She made the oven look brand new, and our landlord specifically noted how clean it was during our walkthrough. Our shower doors have tough hard water buildup, but she worked hard on them and made them look significantly better, along with a spotless shower stall and clean window tracks. But even the dirty dishes and food my child had accumulated in her room was left in a pile on a chair in there. Window linings and exterior windows still are caked in dust, bugs, dirt ! And despite me specifically asking for detailed window cleaning included in the price of the clean... & being promised such. I paid this company THREE TIMES AS MUCH as much as I paid my usual cleaner. For this half-job on my new 3 bed 2 bath house in Fairfield, than what I paid for my 2 bed 1 bath place in South San Francisco. So , not much bigger place, living in a lower cost of living area, yet 3x the COST.. for worse job? I don't even know if the exorbitant flat price I paid included tip (or even decent pay) for those who cleaned my house. As a single mother of a developmentally delayed child working multiple jobs on a tight income , no time to deep clean things clean myself but busting my @$$ to keep it all together on my own... I feel grateful that someone else did something productive in this home other than me for once! But I'm also sad & irritated seeing my home is barely any cleaner than I left it for them, and, that I could've saved that money for things our family needs and done better on it myself. The short of it is: My 80 year old MIL has been putting off getting a house cleaner for a very long time due to extremely high anxiety about, well, basically everything (and I mean EVERYTHING). Before finding Blue Rose Cleaning Services, I hadn't found a cleaner I felt would do the job in such a way as to reduce my MIL's anxiety. Cue Rosemeri! Oh my goodness. From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew my MIL would be in good hands. Rosemeri explained the services offered, worked with me on the right balance of time spent on a deep clean and my MIL's school teacher retirement budget, and then set up a monthly service so that the house would stay in good shape. And then Marcelo and Hetielle!! These two people are just the loveliest. Absolute joy to be around. Regret to say that I have to update my review based off of other findings; previously, I did…read moremention the lack of cleaning on some window blinds/sills but my partner ended up finding more areas that were neglected. It turns out that most of our kitchen cabinets weren't cleaned so he ended up cleaning it himself (wasn't able to take photos because he didn't think of it at the time.) The most noticeable thing we've found thus far was our oven- we were going to use it until we found residue(?) of some sort; not sure if it was from the particular cleaning spray they used, though I know this wasn't missed at the time of service since I recall this being one of the first things they started to clean. We ended up cleaning this ourselves as well. Edit to add: the reason for this update a month later is because as a first time homeowner, newly moving in, we're slowly furnishing everything and settling in- which is why we're just finding these other things just now. This updated review isn't intended to deter any new customers, but more so to let future ones to look more thoroughly as I should have done. I know Sparkle & Shine is a newer company so there's always room for improvement. I still thank Lina & her staff, as she has always been nice and communicative from the start.

They were supposed to be there at 10am. I was at work and my wife texted me around 10:30 to make sure it was for today and it was 10am. I had her text the contact person (about an hour after they were supposed to have been there) and they said the person who was supposed to come was sick. Ok?? That's fine but when were you going to tell me?? Nobody called me, no message through Yelp. And they can't send anyone else until next week. No thanks.
