I really want to thank Chris and his team at CHL Services. For years, I have saved SO MANY "pins" from Pinterest "just in case" I ever had the opportunity to redo my kitchen. Lets be honest, it makes us feel better to "pin" stuff LOL! But, finally we had the opportunity to redo our tiny kitchen! We decided to meet with several contractors because we had a budget and not only wanted a good price, but also quality work! It's crazy to say, but a couple of contractors never even communicated after our initial meeting. But, after talking with other people, this is a "norm"! NOT with Chris at CHL Services... He is a top notch business owner who not only truly cares about his customers, but also takes so much pride in what he has built for his company and what he stands by. Chris and his crew removed wallpaper and painted my entire upstairs as well as our garage and installed new shelving in the garage. They also pressure washed the deck, house and sidewalk and installed new storm doors on all the outside doors. They replaced all the bathroom countertops with granite and replace all the faucets as well as installed granite around the garden tub in the master bath. They were prompt in getting to the job everyday and finish within the time frame that they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves each day before leaving the job and never left a mess. We had CHL both provide and install a replacement water heater as our old unit was old and leaking. While giving the estimate I was given a detailed explanation of what needed to be done and how they would do it, as well as multiple price points. At both the time of estimate and the time of service CHL were punctual, friendly and professional. The work was to a very high standard and everything that was done was well explained. There was no debris left once they were done and other than the new water heater the house looked exactly as it had before they arrived. The final price even came in slightly under the estimate. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from CHL. Chris removed a load barring wall and added a support beam to open up my kitchen. I forgot to tell him I changed my mind on the length so as he put in the new beam it was not what I wanted. He had absolutely no problem removing that beam and putting in a new one to make it how I wanted, and all with a smile on his face. The absolute best part is that he also replaced some rotted wood in another area and sent me an invoice for less than what was originally quoted. THAT. NEVER. HAPPENS. We used CHL Services to build an elevator shaft and to upgrade our master bathroom. Both jobs were complicated and included many smaller jobs, but Chris and his guys thought everything through and were very diligent to do a superb job. I don't want cheap or inexpensive--I want value! I feel that CHL provides value. I appreciate efficiency and CHL hits the mark in this department as well. I've used CHL Services for a numbers of projects around my home- large and small. I first contact Chris about some drywall repair in my kitchen after having some electrical work done and the results were fantastic! Since that first project, CHL also installed a nearly 300 square foot deck on my property and installed BEAUTIFUL french doors that open up to said deck. Hired CHL for a deck staining project. It took awhile to find a good window of time to come out due to the weather, but the front office was great at communicating throughout. The team was on time, efficient, and polite. We had nine inches of snow a week after they finished (see above note about finding a good window of time) and the deck held up beautifully! We wanted to have the deck on our house screened in using screens as large as possible to keep an unobstructed view. Chris and his team did just that.
