Luckily, this business responded to me very quickly and set up an appointment for a move-out cleaning service. They also provided me their business license and COI so I know they're legit and care about their business as well as the client's home. Overall, the house was super clean. They even cleaned the baseboards and walls. I've contracted other cleaning services before and this place has been the best. I also requested the Garage be cleaned and they blew all the dust off from top to bottom and wiped down every surface. That alone deserves 5 stars. And despite me specifically asking for detailed window cleaning included in the price of the clean... & being promised such. I paid this company THREE TIMES AS MUCH as much as I paid my usual cleaner. For this half-job on my new 3 bed 2 bath house in Fairfield, than what I paid for my 2 bed 1 bath place in South San Francisco. So , not much bigger place, living in a lower cost of living area, yet 3x the COST.. for worse job? I don't even know if the exorbitant flat price I paid included tip (or even decent pay) for those who cleaned my house. As a single mother of a developmentally delayed child working multiple jobs on a tight income , no time to deep clean things clean myself but busting my @$$ to keep it all together on my own... I feel grateful that someone else did something productive in this home other than me for once! This time, the company told me they had never been asked for a COI by a client before, and shortly after, they cancelled my appointment, saying they felt I was "setting them up." I was surprised by this reaction, as reputable service providers typically have liability insurance and can provide proof without issue. Because they refused to provide a COI and cancelled my booking, I cannot speak to the quality of their current work. However, I would caution other homeowners that if you want to ensure a vendor is insured, this may not be the right company for you.

Regret to say that I have to update my review based off of other findings; previously, I did…read moremention the lack of cleaning on some window blinds/sills but my partner ended up finding more areas that were neglected. It turns out that most of our kitchen cabinets weren't cleaned so he ended up cleaning it himself (wasn't able to take photos because he didn't think of it at the time.) The most noticeable thing we've found thus far was our oven- we were going to use it until we found residue(?) of some sort; not sure if it was from the particular cleaning spray they used, though I know this wasn't missed at the time of service since I recall this being one of the first things they started to clean. We ended up cleaning this ourselves as well. Edit to add: the reason for this update a month later is because as a first time homeowner, newly moving in, we're slowly furnishing everything and settling in- which is why we're just finding these other things just now. This updated review isn't intended to deter any new customers, but more so to let future ones to look more thoroughly as I should have done. I know Sparkle & Shine is a newer company so there's always room for improvement. I still thank Lina & her staff, as she has always been nice and communicative from the start.

They were supposed to be there at 10am. I was at work and my wife texted me around 10:30 to make sure it was for today and it was 10am. I had her text the contact person (about an hour after they were supposed to have been there) and they said the person who was supposed to come was sick. Ok?? That's fine but when were you going to tell me?? Nobody called me, no message through Yelp. And they can't send anyone else until next week. No thanks. They are the absolute sweetest. If you say what you need done, they will take care of it. I needed a marijuana smell removed, as well as a cat urine pneumonia smell removed and they did.
