Prior to this incident, I would've given this place 5 stars. I have been coming here since 2021 and…read moreI've never had an issue with their service or my glasses and their prices are fair. I had an appointment in late April, placed my son & I's glasses order & received the first week of May. My glasses were not as expected. The transition was not placed in the correct frame. I called right away & their was no solution offered. It was the end of the day, so I understood. I attempted to contact the manager, Amanda, for over two weeks after this before making contact. She agrees to order the corrected lenses & NEVER discussed pricing so I'm assuming their going to make their wrong, right. Nope. Now, fast forward to yesterday, I went to pick up the replacement lenses. Amanda was not there. I should've waited for Amanda, but I was already there and I assumed it was going to be a better experience. Wrong. The employee, I believe Mayeli (short, Hispanic female with glasses), helps me. And I absolutely HATED the replacement lenses. They did not look good on my frame. She asks me THREE times with an attitude "so do you want them or not?!". I was baffled. The alternative was to pay an additional $70 to keep the transition in my original frame after I was already inconvenienced. This place is no longer worth the hassle & clearly do not value making things right when THEY screw up. Beware.

They were a little out of adjustment so the employee said they can adjust them, after a minute she came back to me with a pair of broken frames. I have never been the type of person to lash out at someone for a mistake and I didn't. But then I was offered the really crappy deal of picking out a pair of their horrible looking frames for $50 or pick out the more expensive frames and I would have to pay the difference. Long story short; if they break your frames on purpose or accident they will screw you by either telling you to buy one of their frames or take the refund of $30 for the lens. I decided to take the $30 refund and I'll never be going back to those thieves.

I reached out to Stanton Optical at 10am on a Saturday, the customer service representative notified me that there were walk-ins available, but also that I could book an appointment to ensure we didn't have any wait. There were appointments available all day long, so it fit perfectly into our schedule. The entire process (intake, exam, frame selection, checkout AND the frames prepared on the spot!) took a little over an hour. The staff was super attentive, even with a full house, and made sure we got an amazing price with BOGO (frames and lenses) and an extra discount..which helps when paying out of pocket. 10/10 recommend, great price point, wonderful service, minimal time investment and a wonderful assortment of frames.

I had a very poor experience at Stanton Optical. The restroom alone says a lot about how this place…read moreis managed. The trash was overflowing with paper towels, the sink and fixtures were dirty, and there was visible rust and staining on the walls and around the plumbing. There were also bugs on the walls, which is completely unacceptable for a business open to the public. This level of cleanliness reflects poorly on the overall professionalism of the location. If basic sanitation isn't being maintained, it makes it hard to trust the quality of care or service being provided. I would not recommend this location.

Lack of empathy. Smiles are free, if they are not happy where they work then please work elsewhere out of the service industry. The check in kiosks. Most of patients are elderly do think they can see well to have to use those. The staff does not offer assistance to help them either. Next when they call your name out they walk you, through the hall where the staff is standing around on both side against wall. Just chit chatting gossiping I imagine about the patients that are walking by who knows. Then they take you in the office where most of the time the person is very unfriendly off standing. The doctors see you quickly give you the feeling of ok move a long, next. Not professional on either parts. The front office personnel should be trained or retrained or fired if they do not improve. This company is strictly about the money. They charge us upfront for everything and do not bill the insurance correctly, so the only person affected is the patient, not the insurance company or Vantage eye. When you ask questions they look at you like why are you asking questions. Well I did pay for a service they should answer my questions. Unfortunately here you pay to receive the most horrible treatment and service.

I was told that I would get all my 3 glasses ready in two weeks at the most including my own frame that I wanted the lenses replaced. It is now almost 3 weeks; one of my glasses is still not ready. I called after 2 weeks, I was told the lenses for my own frame have not arrived yet. i called the second time I believe it was on July 25th, I was told the lenses have not arrived yet. I called again on July 28, I was told the lenses will arrive tomorrow (that would be July 29). I called on July 30, I was told the lenses have arrived but "somebody" has to cut it and it should be ready on Thursday, that would be July 31st. I called August 1st, now I was told they had to send it back because one of the lenses has scratches. So I have to wait again for another who knows 2 more weeks. I am very disappointed with the service, this is my first time and I will never return to this place. GO SOMEWHERE not LensCrafters - away from this place.

So she left the room. Returned with gloves on. Touched the door. Touched the chair. Touched the table. Touched the computer. I said no. Your gloves are not sterile. I don't want infection. I'd rather be examined by the dr. She said let me go ask Next another young lady came in carrying a box of gloves. lol. Sorry but I did not feel comfortable. I did not let her help me neither. I demanded to have the Dr assist me So she then led me to another room where I waited for the Dr to assist me. I felt a lot more comfortable with him. Having gone through my second vtrectomy I was not going to risk infection. The thing is the first young lady didn't seem to think anything wrong with her touching things. She said her gloves were clean. I told her everything she touched wasn't. I'm not upset with the person. I'm upset with the protocol.
