From the moment I walked up, I felt genuinely welcomed. Check-in was quick and seamless and this all set the tone for the rest of my visit. Let me just say, the location could not be better! Just a few blocks from the freeway and tucked into the coziest little courtyard. The entire vibe is upscale yet quaint, if that can even be a thing. I ended up eating at the cafe next door (which I'll gush about in another review). I was introduced to Jeanette the NP, who was also totally lovely. Together they made the entire experience feel comfortable and inclusive. I never felt rushed (despite it being a busy office) or out of place (especially since it was my first time). She is super skilled and I don't want to go to anyone else for anything aesthetic again! What also really stood out to me was the energy of the place. There's a steady flow of clients, but everything runs like a well oiled machine. I chatted with a few other patrons while we waited, and everyone was so friendly. It honestly felt like I had made new friends by the time I left. They run specials on their website, which is what brought in a couple of the clients I spoke with. I was personally tipped off by a friend and let's just say I owe her several coffees... and maybe even a lobster. If you're looking for a med spa that feels welcoming, professional, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable to visit, this is it!

Nina told me that she was not qualified to perform CO2 treatments, and she constantly asked for help throughout the procedure. I was not able to find any record from the California Board of Registered Nursing that she is licensed. Perhaps I am not looking in the right place, though. I would encourage other prospective customers to ask for documentation if there is any concern that unqualified individuals will be operating the CO2 laser equipment, as it could potentially be hazardous if not used properly. 2. At the time of this writing, SculptME's regular price for CO2 treatment is quite obviously $495, not $895. Both the price list at the counter and SculptME's own website (screenshotted here) advertise it for $495. There is literally nothing on the website listed for $895. It is unclear to me why the business owner would lie about this simple question of facts. 3. As I explained to the staff in person, I used my maiden name back when I was unmarried and I use my married name now that I am married. Zo attempted to portray this as something nefarious. It is not. Also, just for the record, it is illegal under the Unruh Act to discriminate on the basis of marital status.

It wasn't until I was sitting there that I realized how used to bad treatment I'd gotten. Other salons trained me without me even noticing, packed into a tiny space, treated like I'm on a conveyor belt, rushed out before my nails even had time to properly dry. I had honestly forgotten my time and my experience mattered. Delane's brought that back for me. The professionalism was on another level too. No games with the price going up if you don't tip in cash, which is honestly tacky and rude and tells you exactly how little they think of their customers. Nobody crowding me in next to three other people either. It was calm, it was peaceful, it actually felt relaxing instead of stressful. And the cleanliness. Towels were fresh, equipment looked properly cleaned, none of that murky blue water sitting in a dirty container that's clearly been there for who knows how long. Even the bathroom was clean, and that alone tells you a lot about how a place is really run. I've been getting my hair done by Ashley at Ashley Pollard Hair Studio for almost four years. She is absolutely amazing. She is so patient and kind. She truly listens to what I want and my hair comes out almost perfect every everytime. I have never left her chair unhappy. She knows my hair better than I do and has helped me transform over and over again. Ashley has taken my hair from true brunette to ashy blonde highlights, to balayage and back. She never cuts off more than she says she will and is always honest about what my hair is capable of. I would follow her just about anywhere. I've always wanted longer hair but it just doesn't grow past a certain length. I now have Natural Beaded Row extensions and let me tell you my life is forever changed! I have been to Ashley at Ashley Pollard Hair Studio for the past seven years and I wouldn't trust anyone else. She always gives me an honest assessment of the condition of my hair and won't do anything she thinks may damage it or that won't look good. When I walked in the door I thought it looked very nice, but there wasn't anyone there to help me. I didn't know what I was supposed do. Its not a salon at all, its little rooms. The end. :) No but seriously, I've been following Jen around since she had her own salon, and now that she's here at Tribez, I continue to see only her. She's wonderful. She will absolutely take her time with you, and make sure that you leave her chair looking and feeling gorgeous. Before her hands even touch your head, she'll ask you about your likes & dislikes, your lifestyle, your preferences, etc. And then she gets down. Not only is she great at what she does, but she's a good person, too. Easy to talk to/with, fun to be around...very pleasant. The total package. :) Go to Jen. You'll be glad you did!

Then she will kind of add her own twist which is way better than what you initially thought you wanted. I have a ridiculous amount of hair which obviously takes a lot of time but I have yet to see her rush through anything. I am taking the time to write a short review, which I never do, because I have been in the position before when you feel like you need to change your hairdresser but scared and it would be great for you to have the same experience as I have had.
