Delicious breakfast sandwiches!! I'm so glad we found this place on our trip to Acadia. You order online and within 15ish minutes you can pick it up from the store. I got the croissant with cheddar and chorizo with extra egg, tomato, and avocado, and it was BOMB! Stayed warm throughout our drive to the trailhead for the day, too. They have plenty of other breakfast options, and very customizable breakfast sandwiches, would come back again! read more

Cute, quick, and convenient coffee shop on the Main Street of Bar Harbor! It was so good I came here two days in a row! Due to COVID, you order at a window instead of going into the shop! They have markings on the floor to allow for proper social distancing, and have a good amount of tables available for outdoor seating. On day one I ordered a regular iced latte, it was soooo good! Hits the spot after a morning hike! Their coffee is good, and not bitter! On the second day, I ordered the chocolate-latte, and that was fantastic as well! It tastes like a fancy chocolate milk, I recommend. If you find yourself looking for a coffee fix in Bar Harbor, this is the perfect place to try out. read more

I always want a bagel and coffee in the morning so I oped out of the bed and breakfast's breakfast. The bagel was delicious and the coffee was really good. A word to the wise: DEFINITELY order online and go to pick up. I did that and I'm very glad. The line (9am on a Monday) was so long and kind of chaotic. My pick-up time was exactly as estimated so I was pleased. The wait staff was friendly and patient even though they were being swamped. read more

Ah-mazing. We stopped here after hiking the Cadillac Mountain one wintry morning in January. It was snowing lightly and all the other coffee shops in Bar Harbor were closed but this one. And not only did they have free wi-fi a comfy dining area with unique chairs and art, and house made bagels. It was heaven. We sat in the large windows and had a choco-latte, a latte, an apple brownie, and a bagel. All were amazing. The apple brownie was unique, no chocolate, cream cheese frosting, just yummo. The food was just what we needed after our four hour hike. The place was quiet and comfortable and warm. The service was super friendly and loved it. There was no rush, and I enjoyed that part too. The bathrooms and dining area were clean and we got parking out front even though there seemed to be a good steady flow of customers coming and going while we were there. read more

Okay. Talk about a welcome respite from the bitter cold. I'd just come from Sand Beach and needed to warm up. Enter Choco-Latte! Was super bummed that I was too full for tacos; saw several people eating them and they looked and smelled super delicious. I did, however, have room for a Spicy Mex hot chocolate and I was delighted by the subtle spice blend. So many times, Mexican styled hot chocolates are only cinnamon enhanced, but not here...I loved the warming blend of ginger and cinnamon and maybe clove? So so good. The subtle addition of cayenne too? So delicious. I'm a fan and already craving another. read more

Bottom line: Great coffee, great muffin, great vibe. Pros: We had a cortado, hot chocolate, chocolate chip muffin and half a dozen truffles. All were very good. Seating was ample and there were games we could play. That made us feel welcome. The bathroom was clean. Cons: Their breakfast sandwich selection is vague and I think it is limited. For instance, they have bagels (I think). So why not offer a cream cheese and smoke salmon option? More options would have made it a go to for us for breakfast. read more

Very interesting concept, and we had passed by a few times, so we were excited to try it out on our last day in Bar Harbor. My wife and I each ordered choco-lattes, mine with regular milk and hers with almond milk. Both of them tasted great, and we were glad that we decided tor try it out! We also bought a coffee for my MIL, who later wanted some more and got a refill. They're not free, which is fine, but unfortunately she had to line up again to pay for the refill. Maybe it could work to have a separate place to pay for those? Overall a good experience, and I'd stop in for another drink! read more

Paid extra for oat milk and got regular because it tasted like regular milk and I got all symptoms of lactose intolerance after a few sips. Had my friend taste it too because we ordered the same exact drink and hers tasted like oat milk and mine didn't. Very annoyed with this. I would have gone back for my money but I went very close to closing time and I'm leaving the city tomorrow early in the morning. Ruined the rest of my night. The sad part is I got the choco latte yesterday with oat milk and it was delicious so today I ordered the larger size of the same drink and made my friend get it too. But getting the milks mixed up is a really bad mistake which is why I gave them only one star. Called them to talk to them about this and they didn't even bother to offer to give me my money back. Just told me that they regret that this happened. read more

I've been here twice. Once last year and once this year (today actually). Both times the coffee was watered down and tasteless. I don't understand the recommendations for this place. They don't even add sugar or cream to your expensive watered down coffee. You have to do it yourself at a dirty side table with tiny sugar packets and box containers of warm milk. For charging me almost 5 bucks a coffee I would expect I wouldn't have to actually make it myself. Sorry I tried. I can't find a single thing about the coffee here that's worth it. read more

They're absolutely delicious when still warm and fresh out of the oven and they bake them pretty much all day, so they're just about always fresh. One of my favorite ways to enjoy them over the years was to get the maple butter and blueberry jam and mix the two. The flavors of the butter, maple and blueberry all complimented the savory flavor of the popover. However, this year I was disappointed to see that they no longer are offering the maple butter, even for an upcharge. Please bring this back, it really took the popovers to another level! Maybe whip it into thawed butter instead of hand mixing it to make it easier? The whipped butter is easier to dip in and spread anyway. The new pre-packaged / mass produced butter packs take away from the appeal of a freshly-made popover. Sometimes in the morning it can be a little crowded in here with people waiting for their coffee / drinks to be made by a counter not far from where you place your order, so if you're walking in and haven't ordered yet then check if the people standing around are just waiting on coffee or waiting to order. It would be a nice improvement to see some separation (maybe with some ropes or floor markings) to make it more clear who is in line to order and who is waiting for their beverage to be made. It's worth noting it's takeout only and there's nowhere inside to sit, but there are some benches just outside on the sidewalk where you can have your popover and coffee.

It was quite undercooked/ raw, so be cautious of this especially for a child to eat if it has raw eggs in it at all (not sure if it does) The lobster Benedict was just okay. It needed more flavor. The biscuits were incredibly dry. The Benedict had overcooked poached eggs and the most liquidy hollandaise sauce (you can barely see it in the picture). Maybe still worth a second try but there were multiple other really good spots to try here.

This is a great place if being disrespected by astonishingly rude hipsters makes your coffee experience excellent. I have been there a few times and the coffees are not that good. The pastries are made of drywall, it seems. The chocolatte is something you can make at home without the added feature of paying for the privilege of being snarled at by a neckbearded, tattooed ironist. Don't be silly. Coffee is more fun almost everywhere else. read more

The close the shop more than 20 minutes before the hours they are designated to close- online AND on their door. We walked 30 minutes just to find they were closed. read more

Attractive space and friendly staff. Very passionate about coffee. They have several single origin varieties and be them very carefully.

Over rated food and they are disorganized, they will screw up your order. People who ordered after you will get their orders.

We ordered an iced chai, lavender tea, and bacon breakfast sandwich. Everything was very good! The biscuits are some of the best I've had and left us wishing we had ordered more.
