We both ordered the traditional breakfast plates and it definitely did not disappoint. It was a pretty large breakfast with bacon, eggs, potatoes, a croissant and two crepes with your choice of hot sauces around the table. We ate so much and still had so much to bring home. This did us good for two meals and I loved the incorporation of the crepes, which I feel like you normally don't get on a traditional breakfast plates. The potatoes were crispy and crunchy on the outside but a very nice soft potatoey texture on the inside and of course the bacon was exactly how bacon should be when you order it. Wished I ordered orange juice or another coffee drink instead because the chai latte was just a bit too sweet for my liking, but I still drank the whole thing. There was a water dispenser provided with to go boxes self serve which I really appreciated. Loved the atmosphere as well and the bathroom was very clean. I would definitely come here again and would recommend :-)

The breakfast burrito was large, and I was able to save half for later. The eggs were fluffy, and there's a good amount of bacon inside. It came with two sauces and I LOVED the chipotle aioli! The burrito was a bit pricy, but at least the portion was large.

There is a small free parking lot right out front, otherwise free street parking is also easy to find. Inside is large enough to dine in, but I always get it to go. They do have a pretty large menu with a lot of great options on it and I love that they have smoothies and drinks as well as food items. I have tried a few different things here, but this past order I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and added avocado and honestly really liked it. The ciabatta bread was crispy and the the chicken was perfectly spicy and I just really enjoyed it. The dressing on the side salad was also terrific. I would recommend if you are in the area.

So knowing they're also here in West Adams with a plus point that sit down space was provided, so obviously I was giving it a go. They did have shared free parking lot with some other tenants within the complex, giving it another bonus point. Price was pretty affordable for the portion. I got their Dolce Latte and I was pleased that temperature was pretty hot just like how I fancied my hot coffee. Typically I was disappointed by the lukewarm one that I mostly had to request my drink being extra hot. This one served it just right despite I forgot to mention it when ordering. The coffee was sweetened with condensed milk and I thought it's a decent cup for being less than $7

DAMO 100% uses ceremonial grade quality and probably 5-6g of matcha per serving!! Parking here may be difficult to find on the street, but they do have valet, too. On a Saturday afternoon, this spot is packed and quite hard to find a place to sit. Wi-Fi is available, though note that plugs and seating may be another issue. Not every spot comes with a plug, and it's going to be full, so you may need to wait 15-20 minutes. It is indeed a small spot, so if you're looking for a quiet spot to work, this might not be it. The interior decor, though, is quite clean aesthetically and is relaxing to work in. The Matcha Latte, though, let me say if you're in need of an afternoon pick-me-up, this will keep you energized, even without the sugar! A few sips in and a half cup later, I had so much energy I could probably run a marathon if I had the right shoes (and I don't even like running).

It is cozy and cute, a good spot for small groups. There are QR code menus on the table so we reviewed the breakfast options and decided to share the breakfast bowl and a churro waffle. plus cafe de olla for each of us. Of course as soon as the waitress walked away, she came back with a beautiful plate of enchiladas for the table next to us and we realized you can order the entire menu all day? This was a bit annoying since it wasn't explained to us, but my friend suggested we share a mole chicken taco to try one other savory hot dish. The breakfast bowl is more like a salad, really nice fresh greens, roasted cauliflower and sweet potato and a lovely poached egg. It could have been a bit more flavorful, maybe some beans to add more protein, but it was good for a break from all the heavy holiday dishes. The mole chicken was right on the edge of being dry, but the mole was tasty and the portion of meat was large. The churro waffle had just a light cinnamon dusting, I was expecting a bit more of a crunch and sweetness. The fruit topping was fresh and yummy and the whipped cream seemed fresh as well. Overall it is a cozy spot and I would go again and try other dishes on the lunch menu.

While my wife likely already knew this, I was constantly on the look for little cafes and roasteries that we could try each morning. Although that didn't happen every day, one afternoon we were in need of some caffeine and stumbled along Fika Fika and I am so happy that we did. One of my two favorite places that we stopped for coffee while on our trip, this place is deceivingly large inside, and all decorated in ceramic earth tones and white. It's actually a very calming feeling, almost like a deep breath in. The only thing that was a little bit annoying was there was no parking and street spaces were the only option. However, that seemed to be a trench of several of the areas we visited, and coming from Philly, I totally understand that obstacle of difficulty and would never hold it against them. Especially once you discover how delicious the coffee is after getting inside. When we were there it was nearly dead, which was a nice respite from the day, as we were all pretty worn out from the morning. So it provided a nice break in a quiet space where we could also get a nice hot or iced drink and stop for a few minutes. Their espresso was delicious, not overly robust and burnt as so many American-palate-focused espressos are apt to be, and felt much more after a European or Italian style of pulled shot. My cappuccino was excellent, and they even poured the shots in macchiato style over top to give that bit of different flavor profile and drinking experience. I was so impressed, I even picked up some bagged, roasted coffee for friends to gift when we arrived home, and some for myself, which I enjoyed thoroughly for a week or two after our trip had come to its conclusion. If you are in LA or passing through and need good coffee, Fika Fika should definitely be on your list of "definitely stop" places. Their mochi paws were okay, but that's not why I was there. I was there for the coffee and that's exactly what they deliver in spades. Delicious. Perfectly outed and crafted. Coffee!
