Good customer service quick and easy to order. The chain is located inside Seafood city food court which is convenient if you're going grocery shopping and eating out. There was a family pack order placed in the morning for same day pick up, and by 9AM after calling to confirm ahead, it was prepped and ready to be picked up on Christmas morning!! Thank you so much!! The chicken was still very delicious with its light crisp and savory flavors. It's been so long too since I had their chicken so I was happy. I really like how the to-go box had a large lid that allowed for steam to seep out and keep the chicken crispy. We also ordered the chowmein noodles and it was very delicious to eat as well. I never had any problems with the food orders here and definitely recommend!!

First timer... I ordered a Salt & Pepper Pork Chop Rice Bowl and 1 order of Lumpia (6 lumpias per order) to go. The pork chop was done way before the lumpia... so far ahead of time that 3 customers after me got their orders first, and still no sign of the lumpia. The people working have ZERO common sense! They packaged up and covered the pork chop letting it just sit there getting all soggy simmering in its own steam. When I brought it to their attention... they weren't even planning on making me another bowl, they were just going to give me the soggy Pork Chop... until I said something. Still though, at this time the lumpia should have came out. I only ordered 6 pieces of lumpia... why was it taking so long? 20 min later... still NOTHING! Isn't this suppose to be fast food? I lost my patience after a few more minutes, I ended up canceling the order and asked for a refund. After the manager begrudgingly refunded me, she didn't even attempt to make it right by either apologizing for the delay/inconvenience or even offering something... anything... to compensate for the delay and their incompetence!!! When I asked them what was taking so long with the lumpia... the manager said they had to make it from scratch. Really??? It doesn't take 30+ Minutes to make SIX lumpias!!! Even if you had to ground the meat yourself... it still won't take 30+ minutes to make SIX lumpias! I will NEVER return to this place ever again. Bad management and crappy poor customer service, no wonder they got a low rating. Had they told me that it was going to take a little bit of time, I would have been ok with that... at least I could prepare myself, wait, and/or go to the market. Instead... no one said anything about the order is going to take them more than 30 minutes to make 6 lumpias and a bowl of salt/pepper pork chop with rice! read more

This is one of the store that is located inside the Seafood Market. It is a fast food chain too. They had a BOGO deal for the Siopao (Hot Steamed Buns with fillings) on the weekend. Buy 6 and get 6 free. Sweet deal!! So I stopped by to get some. Ordering is done online. What supposed to be a 10 minute wait became 30 minutes. They didn't anticipate the crowd it seems. Us customers are piling up waiting on our orders. It is not also helpful the employee's attitude. She's not being apologetic and unsmiling too. Once I got my order, I left and had some bun in the car. It is good and fresh from the steamer. Even without the sauce. It is good to bring for gatherings and family events but not for dinner parties or anything else. read more

The total was $45 with taxes, which was reasonable given the potion size and quality. It took us two days to finish it. All the food was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. When I politely asked to move tables to avoid nearby customers loudly using vulgar language, she came across as dismissive and rude (whether due to attitude or language barrier, the interaction was not handled well). I ultimately had to move myself just to enjoy my meal in peace. The only bright spot was our waiter, who was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, one good staff member isn't enough to offset the overall experience. I won't be returning.

I visited chowking North Hills, CA. yesterday bought same tahoe and buchi but I was disappointed to see a guy team member in the back who is preparing food orders is not wearing a mask and keep on talking while preparing food. Its disgusting to see irresponsible people not practicing social distancing and not wearing a mask in this Covid 19 time. They are complying in the California guidelines. Noodles Noodles Noodles! I love Chowking's Chicken Mami noodles and the beef wonton. It's hard to find affordable/cheap Asian food these days but for the price of $7.99 you can't beat that! I will also order the rice bowls, too and the Chinese style fried chicken. In my opinion, it's the best fried chicken compared to other fast food restaurants.
