Townsend Auto Electric is a business that sells auto parts and formerly specialized in electrical…read morerepairs. It's a unique auto parts store in Watsonville... Unique because of the personal service they give. The guys at Townsend Auto Electric are very helpful and knowledgeable. Recently I needed to buy an air control valve for my car and I had a price of $347 from the dealer. I went to Townsend because they've always done a computer search to help me find parts that were more reasonably priced. I walked out the door after paying $219 for the same part. They saved me $122! That's impressive! I've also bought parts for my classic car there! They sold me chrome lug nuts that I couldn't find anywhere else. And guess what? They have them in stock! I highly recommend the store for your automotive needs! Try it out... And save a chunk of change and remember... You'll always get service with a smile!

Nice that there are still some old school auto parts stores around. Needed some brake rotors…read moreturned and had trouble finding an auto parts place that would do it. Not only do these guys do it, it's $25 each, which is a great deal. New rotors would have cost me over $100 each, so big savings. While the chain stores have a bunch of younger guys with a little bit of training, the guys that work here know what they are doing, and they've been doing it a long time. I'm glad these guys are here in my town, and I hope they stick around for a long time.

I went in Saturday 4/11/26 with a dead battery and no good wipers on a rainy day . I want to…read morerecognize Jose L from Watsonville AutoZone. They went above and beyond by helping me change my battery and windshield wipers. They were patient, kind, and very helpful. Great customer service! Thank you Jose !

This is my experience from Autozone Freedom the other night…read more I stopped in about 8:30pm on Saturday night. I needed two things, a bulb for my headlight and a rear wiper. The auto shops where I grew up keep bulbs behind the counter so I went to the counter and told them my car's make and model. I mentioned that I'd had trouble in the past with the book guides giving me the wrong blade info. The guy looked up the details on their Autozone computer. Said they didn't have the bulb replacement I needed. I was surprised but... ok. He told me they could order it. I said I needed it asap so would find it elsewhere. He went to get my wiper blade with me telling him I didn't need the wiper blade if they didn't have the bulb. He got it anyway and came back to the computer. Then he noticed that maybe they DID have the replacement bulb after all. He asked the other coworker there and then he went to the aisles again and brought two options for me. When he got back to the counter, I asked the difference between the two options - if one would be brighter. He said he didn't know the difference but since the single pack was more expensive than the two-pack, assumed one was brighter. I bought the single one because this is the second time I'm having to replace the same headlight in two years. Took my bulb, wiper, and receipt, and left feeling not great about the interaction. The next morning, I tried to show my son and his friends how to change a wiper blade and... failed because it was the wrong size blade. We will see how it goes with the headlight, though I think I'll look up the numbers on the package he gave me before starting that process. We moved here some months back so... guess we have to get to know the local flow and businesses. :-/ Won't see me there!
