She's great. I take all my suits and sport coats to her. Better than my old tailor in NYC

dropped off a pair of jeans to replace a zipper $28.00. I dropped the jeans off on a Friday, and here it is a week later and they were not done. I went there to pick them up and they had just started working on them. I was told to wait -- forget that. I took the jeans with no zipper home. Thank god I did not prepay that would of been a battle. No apologies: no explanation of why it wasn't done. I told this one woman you had the jeans for a week she said yes -- no I am sorry or anything. AVOID AVOID AVOID read more

Service was very good and simple. Came in told her what was wrong she fixed perfectly and was very pleasant to speak to.

please beware! i dropped off a pair of pants to be hemmed on april 30th 2026, just about a week ago. i was promised they would be ready for pick up today, thursday, may 7th. when i got thre the place is shut down. i looked in thru the glass door and everything is gone. everything. there are no signs indicating where to go to pick up items which by the way are pre paid, there is not alternative phone number. nothing. they are gone. shame on them read more

I took a very simple black tie dress to be taken in and hemmed. Although sweet, over the course of THREE separate visits, these ladies destroyed the basic symmetry of my dress. It is no longer black tie since they shortened it way past my request. More critically, it is lopsided, one side clearly longer than the other. To top it all off, the process had a hefty price tag of $200. I do not recommend you bring your important, expensive, and time-sensitive garments here. read more

Needed a hem was told one week. I showed up and it wasn't ready. they had me come back in a hour and it still wasn't ready. had to wait around. not to mention that a hem was over $100. wasn't even straight or the length we talked about. read more

My fiancé brought in a wedding outfit to have altered and when she picked it up it was cut way too short! Nowhere near where the original pins were set. She went in for a refund and the lady was cold as ice and said "Not my problem". So disgusting about it!! She said, "What do you want me to do about it?" Wasn't ready when you said and completely ruined the outfit! Wouldn't refund any money or even offer a solution! Sad business decision read more

I could give a negative one star, I would. The lady running the place "lost" three of my favorite dresses. Went to go pick them up and she wanted me to help her look for my items. They were nowhere to be found. I rummaged through the whole back room. Said she would call me if she found them, got a call back with her blaming myself that I picked up the items and she will not be reimbursing me. I told her I'm not an idiot and 100 percent sure I did not pick up my clothes before. She has no customer service skills and not really sure how this place is staying in business. It's a wreck and she can barely move around with one cast on her leg. Now I'm down 3 of my favorite items for vacation this month with no reimbursement or even a "sorry" just blame game. Don't go here!! read more

I brought in a fur Jacket (that my mother-in-law had given my daughter) the sleeves had been shortened . I took the sleeves down. I found that the original lining had been cut. The fur on the outside was perfect and it even had a finished binding to sew the fur to the lining. Christina said she could add lining and finish the sleeve by that Saturday 12 o'clock , when my daughter had a 5o'clock flight. I returned at 12 and she didn't even start the job. She said come back at 2:30. I picked the jacket up ,it looked finished. When my daughter put it on one sleeve was almost 5 inches shorter than the other. She could feel that the lining was twisted causing the problem. I brought the jacket back a couple of days later. Christina pulled the lining so it appeared straight but then the fur was twisted. She was belligerent and wouldn't acknowledge the problem.then she turned and walked away. I should have read the awful reviews about her sloppy work and rude attitude...Stay away! Not worth any stars. read more

This is literally the worst place with the rudest owner. I dropped off a comforter to have three buttons sewn in and I brought two of the buttons for her to use. Two weeks later she had not done the work and had lost all my buttons! She then acted like it was MY fault for coming back too soon. I brought a sweater with a tear on the seam. She didn't do that either. She refused to do the work, to compensa me for any of the lost buttons and was incredibly rude. I really don't understand how a business like this can continue to operate. read more

The worst! Don't go there. I spent hundreds of dollars on a dress that had a 3 day return policy and I needed to know that day if what I needed altered to the dress could be done, because if not, I would return it. I was told yes, what I needed done would be done. I told her there was no rush on the alterations- she gave me 1 week. I got busy and showed up 2 weeks later. I had the receipt with all the information, and first she could not find my dress, then when she remembered what dress it was, she said she didn't even start on it! I should have taken this as a sign and gotten a refund and left, but I'm a gracious/patient person. I told her no rush on the dress but that whatever date she gives me to pick it up, it needs to be done. Another week goes by, and when I go to pick it up she did something completely different than what I asked and it was still extremely loose on me (good thing I tried it on in the store). I asked her for a refund because I would take it somewhere else, but she refused and said she'd have it done in an hour. So when I go back to try it on, it was so poorly done! One side completely lopsided and uneven, one side looser than the other I asked her to fix it, so I had to wait more for it to be done. At this point I was just ready to get out of there. The dress was botched/poorly done. Upon closer inspection, inside the dress is ripped fabric, crooked stitching. The dress is ruined and I can't return it. Please please please save yourself the waste of time and $ and don't go here. I had to go back freaking 4x just to get my dress! And each time I went to pick it up, they can't seem to find my dress and had to ask multiple times what it looked like. They are disorganized and don't care. Poor quality work. Very disappointed. Update: I took my dress to another seamstress who was in utter shock at the botched work that was done on my dress. Poor thing is going to try to salvage it, but the dress literally has a hole in it- a hole!! I still can't believe I wasted my time with Christina's and gave her so many chances to fix it and make things right. Never again. This place needs to be shut down it's that bad. read more

I need a simple dart on a dress. So far it has taken SIX trips to her store and several revisions and I still do not have the dress. In addition, she demands payment upfront, so she has your garment and can finish it when and if and how she pleases. Stay away. read more

If I could give a Negative 5 stars I would! She completely ruined my dress. She altered a part of the dress, where it did not need to be. By doing so, she made the dress unwearable! After trying to explain to her what was wrong, she was unresponsive and rude. read more

I was in Boca Raton for work and had a jacket that need help. I had very limited time and was desperate for help. Found Christina's and they did not disappoint. They were able to take care of my sewing needs in less than 4 hours and the work was so great my jacket looked like it had just come out of the store! Thank you Christina and all your wonderful staff. I HIGHLY recommend Christina's Alterations!!! read more

I would like to tell you about my experience at Christina's Alterations. I took an expensive ($1500) gown to her store to be altered. I asked her to shorten the gown to be cocktail-dress length. Not only is her price unfair - she charged $250 to shorten a dress - she did not return the material she cut off the dress. When I called her to ask for the material, she kept putting me off and telling me she would call me back at a later time. She told me she had to look for the fabric. Finally, after trying to reach for two weeks, I tried reaching her again, and she blocked my number. I had to call from another phone number to finally reach her. She said I took too long to pick up my dress and had no explanation as to where my extra material is and if I'd be able to receive it. I would highly recommend avoiding this store. She stole my material from my gown and is a thief. read more

Overprice!! $100 to hem a dress and I had to go back 3 times after the time promised to finally be ready.

I had to have extensive work done to clothes for my son. I paid almost $200 for two pairs of pants and two pairs of shorts. I thought it was high but needed it done in a timely manner. I went to pick up the clothes a week later after the date I was promised and the pants were not completed. She had them as finished but left out a main part of what I needed fixed. She said she would fix it and I told her I would pick it up the next week. I came back and Christina was not there and the people who were watching the store were clueless and rude. They first couldn't find my items and I had to go through the rack to find them myself. Then they said I owed $15. I was never told or agreed to paying an additional money! I was already overcharged to begin with. The woman fought with me and refused to give me the clothes and then I told her to just charge me the balance because I. Plus the wait any longer she didn't even know how to use the credit card machine. I told her I'm taking the pants and Christina needs to call me to discuss this. I never received a call. I will obviously never go there again. read more

Christina does an amazing job fixing my jeans and various other alterations. I high recommend her work.

Expensive....$32 to hem a skirt and did a straight hem, when it curved up on the sides. Nice woman and fast but probably wouldn't go back.

Nice lady, have been supporting her several years but no more. Over priced, not wearing mask, not social distancing and although her sign asks patrons to wear a mask to enter she did not enforce it with a rude man who was not wearing mask and remained within 2 feet of each other talking. He must be a good customer, had a load of clothes so I'm guessing that was the influencing factor. read more

Owner was rude and unfriendly. Seems when I walked in the store I interrupted her. She wanted to charge me $160 for hemming a pair of unlined drapes! And told me it would be 10 days!! Needless to say I walked out. read more

Used to like Christina when she was in Boca Rio Rd and her prices weren't high enough to cause nose bleeds. Sadly, her prices have gotten ridiculously high, and to add insult to injury she charges a TEN percent tax. You may ask how can that be since Palm Beach County's tax is only 7%. Christina charges another 3% credit card fee on top of that. She doesn't even disclose it anywhere, which I believe is illegal. I know of no other business that charges a 3% credit card fee, especially one with prices as high as Chrsitina's. The only thing that needs to be altered are her high prices and ridiculous fees. We won't be coming back! read more

She is AMAZING at what she does! Very pricey but well worth it. Pageant girls get their stuff altered with her.

Fast reliable service. Owner is friendly and knowledge. My clothes were ready in an hour and came out just how I wanted them.

Christina's saved my wedding dress!!!! I had another seamstress almost ruin my dress by taking it in the wrong places and making me look heavy when I am a size 0. I brought my dress to Christina almost in tears, and she immediately saw what was wrong and fixed my dress for me right away. Her prices are reasonable and she is so talented at what she does. Now I cannot wait to wear my dress at my wedding!!! read more
