I took my new-to-me car to the shop yesterday for brighter headlights. My 2015 Nissan had amber headlights which only offered diffuse lighting for Monterey's oft foggy and unlit roadways. I wanted the opportunity to see and to be seen when I drive at night. The owner emailed me last month to let me know that his shop could install the lights for my budget & the process would take 30 minutes max - no appointment needed. I stopped by yesterday morning & was welcomed into the cleanest mechanic's shop I've ever seen. Not a speck of dust or drop of oil anywhere. Everything was spotless and freshly painted. The vehicle lighting displays were numerous & offered something for every customer. Of course, I'm sensible. The owner suggested that I add fog lights for additional safety while I'm driving and found a set that matched my budget. Done! Lights look great and will ensure that I see everything while I'm driving. Yesterday my battery was dead because I left the interior lights on so I called him to ask how do I get to the battery. He didn't tell me on the phone but rather came to help me and my father out. He even taught us how to use my portable charger if I ever need to jump start my car again. He had me drive car around for 30 minutes then go to his shop to test battery in case I needed a new one. He explained and showed me the calibration. My father was so impressed that he has hired Joe to do major work on Dads Tahoe. Also my daughter has an appointment next week for her Kia. They finally got my trailer back to better than ever. They combed the entire trailer and fixed every broken, missing, and inadequate part. I came with a hydraulic jack that wouldn't work. Finally, when bringing my trailer to Economy Rv they fixed the problem at its route and it works better than ever now! The contact guy behind the desk who answers the phone thinks he's clever and funny....not. They had our camper for more than four months yet most of what we needed done had not been accomplished. Mistake was to put money upfront. Once money was in hand they put us on the backburner. We missed several camping opportunities because of the poor service. They initially estimated the entire job would take 2-3 weeks. We did not add to there work load after having left our camper there. The person we talked with while getting our unfinished camper out of their facility was drinking beer and tried to hide it. He had an open ice chest with beer in it behind his desk. There are plenty of other legit RV repair outfits in this area...you do not need the headaches these clowns will give you.
