The service was nice with the lady that was putting all my stuff in the bowl. The guy doing the actual chopping seemed pretty annoyed that I asked to add cheese at his station. Great salad and delightful environment! I had the chicken miso bowl and it was wonderful. Great flavors and fresh ingredients. Simple, but done right. It was a nice bonus that you could sub regular rice for cauliflower rice. The staff was very kind and patient while explaining all of their different options. I really love Chopt. It's my go-to spot for salads. The Mexican Caesar is a big favorite of mine. I also like the create your own option. The salad dressings are so yum! My orders from here have always been correct, packaged well, and timely. I will say, it's best to go early in the day. Friends and I went here for a late lunch. I really liked the Mexican Caesar salad; they got the Mexicali Vegan and Kebab Cobb and thought they were alright. I would definitely eat at a place like this if there was one near me; lots of healthy, tasty options! Nothing like a balance of mixed leafy greens, red onions, tomatoes, red peppers, some feta and some balsamic dressing. Wow what a place. I'm from Texas and we don't have anything this good in terms of salad chains. I got the Palm Beach salad with shrimp which was like $11. It's expensive but the salad is really big! It was very tasty and only 240 calories! Wow. The service was super fast! The line was pretty long (lunch time on a weekday) but it was not a big deal! Be careful when ordering delivery from this place. I'm sure if your there, the problem is not the same. What do you do when you order a salad and there is no dressing? The place isn't going to send over dressing. The delivery company is not sending the driver back to get dressing. The bottom line is you have a bad salad. We ordered two salads. One of them had a dressing container in the salad. The other one did not. My wife had the dressing; I picked at the salad a bit and through the majority away. It's disappointing that places don't care more about including everything with to go orders. It's just worse when it's a salad without dressing. read more

I went here with a couple of friends, one of them ordered the shrimp salad they have on special and was given the jerk chicken salad instead. She was highly upset because she is a pescatarian. She will not be returning for this reason , as she got sick for about 2 days after. My other friend while she was ordering the lady behind the counter was very rude (we think because she is racist) and was looking at ME while she was ordering which confused both of us. My salads have both been good for me but the ordering experience is what is upsetting with me. This place is usually packed during lunch time, so it's best to come before 11:30am if you want to get your salad as quickly as possible. I loved getting their Smoky Santa Cruz all the time, and it was the only salad I would order; unfortunately, they decided to change the menu and took it off for good. They can still make a variation of it, but they don't have the same kale they used for the specific salad. Since I got tired of having to point out which ingredients I wanted instead of just telling them Smoky Santa Cruz, I decided to try the Chicken Tinga. The Chicken Tinga is served warm, and they do not chop it up because it would get pretty messy if they tried to chop it. It's good with the Mexican Goddess dressing, and I like it when they use a lot of it on my salad. While the salad is still good its defeats the purpose of the name not to chop up the food. Apparently this started a while ago but I've ordered from here in the last year and my salad was chopped up but I'm being told it was before COVID which is not true. You have to request for it to be chopped but that's not an option during online ordering. Then when I call to ask I'm told they chop everything up in the morning but I have huge pieces of lettuce and whole shrimp. I'm told "oh we chop everything but the shrimp". Ranked only 2nd among regulars to my Yelp friend Donyiel and with 36 recorded check-ins to date, it's obvious this is a favorite go-to lunch spot for me....and judging by the long lines it's the go to spot for many others as well. But it's clear why. Fresh tasty salads (or wraps or bowls) made to order with a ton of ingredients to choose from. My fave is the Mexican Caesar and occasionally I order one of the seasonal blends. Chopt is like the salad version of Chipotle with the line style buffet put together by the servers and very similar to Sweetgreen. They have a decent amount of salad options, the service is very fast and the portions are filling. You start off by selecting the type of salad you want and the ingredients are placed in a bowl. You then move down the line to pay and after that you select your dressing and your salad is chopped and tossed then added back to your bowl. This location is ideal because it's located right across from the metro and very close to many business offices which makes it ideal for lunch. read more
