Truly feel at peace when I get my hair done knowing he fully understands the vibe and reasoning behind the things im requesting. I usually just get a trim and all black hair color so nothing too complicated lol but today I decided to get layers after 10+ years! It came out gorgeous & I'm very happy with my new change. I never have any concerns, worries, regrets when working with Josh. He is very clear in communication, asks questions and answers all of mine without any issues. He always offers something to drink too which is just a little extra hospitality that is so much appreciated. I also booked Josh for my wedding hair color appointment, and he got me looking beautiful and ready for the big day. Desiree gave my the best haircut I've gotten in about 9 years...I'm not over-exaggerating. When I moved to the Bay in 2011, I left behind a stylist who had been cutting my hair since I was 4 years old. Since then, I have been bouncing from stylist to stylist hoping that someone would understand my hair. My hair isn't necessarily complicated, but I usually end up with something like "the rachel" or the mom from "The Brady Bunch" for some reason. The last cut I got was SO bad that I let my hair grow out for over a year. I realize now I was too scared to get it cut again. Then my good friend recommended Desiree and I feel like a million bucks. She talked through what I wanted, was kind, thoughtful, funny, and informative. I left learning a lot more about hair in general than I have with other stylists. By the end of the session, I was ecstatic and the greatest part is that after the first wash, everything still looks exactly as I would like it to given my routine (air-drying).
