western store attached to the salon. There are many items of clothing for the weekend equestrian, gifts and accessories. Christine must have passion for horses. I agree that parking downtown is not the most convenient and if you are planning to get your hair colored be sure to put enough money in the meter. read more

I love Kristena!! She is GrEAt! I had her do my hi lites and tint touch up and i wasnt sitting there for hours! she was quick and efficent all the way! and also really liked the way she blended my blonde so i wasnt walking around with that nasty streaked look! eww! and her shampoo almost put me to sleep! ahh heaven! the place needs some work, but behinde all the outdated stuff, there are some real gems that are totally up to date and know what they are doing! cant speak about anyone else, but Kristena is for sure a hidden gem! read more

My first time here was incredible. Their knowledge of the products and techniques are the best I've seen. Having thin curly hair I was afraid because so much can go wrong but a week later and I'm still so happy with the work they did. I went to Christines for over 20 years and I would highly recommend them. We recently moved to Arizona and Christine actually took the time to track down a couple salons that use the same hair color that they use. She then looked them up on line and made a recommendation. I've been once and, while it's not quite the same, I am very happy. That is the kind of care that Christine and her team always give!!! They are the best! read more

I went to Linda and really disliked everything about the experience. She was a bit rough and kept turning my neck abruptly when shampooing my hair. She seemed really hyper and did not listen to what I wanted. The color was just okay and the cut was pretty awful. In fact, I had to cut these long dangling hairs off in the front. Not a good experience. I would not recommend the salon at all either. read more

I went to Wendy for the first time about a month or so ago. Originally I had been looking for someone to do my eyebrows, let me tell you she is amazing. I will no longer go to anyone else for my eyebrows. I then found out that she did facials, I had already been seeing someone for my skin but I didn't notice much of a change. So I decided to switch over to Wendy, she already did my eyebrows and makes you feel comfortable so I figured why not try a facial. I just got my facial a few days ago and my skin has already changed so much. I started using a few of the products she recommended and I can notice a change in just a few days. It's worth every penny! Once you go see her you won't want to see anyone else. She is an expert!!!! read more
