From reading other reviews, I was prepared for a big burrito. I ordered the bulgogi burrito. A bit of a bold choice having just come back from South Korea the day before. (I say that but I wasn't actually eating bulgogi in Korea) Given the size, I was basically rotating my burrito to take bites. I found that the way they wrapped the burrito means that I seemed to always get a decent bite. There weren't too many noticeable ones that were just rice or just lettuce. It's at the size where 3/4's is where I should have stopped but it felt dumb to leave what I had left. The bulgolgi wasn't overly sweet but the sauce on the lettuce meant it also wasn't the only flavor you get. I think it's worth trying out. Holy crap. HOLY CRAP. The hype train is real. Chops truly deserves this 5-star rating. These burritos are MASSIVE. My wife and I ordered two, and it was like carrying a baby. Go to Chops if you're famished, and if you're not that hungry, you'll have a delicious leftover meal. My wife and I ordered: The Kraken Bulgoritto Hands down, the bulgogi (Korean beef) was hands down my favorite. The beef was tender, and I didn't say a word while I inhaled my burrito (that was how good it was). Great flavor all around. Don't forget to add the limes! The limes add a nice acidity that pairs well with the meat, and it was an awesome burrito. The Kraken has a bunch of fried seafood (calamari, cod), and the crunchiness added great texture to the meal. The cole slaw was a great addition too and the burrito was solid for those who are looking to stray away from the meats. Oh man, I have to go back. I want to try the huli huli chicken, and I doubt anyone can go wrong with any selection. They pack the burritos THICC (with two c's), so props to their generosity. CHOPS!!! I've been here 4 times in the past month and it is SO freaking good. Each time I've visited, I've tried something new and I will rate my favorites below: 1. Huli Huli Chicken Bowl - potstickers, grilled chicken and the spicy mayo. So good! 2. Crispy Chicki Bowl - just as good as the huli huli! 3. Sobaritto - super filling but very tasty! 4. Bulgogiritto - this is my husband's favorite and he gets it every time we go! (so technically it should tie for the number 1 spot) I will update my review with pictures next time I go because I foresee myself going again in the next few weeks I'm sure. The service is always very nice and they are very quick with preparing and serving the food. I ordered The Kraken burrito and my friend ordered the Crispy Chicky with Bulgogi fries. Although my order came out super quick while hers took quite a bit of time, my fried seafood tasted rubbery and stale. Each burrito is about $13-$15 before tips I believe, but they're massive so 2 people can definitely share 1 order. My friend and I ended up only eating part of ours. You know an ethnic food restaurant isn't authentic when you don't see many of that ethnic group there. Yes, this is a fusion restaurant but it was not good whatsoever and the flavors were...confusing. The Yelp reviews seem to be very good but this was a big miss for me, unfortunately. This place popped up on my Yelp page so I thought I would give it a shot. Located in the H Mart strip mall, it could be pretty easy to overlook this place, but if you did you would be making a mistake. We stopped in yesterday for lunch and ordered the Bulgogi Burrito, Chicken Katsu Burrito and the Bulgogi fries. You can order either at one of two kiosks or with the cashier. The interior of the restaurant is clean with several picnic type tables throughout. As we sat down and waited for our food, the place filled up fast. Once we received our food, we were stunned to see how huge the portions were. Both burritos were super flavourful. It was impossible to pick which one was better, they were both so good. The bulgogi had a hint of sweetness to it, which just enhanced the smoky taste of the beef. The chicken katsu was so crispy and tender. The fries were crispy and covered in beef bulgogi. The portions were so large I took most of my burritos home. The fries filed me up. The prices are very affordable, the food is fresh and delicious, you need to try this place! I love burritos AND I'm Korean, so I have to admit I had to temper my expectations beforehand, especially since I tend to be wary of most "fusion" cuisines. However, Chops hit the mark and then some! These burritos are huge! And the food is tasty and came out pretty quickly. Also plenty of parking, if not right in front the restaurant, then the giant lot right next to it. It's also pretty cheap, 13 after tax for something big enough for two meals! They do also have women and men bathrooms in the back, estimated four stalls total, which is nice. We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite and this place showed up on yelp. This place is perfect for hungry teenagers and people who wants lots of proteins! We ordered 2 different kinds of burritos, but a half of the burrito was enough to satisfy my hunger. The huli huli chicken was a bit too sweet to my liking, but it was still tasty. The spicy pork one was also yummy with a good flavor of Korean gochujang taste. If this place had a heater, it would have been better. We'll definitely come back here if we are in the area. We were starving while waiting in an impossibly long line at Costco nearby so we searched for lunch options in the area and stumbled on Chops. Luckily, the good reviews were all correct. The place is fairly small with about 10 tables or so inside. When you come in there are a few iPads to order off of. The place was busy while we were there and seemed to do a lot of takeout orders so I recommend calling in if you're looking to get something to go. We got the bulgogi burrito and the spicy pork one to split. We also got some drinks (soda and water) that you pay for and then grab from the cooler. The food came out fairly quickly (around 10 minutes) despite the place being constantly busy. The burritos were massive and insanely delicious. I don't think I could finish one even if I was starving. The bulgogi burrito was delicious and packed with bulgogi, veggies, rice, and spicy Mayo. There was a ton of meat in both burritos and not too much rice, which was nice. But the highlight was the spicy pork burrito. It was insanely good with just the right amount of heat. I wished I had more stomach space so I could have eaten more but they were extremely filling. We also saw a few people getting bowls which were also huge and looked great. I got the crispy chicken (extra meat) and flaming boar (regular meat). If you're wondering whether or not you should order extra meat, just do it. That being said, even without extra meat these burritos are absolutely massive and heavy. I got full after eating just half of one and I usually have a big appetite. Definitely a pro in terms of value. My one wish is a change up in the rice game. Sometimes I felt the rice component was overwhelming and bland in comparison to the other flavors in the burrito, so maybe next time I'll just order it with less rice. read more

Pretty good! When you walk in, there's a kiosk to order at, which is simple to use. I wish there were descriptions of each burrito on it, though, instead of just their names. We ordered two burritos- the Bulgorrito, and the Flaming Boar. At first glance, they were big, bold, and beautiful! I later realized the aesthetics were a bit misleading because all the meat was bunched up in the middle so that when sliced, it looked jam-packed with meat. As I ate past the middle, the meat disappeared and it was more salad, sauce, and rice. These fillings tasted good but come on, I wanted meat there, too. The jalapeños and lime on the side added a great complement of flavors to make the burrito taste slightly more like a fusion burrito. Who knew lime would go with bulgogi?! I really liked it. I enjoyed the Bulgorrito more because the meat just had that delicious sweet & seared beefy flavor. My husband enjoyed the flaming boar (spicy pork) more. It had a little kick of what I believe is gochujang (fermented pepper paste) cooked into it. I wish the burritos were warm when served. I also would prefer something instead of (or in addition to) salad greens inside, like kimchi or... salsa. Amazing food! I came here after shopping with my family. I had the kimchi tofu burrito and it was flavorful and filling. I was able to eat the first half and take the half home to take for lunch tomorrow so I would say the price is worth it for how much food you get. Wish you would stay open until your hours say. We love you and drove 40 mins, just to be told you can't take orders because your grill shuts down 10-15 mins early. I always get the Bulgoritto and the Bulgogi Fries when I come. Both are packed with bulgogi and sauce. I also like that they don't put as much rice as other burrito places and the slaw is also nice! Burrito also comes with lots of jalepeños on the side and lime. I wish the bulgogi fries came with kimchi or something to elevate it a bit more than just meat, sauce, and fries. I want to eventually try the other burritos they have. The restaurant itself is pretty open and has a lot of seating. Chops is like the Korean version of Chipotle with a variety of Korean meats in either burrito or bowl form, and it's also like the Korean version of Sushirrito. It's not located in the Lynnwood HMart like I had previously thought but instead it's next to it behind the Chase bank. There is a parking lot outside and there is table seating inside. When you walk in you order and pay at the kiosk. We ordered the the flaming boar ($11), the crispy chicky burrito ($11.50), and the bulgogi fries ($6.50). The spicy pork in the flaming boar is both spicy and sweet and I liked the pickled daikon to cut through the fattiness of the pork. The crispy chicky had a lot more spicy mayo on it and I really liked the crunchy texture of the chicken in the burrito. You can really taste every ingredient in the burrito which is always a good thing. The burritos come with lime and I think they brighten everything up. Between the two burritos, I preferred the crispy chicky one more. For the fries, I'm not the biggest fan of crinkle cut fries but they were nice and crispy and the bulgogi was good. I do wish they had more sauce though. Like others have mentioned, the portions are HUGE. They do not skimp on the meat at all and you can see it in all the cross-section pictures. Out of everything we ordered we only finished one half of each burrito and the fries, and the other two halves made for another meal. They have a lot of other really interesting burritos like their bulgorrito and the kraken (fried cod and french fries). I'm definitely coming back to try these other options. We liked the Korean restaurant here before (can't remember which name cuz there have been so many) and we're hoping Chops sticks around at this slightly cursed location. Hubby got the Boar Bowl (pork) and I got the Tofu Burrito. It's so good! I was worried there would be meat so I was very happy there wasn't. The flavor is so good and the tofu was cooked perfectly. It is super messy though so be aware and make sure you have lots of napkins. Hubby really enjoyed his bowl but said there was too much cabbage for his liking. Ok, So! This was a little weird. I was up for a Korean lunch and checked Yelp first as I always do. The menu was short and the top section was "Burritos". The next section was Bowls", which I assumed was Soon (soup). Instead, bowls are a salad with meat and rice. So I interviewed the counterman who explained that a local Korean family had come up with this concept of burrito and salad style presentations of bulgogi. It took awhile to figure out this isn't Korean-Mexican fusion. I ordered the Bulgogi Bowl with a side of Egg Rolls... way too much food for one person. ...and with a Pepsi ($2.50), the lunch was $21. (...you know when you order a salad and a side order, you're not concerned about cost, right?). Ok, so lots of learning takes place here if it's your first time out of the gate. The Bulgogi Bowl, salad style, is a lot like Laotian Larb (look it up). The fresh sliced limes and jalapeño make the flavor of the meat pop out. A sauce (spicy thousand-island?) drizzled over the top pairs well with the meat, but it dominates. I was expecting more of the caramelized onion flavor (typical of bulgogi). The entrée stacks up like this: - steamed rice on the bottom of the bowl - lettuce on top of the rice - cooked bulgogi on top of the lettuce - drizzled sauce all over - sliced lime and jalapeño garnish on the edge. The Egg Rolls (qnty 2) are large and served with Thai sweet chili sauce. They're rich in flavor and filling, very traditional fare. I could only eat half of the meal, saving the other 1/2 as "take-home". I'm not sure the novelty of this fast-food style of presentation will catch on. Gaging from other reviews, it looks like the locals are taking notice. Personally, I favor the time honored preparation of sizzling hot spicy bulgogi with sides of rice, tofu based soon, and ban-chan vegetable sides. ... but I'll give Chops 4-Stars for innovation. The ratio of everything was balanced and on point. I love that there was two different types of chicken in here and the flavors was perfect.
