Very affordable sandwich spot located in a small shopping center. It used to be "the Hangout" but owners switched it to focus on sandwiches. I heard they are selling it so it might change again. You walk in and fill out a ticket circling the type of sandwich you want and any modifications. This system was efficient and allowed for staff to focus on preparing food. I didn't have any changes to mine but friend needed a few things removed and she noted that on the form and they didn't remove them so she had to ask for it to be remade. They did offer free chips for the inconvenience which was nice. The staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. It took about 20 minutes to receive the food. I got the French dip which had a good amount of meat and came with a yummy garlic aioli sauce. I would ask for it without cheese next time because the cheese made the sandwich too greasy and was melting out making a mess. Overall friendly staff and an ok experience. read more

First time coming to this restaurant, we absolutely loved the food and service! The employees were helpful and answered our questions quickly. I had the Krab sandwich and hubby had the French dip. Both were the BEST! The artisan bread was warm, fresh and soft, the garlic aioli was delicious and everything was a great combination of flavors. You can also build your own sandwiches and salads, but I'd recommend trying one of the specialties. We will be making this a weekly eat out location for sure! read more

I went today for my first time the staff was really friendly and greeted me and went over how to order and also their popular items. I I also really love that they have a combo for half soup half sandwich. The combo came with chips and a drink as well. It is very fairly priced especially with how expensive things are. I know I've seen some complaints on Facebook about the prices but to be fair I got a lot of 12.99. The only feedback I would provide is my soup wasn't as hot as I like but I also took it to go. Called in an order for 1/2 wrap/soup combo and a turkey pesto wrap. I was told they couldn't do 1/2 a wrap but could make 1/2 Ceasar chicken sandwich instead. Order would be ready in 15 mins. When my husband arrived 20 mins later not only was the order not ready but there was confusion on my order as well. Not sure why when it was pretty straight forward. The turkey pesto tasted nothing like pesto, just lots of Mayo. The 1/2 chicken ceasar I got turned out to be a very messy turkey w/provolone. 1/2 of the inside was hanging out of the sandwich that I literally had to put it together myself. The bread didn't taste fresh contrary to what is stated. Had to throw away the broccoli cheddar soup which tasted bad. Not to mention the small size was $3.99! Don't recommend it at all. Overall a very disappointing experience. From the service to the order, right down to the food. They also charge extra if you use your debit card which is ridiculous. read more

Delivered without green pepper (the note on my receipt says "no green pepper" but I didn't ask to remove the green pepper. Barely any mayonnaise and no Italian dressing which would have helped the dry bread. Portion size of meat & lettuce was sad. Overall an expensive disappointment. Given the wrong bread, which I believe they noticed before even giving us our order as it was the only sandwich without the order tag included. Bread to fillings ratio on all the sandwiches was way off, and the rolls themselves were not that great. They were also out of a lot of items, and were very slow despite there being no orders in front of us. Also a bummer there's no size options, tough for a stop with young kids. 1st time was awesome. Ordered togo and paid for xtra meat. Got home, It was all meat, hardly noticed the bun. Next time, ordered and paid for extra meat togo, got home. I was so hungry scarfed 1/2, mmm delicious not as meaty, looked under bun of other half. Literally 2 pieces of meat folded over to look like more. They give you an excuse about a receipt not being able to print. Too bad, it's delicious, but you literally have to check your sandwich before you leave. Don't know if I'll go back. If I do I'll eat there and complain paying for extra meat if they don't put it on the sandwich. read more

We ordered the hot Nates Ruben (rate 9.5/10) one of the best I've had. Very soft bread, lots of meat, sour kraut was still a bit crunchy and not over powering, loved it. My wife had Italian Stallion (rate 9.5/10) bread was soft good amount of salami, good amount of ham and likes the peppers and olives, good ratios of everything she said. We also split the cesars wrap( 6.5/10) it wasn't bad but was a bit dry, too much tortilla and was a bit hard, not too much filling, good croutons and chicken in it though. We split had the big brownie,(rate 10/10)was big, thick, fudgey, and had big chocolate chips in it. Sandwiches are worth and reasonably priced, glad they have a great sandwich spot in Galt! I've called every time I order, and it's super fast and easy. People complain about their ordering system but I've personally never had an issue. They are welcoming every time I come in. I feel like the price is very reasonable for the amount of meat you get into the sandwich. I also think the sandwich is so good. I wish they had sliced pepperchinis but I can live without them lol. I typically do a build my own sandwich . My husband likes the choppin French dip, my sister in law likes the choppin club. read more

I got a turkey cranberry sandwich. It was on sourdough because they were out of artisan. The bread wasn't chewy and soft like a typical sourdough, it was dry and bland so that was a bummer. The sandwich was also light on fillings. Needed a bit more turkey, more lettuce, thicker sliced tomato and more cream cheese. This sandwich could've been great but it was very mid. My husband however got the meatball sub and he liked it. I always try a place twice though and will be back to give it another shot. I'm just hoping they take reviews into consideration and improve on these things because I'd love to make this a regular stop. read more

My pregnant friend and I came at 3:30 to get food and try it for the first time, and the workers turned us away for being closed (even tho everywhere online is saying it's open until 7pm). I came in on the 12th of January and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I was recommended the French dip and it was one of the best French dips Ive had in a long time. The environment is very nice and welcoming. A very nice little sandwich spot, the two dudes that helped me were very nice and were working really hard to get sandwiches out, it was pretty busy around 1pm. My sandwich had lots of meat on it and the garlic sauce is fire. I should of taken a picture of the sandwich to post with the review but even days later I feel like this place deserves a 5 star review! Will be back! read more

French dip lacked the amount of meat a true french dip should have and it was a tad greasy but still enjoyable though. Italian Stallion was very good. The food was really good! The sandwiches were stuffed really well and have a lot of flavor. I got the French Dip, and it had so much flavor, filling and it was just SO good! The staff are really nice as well. I see them working really hard to get them orders to their customer. Very nice and great service there! This places is so good! We used to go there when it was the Hang Out and now love it just the same. Everyone is super friendly and they greet you upon walking in. The staff is very helpful and will help with any questions you may have regarding ordering. Ordering is a little different but it's effective and it works. I've only gotten the French Dip every time I've gone because it's AMAZING! They sandwiches are LOADED with meat which is a plus in my books. My coworkers have tried other sandwiches and they seem to love it as well. It's also great that they have a lot of different other food options; sandwiches to choose from (hot or cold), build your own sandwiches, soups, salads, power bowls and wraps. There's so much to choose from and we literally want to try everything on their menu. Their food is very filling, trust me you will be full after eating one of their sandwiches. Oh, and their brownie! It is SO good that I finished the whole thing by myself (in one sitting and it wasn't small). It was super moist and chewy like how a brownie should be.
