When I say they took their time, I mean they took almost all day, but it was absolutely needed. They're worth it. I only rate them 4/5 because although I had a set time for them to come to the house, I didn't get a heads up text or call that they'll be on their way. Peter explained my queries, so I decided to go with them. Also, he is pretty responsive and sends a message about cleaners' ETA. I had them do move in regular move in cleaning and deep clean steam carpet. I like they have service which includes carpet cleaning. They had 3 people came to our home. The cleaners came first, and the carpet technician came later noon. The ladies were working hard and I had them clean the missed spots. This is a small local company. It is a great company for heavy-duty or specialty cleaning. I have used it twice, and my sister used it once. We used them for a move-out clean, for cleaning baseboards (I can't bend over that much anymore), and for cleaning the outside of our oven. I had it pulled out, so it was ready for them to clean the entire outside of the oven and the space it was going to go back into. The team was respectful of the property, respectful of us, and professional each time. Each job was above and beyond my expectations. Bought a new house and wanted a deep cleaning before I brought my valuables in. The cleaners arrived and there was a language barrier. Via an app I let them know I wanted a deep clean. They finished 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. It was an easier job because I had just purchased the home so there was nothing in there. I left to allow space for them to clean. They let me know they finished so I asked to please lock up and I was on my way back home. When I arrived back my garage door was left wide open. My 2 bathroom toilets had not been cleaned nor marble counters wiped down. I reached out and they said they had a second job for that Saturday so Monday was the earliest they could come clean my toilets. I hadn't unpacked yet so I had to go buy a toilet scrubber or sit in filth. They came Monday and the employee was short but completed the job. It was frustrating paying $700+ and my toilets etc being overlooked. I will check for better reviews next time or do the job myself. The house smelled better but I am unsure what else was overlooked at toilets were. No compensation or adjustment was offered. I paid full price and waited 2 days for my toilets to be cleaned. Here is my review from my services done in Vacaville: Scheduled a move out cleaning for 1:30, and got a text a little after 12:30 saying they are at the house. I was out of town and scheduled the cleaning around my schedule, so I had to rush there to let them in. What's the point of scheduling when they're gonna show up an hour early to no one there? They also left all their equipment on the step in front of the door. When they came back the ladies parked in the driveway and didn't really acknowledge me. I told her the front door was open then they started. I came back when it was done and she walked through with me. It's a big house, so I was pretty lenient with some things that weren't cleaned to perfection. The cleaner pointed some items out-- she couldn't clean the oven all the way but tried really hard, some blinds broke off various windows, she couldn't clean the shower floor because it was old (I just did it myself) and she broke a fan panel when she was cleaning it. Mind you-- I paid $650 for a house cleaning service. When getting my payment situated I mentioned the things we talked about during the walk through to the rep that was texting me. I'm assuming the business owner? I was absolutely surprised and shocked at the way they responded and just layered excuse after excuse. Long story short-- the cleaners took a piece of packing tape, slapped it on the fan panel, sent a picture to their boss, and said it was already broken. During the walk through-- she told me she broke it and was in there when I took the pic (miraculously without the tape). She told her boss otherwise. I honestly knew it was a honest mistake and that the cleaner felt really bad. But I couldn't handle the lying and the constant excuses in the messages from the boss. Like, there were so many excuses and the tone was just so confrontational. That on its own ruined the entire experience. The lack of customer service was just sad. I attached screenshots of the conversation so you can see the excuses for yourself and make your own judgement. They did offer to come back to fix the fan, but we were out the next day & did not have the time since they ended late evening. What's the point though, how were they gonna fix it? With glue? Or more packing tape??. They did apologize too, but the conversation still doesn't sit well with me. Or the lying. Or the deceit. Can't believe I paid $650 for that service. To update: the property manager was so surprised that we payed over $600 for the work. He said it looked like they took a wet rag and just wiped the house down & also thought we were lying about getting the house professionally cleaned. I hired them to do a regular deep clean. $540 After which I was to be offered a discount to continue on a monthly basis. After cleaning one bathroom I inspected the shower door. The hard water stains remained. She had simply wiped it clean. I knew from my own cleaning it would simply take some scrubbing to remove. I asked her about it and she said that I did not pay for that kind of cleaning. I took 10 minutes and cleansed it myself. told her that in 10 minutes it was completely clean and shouldn't I expect the same from her. I sent pictures of before and after to the management. Very quick to respond and follow up on requests. They were very attentive to details and took the time to get everything cleaned instead of rushing through as I've seen others do in the past. They missed one small area which was a surprise considering the attention they gave to the details but I can understand considering the quality of work in all other areas. I scheduled the move in cleaning a few weeks before I actually move in, but they canceled the appointment the day before, while I was on my flight. They said they need 70% of payment as a pre-payment / deposit but couldn't charge my card. Who would ask for so much payment before even coming to customer's home? I was like fine I asked the previous tenant to help contacting and rescheduling the cleaning, using his credit card, because I was transferring my flights. When I arrived, the place is still not cleaned and they cancelled the cleaning again! And their response was both 2 credit cards didn't work and they were trying everything they could let me pay the "cleaning deposit" thru venmo or zelle. I don't know how this company got so many good reviews but for me it sounds 100% like a scam. Requiring deposit and not even taking credit cards, it is beyond ridiculous. I called Chris Cleaning because the house that we live in hadn't been cleaned in about a year. It was in serious need of a deep cleaning and I wasn't sure how long it would take. I called them and I spoke to Junior and someone else whose name I can't recall. They guided me through the online booking process, which was very easy and I was able to make an appointment the next morning. They even stayed a bit after closing to respond to some questions that I had. The cleaners who came were very nice and best of all, so fast! I was told the cleaning would take about 5-6 hours and it took a little less than 3 hours-I couldn't believe it! I hesitated writing this review because I get this is a hard time for companies to survive, but the way they spoke to me and conducted their business was astonishing! Now reading other people have had similar experiences I couldn't let mine be untold. We spent $400 for a move out cleaning. After the first inspection we noticed they didn't clean the windows thoroughly and the baseboards were not cleaned. They came back to clean and left it at that. Until my former landlord came by for a walk through, we had moved out by then, and asked if the cleaners were done. The oven hadn't been touched and the windows looked as though they hadn't been cleaned. I spoke with the company and they said,"Well, we can't make the oven look new." They hadn't even touched it. My husband had to go back and clean everything again and it took him 4 hours!! Wait a waste of time and money! If we would have done it ourselves it would have been better and we would have saved so much essential money. My landlord was disgusted and said we did not get our monies worth. I have text messages of how rude the person I communicated with, but I thought I'd leave that out because I don't want to get into a back and forth again, just not worth it. I thought I'd just leave my honest review so that others can learn from my experience. There are good/honest companies out there, this isn't one of them. I first used Chris cleaning as a one time clean, I was surprised at such the tremendous job that they did that I added the cleaning service biweekly. Every time they come, I always feel so relaxed walking back into my home. With COVID, they do not allow anyone in the house and they wear mask and gloves while cleaning your home. We did not discontinue service, although case numbers have risen in the Bay Area and have not had any issues. Vanessa and Celanie (sp?) do a great job and I appreciate the consistency of the same cleaners.
