One of the worst spots to get food from. The workers are very nice, but the food was really not it. Husband said his orange chicken tasted like frozen nuggets that were deep fried. My tofu didn't taste fresh, very chewy kind of like rubber. Lo mein was unusually dark and the noodles over cooked. Am wondering if the lo mein was old possibly. I really wouldn't recommend this place, I saw plenty of great reviews and was expecting much better. Best Chinese food we've had in a while. We've been to many in the Woodbridge/Dumfries/Manassas area and haven't been able to find anything that was really edible. Solid 4 1/2 if half stars were allowed. Ordered one large General Tso's chicken with lo mein noodles, one medium Orange chicken with lo mein noodles, one large Orange chicken with fried rice. Added two chili oils for the spice lovers. Ordered online, was quoted an hour, came almost thirty minutes earlier, food was steaming hot. Did not try the fried rice but m and dad really enjoyed it with their Orange chicken. Boyfriend and I really enjoyed the lo mein noodles, he loved his General Tso's especially with a bit of chili oil--i thought his was a bit better than my Orange chicken (which I thoroughly enjoyed, just next time will get General Tso's if craving something similar) but with a bit of chili oil added to mine it was just hot enough, and very very tasty. All in all an enjoyable meal and we definitely will order again. Parents want to try Chicken with cashew nuts and chicken fried rice, I would like to try some of their non spicy offerings with that chili oil to customize my heat level :D read more

Heard amazing things about their version of bourbon chicken so I decided to give it a try. First allow me to state that inside the facility was very clean and well laid out. I was welcomed immediately and the staff (including the cook) acknowledged me with light and pleasant conversation which I really enjoyed. I selected the bourbon chicken. Brought it home and after opening up the package, I was impressed with the overall quality/presentation. The food was still hot and smelled delicious. The sliced chicken thighs were well cooked and was served with broccoli and a heaping serving of steamed white rice. Although the bourbon chicken was good, it did lack the anticipated flavors that usually are aligned with bourbon chicken. We ordered chicken & vegetable dinner, edamame and vegetable appy. The egg rolls were dry, unflavored and stale, edamame was very good, and the dinner was just ok. Before I get into the review I would like to first note that despite having FOUR signs that say they accept Discover, Amex, Visa etc, they do in fact NOT take Discover card. Ordered Beef Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Chicken Dumplings, and Carb Rangoon. Overall the food was OK, not the worst but also not the best. The Beef Lo Mein was pretty average, the crab rangoon were very small and needed more filling. The orange chicken was about average as well, not the best ever but better than most others. The dumplings were dry which is weird to say but they definitely needed something extra. As were the noodles with the orange chicken, just very dry and needed something more. Prices are definitely better than most places, and they let you choose sizes, but the "large" size is about what you'd expect from any other Chinese restaurant normally without any size choice. read more

Hmm Don't know what going on with this place but my last visit was not that great. Not sure if it was brought by new owner . It still good just not the best as it use to be. Large General Tso Chickens 3/5 ($12.99)- The chicken sauce was still yummy and nice and crispy. However I am not sure why it so much batter on the chicken compare to before. I even got couple chunk of batter with no chicken in it. Seafood Hot Sour Soup 3/5 ($8.99)- The soup base was not sour or spicy enough it was really basic. There was barely any seafood in there like 2 mini shrimp, 2 mini scallop, 2 squid pieces and i am not taking about the normal size, i am talking about the mini kind that come in ghetto fajita mix for $3.99. The biggest thing in the soup was piece om imitation crab meat stick I would probably still come back but just trying something else read more

This is the best Chinese place in northern Va period, other than Peking Pavilion in Arlington. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. I never feel short changed or as if they skip on quality. Never had a bad experience here and I've tried several different dishes. read more

Did takeout from Chiyoshi for the first time. The lady at the counter was very nice. I got the combo rice noodle with Singapore sauce which is a very mild spice. The order came very quickly so I didn't even wait long enough to get caught with Words-with-Friends. The noodles were delicious! The combo is basically beef, chicken, shrimp, and some onions (was expecting more veggies). But they were very generous with the meats, there were quite a number of prawns in the noodles. Enough so that I didn't even count how many. I usually hate fusion restaurants and basically refuse to eat in them. But since the selection for Chinese food is slim in Woodbridge, I decided to give this place a chance. Good stop. I've not been to a quality Chinese food restaurant in the 6 years I've lived here. I stumbled on this place via Yelp and ventured out. First, it very clean and the staff friendly. I noticed them cutting up fresh chicken through the open kitchen and how clean the flattop grill and overall restaurant appeared. The person who took my order was patient and recommended a few items. I ordered a wide variety of foods, triple delights, shrimp fried rice, chicken lo mein, General Taso chicken, 2 shrimp and 3 veggie egg rolls. The lo Mein was tasty. The shrimp fried rice was perfect along with the General Taso chicken. I think the seasoning could have been more aggressive salt and pepper as well as heat for the triple delight--given it has beef, chicken, and shrimp in the dish. The egg rolls (both were not great--they were fried nicely but I was not a fan of the consistency of the filling nor taste). Overall this is a win. Will I come back sure. Do I recommend it. The food was ready 10 minutes after I ordered it, and it was piping hot and smelled great! The lady on the phone was just as friendly in person as she was on the phone. They have a nice waiting area, but it was not needed today! This restaurant is in a brand new building, which means brand new kitchen. This alone makes it special in compared to other Chinese restaurants in Woodbridge. Not to mention an open kitchen! Amazing! The food itself is great, I got the general tzos chicken. A classic test to try their food. It is yummy and high quality. Both the chicken and broccoli are flavorful! The rice also was excellent.
