Visited Chopsticks Express recently with my daughter and her best friend per their request. We were in search of sushi burritos. And that is what all three of us requested. I went with the Fully Loaded burrito while my daughter opted for chicken and her friend, shrimp. We also requested three spring rolls as well as wonton soup. Meanwhile, we filled our cups with fountain drink beverages. A few minutes later, our food was handed to us in to go bags. We removed our food from the bags because we were dining in. We unwrapped our burritos and poured some yum yum sauce on them along with soy sauce. The burrito smelled like seaweed, which wasn't pleasant, but the texture and flavor were very good, especially with the added sauce. The seaweed was a little rubbery, but they have to find a good balance that holds together while also allowing your teeth to tear it apart. Anyway, the burrito was very yummy and filling. My daughter and her friend loved theirs and were wondering where these burritos had been all their lives. The wonton soup was decent as were the spring rolls. The meal was good and I'd like to visit again to try some of their prepared offerings. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! They do not follow food safety protocols, they do not tie back their hair, wear gloves, etc. I ordered mango chicken, orange chicken, and the general tso's on lo mein. After opening mh box, I found a large clump of hair that was in my noodles. I threw out the box and called them to report it and was told that they had taken down my name and my number after giving it to them. They had told me that I could return at a later time and recieve a remade meal. I asked whether it had to be today or not and they had said it could be at any time. After a month of being grossed out and not wanting it, I finally decided to go again. I was met with a complete lack of understanding and immediate persecution because I had no photographed the clump of hair inside my meal, I had not been told by them to take a photo and I am not the type to just keep gross images in my phone without reason. I had told them my name and my number that they had written down and they had demanded I tell them who I talked to despite the person I was on the phone without not giving me their name. After not even being able to order the food in the first place and having to drive around to the window, having to be berated by a worker, and looking inside to see there was absolutely no sanitization or proper food safety and protection, I decided to take my loss and go anywhere else to get myself and my family a meal. I'm disgusted with the service, disgusted with their attitude, disgusted with their food, and disgusted by the situation. If you enjoy chewing on someones hair, by all means go here. read more

ORDERING ONLINE THEFT!!! Be warned of the online ordering service. About two weeks ago I ordered something online through the restaurants website. After but after I selected my item and submitted my payment, the website reloaded without providing any confirmation #. So I went to check for a confirmation email, which was nonexistent. Then checked my bank account for the charge, still nothing. Ended up driving to the store to buy the same thing in person. Did not notice until today while going over my bank statement that the store charged me the $9.70 online order that I never received. I checked my email for a confirmation # message, but still nothing. I called the store to kindly explain the situation. But they claim to have no record of my order and could do nothing to help me. I expressed that I don't necessarily need a refund as long I can pick up the food I was charged for. But they denied that request. Basically, there faulty website charged me for something I never received, and they refuse to acknowledge it. Beyond frustrated and incredibly angry right now PS- they tend to randomly close early. About a year ago, I Placed an order for pick up online. They accepted and processed my payment. I arrived 40min before the scheduled closing time, but no one there. Had to drive 12miles back the next day to get the food because they decided to close early the day before. DO NOT EAT HERE!! read more

Great food! Great portion! Ambiance was great! Service was excellent! Thank you for the good food!

Consistently good food, and good value for the cost. The poke is great here! Can't recommend enough.

I have always driven by Chopsticks Express, but have not tried their food until recently. Why have I not been here sooner? If you're looking for a place to have the whole family to enjoy a meal together, Chopsticks Express is your spot in Parma. With the mall-esq speed, but the luxury to sit and enjoy your meal, this place brings a whole new feel to Chinese dining. Let's talk about how affordable a meal can be! For as low as $6.25, you are able to order one main dish with either rice or noodles. In all actuality, that's enough food to feed about 2 people or 1 very hungry adult. I also ordered a side of crab rangoons to give those a try! Both of what I ordered was delicious and I cannot wait to come back and try their other menu offerings. They actually have sushi burritos available, which I am intrigued to try the next time I stop in! Looking for affordable, fast Chinese food? Have no fear, Chopsticks Express is here... in Parma! Ps. this is not an ad! read more

This is a great COVID-friendly place to get some to go that I can't believe I didn't try sooner! They have a closer Middleburg Heights location but Door Dashing at this location a couple times one night my fiancé and I finally decided to give it a try. They have your typical what I would call mall Chinese food which I tried and thought was good but for me the star of the show was their sushi burrito! Super great combo of fresh and fried dusted in hot Cheetos with cheese dipping sauce! Only in America! And I mean that in the best way!! PS - I ate here again during a recent power outage and food was just as good even though I couldn't see what I was eating. read more

Will definitely be back. Wanted sushi but it normally isn't super filling for me. So when i came by their Sushi Burrito I wanted to try it! It was very good, lots of flavor. If anything i wish there'd have been more shrimp. came with a side of yum yum sauce too. Would recommend. I ordered the salmon burrito and a spring roll. Everything was very good, filling, reasonably priced! My only complaint is I'm not entirely sure what I was eating. Normally it's written on the menu the ingredients or what you're eating. I like knowing what's in my food also because of allergy reasons.. Probably personally wouldn't be back here just because of that but if you don't care what's in your food this place is great for you! Personally I hate asking the employees a million questions so I did not ask. I hope maybe they take up my recommendation. read more

My son absolutely loves this place. Me not so much. But, he wants to stop every time we pass by. If I'm driving, we definitely pass by. I have eaten there and the food is good. I can't quite put my finger on what irks me about the place. The people working there are nice. It's clean. It's just not for me. read more

This place was exactly what I was looking for; quick, affordable, fresh and delicious! I ordered the fully loaded sushiritto and chicken teriyaki with lo mein noodles. The open-kitchen floor plan allowed me to see the chef in action. Upon cooking, the chef delivered the stir fry to the front where the display warmers were. I even got to see my chicken teriyaki cook and all of the fresh ingredients that went into my sushiritto. This restaurant is clean and the staff were extremely friendly. This is NOT your typical Asian restaurant! Even the bathrooms were super clean. : This place blows Panda Express out of the water. I ate here for their soft opening and all was great. I can't wait to come back again. read more

Great place for Chinese takeout. Inexpensive and you get A LOT of food. If you like sushi, the sushi burritos will blow your mind. Sometimes you will wait a little longer than normal, but it's worth it. Food comes out hot and delicious! read more

Who remembers the delicious Chinese food that you could only find in the food court of a mall? That is what Chopsticks Express reminds me of. The Orange Chicken that tastes like nostalgia and like Parmatowns old school Orange Chicken (if you went to Parmatown Mall growing up more than likely you got the orange chicken from the mall). When the mall was knocked down and my favorite Chinese restaurant was closed down I thought I would never get to have that delicious food again. Until one day driving I saw this cute shop as I drove by the old Parmatown mall. I remember smelling it in the car and rushing home excited to try it and I wasn't disappointed like I said nostalgia all in one bite! The only reason I didn't give this place a higher rating is because the last time I had it I was biting into my chicken and I bit into something hard. I was praying it wasn't something gross like a chicken leg or a frog like you see on the news otherwise I'd be done with food forever. I realized it was a bone but not just a piece of bone but a huge bone. The piece I thought was chicken was was actually a bone. It's safe to say I couldn't eat any after that. I haven't been back to Chopsticks after that incident but I am sure I'll be back eventually. Give it a go if you're looking for that delicious nostalgia Chinese food court taste! But be cautious of any bones! read more

Disappointed! The reviews and how busy it was is confusing cuz ours was awful food. Spicy Tuna Burrito rip-off: hard pressed to see OR taste any tuna, avocado, or cream cheese in this, plenty of lettuce and purple cabbage if that's your thing instead, but shouldn't cost $11. Oh and they don't give you wasabi with it!!! We had to ask! Fried Dumplings: there's no menu description of how these are prepared (pan fried or deep fried) or what's in them. The website pic shows pan fried yum, but alas they were deep fried sigh, gross (change your pic to reflect actual product smh deceptive crap). And we have no idea what was inside ??? other than carrots. Crab Rangoon: why are you sweet??? Threw everything out $30 and waste of time. Ended up having to make something else for dinner sigh (more time more money). Takeaway: gimmick fast food sushi clearly not for people with taste or care, and website pics are not the real products but there are no descriptions for most items so that's all you have to go on. read more

I saw sushi burritos on Instagram a while back, but at the time, it was only something you could get in LA or NYC or some other trendy food metropolis. Well fast forward to today, I guess the food trend craze has parked itself in the shadow of what used to be Parmatown Mall's back parking lot. I came here for the burritos. I went through the drive thru and didn't see them on the menu. The gentleman told me that they take a minute to make and they only sell them "in the store." That's fine. So I parked and walked in. The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely, so no problems there. They seem to have ample seating. They have a several burritos to choose from. But I chose the salmon burrito. The guy taking care of me was really nice and handed me a punch card. With each entree purchase you get a stamp. When you get so many stamps, you get $7 off. And most entrees are around $8. Good deal. Took about 5 minutes and I got my burrito. (I mean... I've waited longer in a McDonald's drive thru for fries. I feel like they could put burritos on the drive thru menu, but then again, if everyone is ordering something that takes 5 mins, I see the issue.) Now we get to the food itself. This thing is big. It's not the size of a chipotle burrito, but it's the biggest sushi roll you've ever seen. I bit into it, and it was really kind of a unique experience. I thought it tasted fresh. The lettuce and cucumbers had a nice crunch to it, and it was balanced out nicely by the avocado, crab, and salmon. I thought it tasted like your basic sushi roll, but the experience of eating it as a burrito was worth the price of admission. It's a gimmick, but it's a tasty gimmick. I'd eat here again to try some of the hot food also. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfied I was with Chopsticks Express. This new restaurant near the Shoppes of Parma has delicious food and large portions at an inexpensive price point. Be prepared to wait in line. The line was long and slow, the employees not extremely efficient. The restaurant offers prepared Chinese food that you can get in portions that include 1, 2 or 3 main entrees in your meal. I ordered chicken teriyaki and noodles which reminded me of the old Parmatown food court favorite, Sakkio Japan. Be prepared that they're cheap with their yum yum sauce. Only one is included with your meal and you have to pay for any extra. I took leftovers home and ate them 3 days later and they were just as delicious. I'll definitely become a regular at Chopsticks Express. It was so delicious! read more

Sub par mall Chinese food without the hassle of the mall. I don't really know what I expected but even with the low expectation I was annoyed. It's like a glorified Panda Express. It has a drive thru, and some tables of seating inside, it's pre-made Chinese food in a Panda Express line type of set up and that's really it. I got some lo mein, honestly how can you screw up lo mein?! Welp they did. It was so sticky, my noodles were literally a giant ball of noodle. They have he usual general Tso, teriyaki, orange & sesame chicken, all waiting in their warmers so you don't honestly know how fresh your food is. Price wise it's the same as any other mall Chinese, 2 meats and a side for whatever price. I was hoping it would be more upscaley (sp?) like a P.F. Chang's but no. This place probably won't make it seeing how a Panda Express is right up the street and they can at least get lo mein correct. As far as inside, it was super clean and smelled good, which was a great sign, the sidewalk wasn't shoveled so it made for a great game of when will I slip. I give this place 2 stars out of generosity for the nice staff that were friendly and helpful, but it's gonna be a hard no from me. read more

3-25-23 SATURDAY I viewed the website, looked at the menu and prices, saw a coupon on the site for 50% off second meal, I then drove a half hour to get there and a half hour to get home, that's 4 gallons of gas, approximately $12 only to find out that website information was 3 to 5 years old, WTF!!!!!!!!!,... that is an old switch and, bait tactic... I've ordered several times from here and it has always been a stellar experience. The medium-box is a huge two meat combo box and my usually go-to, but today I decided to try a sushi burrito as I had never had sushi in burrito form. The burrito was above and beyond my expectations, it didn't fall apart, nothing looked like it was browning (avocado, lettuce, etc) and it tasted fresh (which was a concern of mine since I ordered delivery. Ordered the Crispy Shrimp Sushi Burrito and it was AWESOME! This was my first time having sushi in burrito form and I'm not sure I can go back to eating it the traditional way! Lol Only reason they aren't getting a full 5 stars is because I ordered off of Door Dash so I don't know how their customer service/cleanliness is. However, I received my order in 18 minutes so that was very impressive!! I will 100% be returning! read more

Had a taste for some Hibachi so I decided to give this place a try and I was really disappointed. I ordered the spicy tuna sushi burrito and shrimp teriyaki. The sushi burrito was ok. The tuna is not the same quality of tuna you get at a sushi restaurant but it wasn't bad. The shrimp teriyaki was bad. It was flavorless and dry. There was no sauce on just dry rice , unseasoned shrimp and vegetables. The service was ok. It was a Saturday so it was really busy. It seems like the place is fairly new because the employees act like they all just started working there. I will not be going again. read more

We tried this place one night during a move. My first impression was really impressed at the friendly greeting I received walking in the door. The food is delicious. Our favorites from there are the Sushi Burrito's and my son LOVES their rice! The price is reasonable. It may look like your average neighborhood Chinese food joint, but Chopstick Express is anything but! I was craving some Chinese food while visiting my friend in Parma and decided to Yelp a place to eat. Chopstick Express was the one place that caught my eyes, because of the reviews I read and skim through. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! I went online to check their menu and was hit with a variety of food options! I ended up calling them up for a take out because I was on my way back to the east side of Cleveland. I ended up ordering a big entree box (noodle, pepper steak, orange chicken, and mixed vegetables), and a fully loaded sushi burrito (which I was very ecstatic that they have). Went home and try the food out and I kid you not, it was STUPENDOUS! The noodles was cooked just right and the pepper steak and orange chicken was FLAVORFUL and SCRUMPTIOUS! I was so full after that meal I only manage to eat half of the sushi burrito. The burrito was also DELECTABLE and TASTY! Best believe I will finish it when my stomach can handle more food! I can't wait to visit this place again and try all of their other food, whenever I'm over in the west side of Cleveland. They even have a drive thru! Chopstick Express you have a regular customer in me for sure! read more

The sushi burrito is AMAZING, one of my favorite things to eat in the area. It's a shame they don't serve it at the other location.

The best place in Parma Heights. Fresh food. Clean. Nice and Apple Pay! Drive through as well!

Clean atmosphere, Friendly staff. They let us sample the Orange Chicken & Bourbon Chicken which were both very good. Huge portions!!!! Both the white rice & fried rice was cooked perfectly. The chicken Teriyaki was great with white rice & vegetables cooked perfect just that they watered down the teriyaki sauce, but no biggie. I highly recommend. Was curious about their Sushi Burrito but just thought that would be a little too much Sushi to consume like a burrito. Still wondering if they'd make one to order because I don't like masago "fish eggs". Wish there was a California or Avocado Sushi Burrito. read more
