I am so glad I found this place. It's really hidden on the lower level of Tackett Mill. You cannot even see a sign from the street. The food and service is great. I ordered vegetable fried rice and General Tao's Chicken and had it for dinner and breakfast. Although I saw seating room, it was blocked off. I LOVE this place! Take out only (since they closed eat-in and stopped delivery during Covid). I hate to eat any other Chinese food! Their spring rolls (vegetarian) are the best ever! We ordered every week when there was delivery. It's much less often now but boy is the General Tao's shrimp delicious! We also enjoy the spicy shrimp fried rice, regular fried rice, and shrimp with broccoli. Have yet to order a dish we did not enjoy! I ordered takeout. The timing was a bit longer than the online system said, about 10 minutes longer. They have coupons which are attached to the paper menu but are not online. They let me redeem one in person, which was nice. Orange beef, steamed dumplings, and seafood combination were all good with generous portions. The chicken noodle soup was okay. I'll reorder from them again. As Woodbridge area Chinese goes, it's one of the better options. In follow-up orders, some of the dishes were a miss, including the beef teriyaki sticks (the beef was not good quality) and the General Tso's chicken (too many of the chicken cubes were hard or chewy & inedible). read more

Came from out of state and this was closest to the hotel. Probably the best Chinese take out we have had... ever. The sesame chicken has a bit of spice in it that makes it perfect. The beef lomein is great as well. read more

I have been in Woodbridge for 8 years now and I have tried several Chinese places but this is by far the best. I first heard about this place from my co worker who love their food. Some Fridays we order from them at work and the delivery time is good. Their general tso chicken is my favorite. I have also had others like the Singapore rice noodles, chicken lo mein, chicken fried rice and more. Portion size are large and prices are reasonable. Their location was hard to find the first time I picked up food but no big deal. They are very nice people. read more

When I first moved here I tried this place out. It was fantastic! Tried other Chinese places in the area and wasn't a fan. Ordered from Panda again last night and I was pleasantly surprised yet again! Probably the best spot in the area. Other people had different reviews regarding the meat dishes but we only eat vegetarian and vegan dishes. The vegetarian options here are really good, especially the CHOW FUN! Also ordered GENERAL TSO'S BEAN CURD (Tofu) and it was really good, same for the VEGETABLE CHOW MEIN. Haven't been disappointed with this place, and I will definitely return! Recommended read more

Hadn't ordered from here in a while, but wanted to "switch it up." Ordered some pretty basic stuff (General Tso, Cashew Chicken, etc.). When I used to order regularly from them, they were FAST. Not this time. At about an hour, I called the restaurant. She said that the driver was "on his way." About 10 minutes later, he showed up. The restaurant is literally a 3 minute drive from our house, so either we were at the end of a LONG run of deliveries or it just took a lifetime to put it together. When the driver did arrive, he was EXTREMELY rude to my kids who answered the door. I was shocked. Because of the driver, this place will NEVER get my business again. The food was "ok." The one thing I am always shocked at is the size of chicken pieces in the General Tso. The pieces are huge. That sounds good, but in reality makes it hard to eat (who wants to need a knife with chinese food???). Bottom line is that I won't order from these guys any time soon because of the VERY long wait time and rudeness of the driver. read more

Ordered takeout and ordered the hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, and peking duck. The lady who greeted me (I'm assuming was the owner) was very friendly and kind. Very enjoyable experience just with interacting with her. The food came out fresh and hot and every single thing I ordered was delicious. Peking duck can esepcially be a hit or miss depending on where you order but the peking duck here was also very well made and tasty! Definitely will be eating and ordering here often. Every time my hubby's cousins come over, we end up ordering out from here. Like we did tonight. The food is good, not exceptional. Panda offers standard Chinese fare. I like the Peking Duck, which I would not expect being good quaility from a hole in the wall type place..but it is pretty decent. Not as good as Mark's or Peking Gourmet..but still passable. We all shared a bunch of entrees- the duck, a spicy chicken dish, mo shu pork and curry tofu. They do offer eat in, but I have yet to check out that scenario yet. read more

By far one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The portions are amazing and the food is really good. My kids wont eat at any other place. I always get the kung pao tofu and its always great - I can usually get 2-3 meals out of one order! Spring rolls are good. My son will only get plain lo mein and they do it up perfectly..... their lo mein is big fat noodles, and enough to last for 2-3 meals also. Don't do delivery as it takes a lifetime to get to you usually and it takes a while for them to cook the food so don't rush over - but its all worth it. We usually don't get more than the lo mein, tofu and a bunch of egg rolls and its never over $28 - and portions big enough for more than one meal....what could be better!?! Due to the pandemic the restaurant closed for a little while and I am literally going through withdrawals. I decided to try another place recently and was so bummed by how bad the food was, how expensive it was and the tiny portions. I cannot wait for Panda to open again!!! read more

Yeah, no. It didn't take long for me to convince my Chinese wife that American Chinese food was palatable. Just stay away from the fake foods, and you can do pretty well from the cheap Chinese places that dot the landscape. We've discovered a couple in Woodbridge that will scratch the "cheap Chinese" itch: Hunan Garden makes a good noodle dish (although, if you get it for takeaway/takeout, note that they curiously pile all the meat at the top of the container), and China Express, the place by Lowe's, does a good job overall and excels at cooking their spring rolls for exactly the right amount of time. Panda Chinese, however, is a choice that I regret making. I made the rare choice to order delivery--through Eat Street--and I was punished for my lack of planning. The food is entirely unremarkable, and it took an hour and a half to get here (if this happens to you, don't expect an apology or smart-business offer of a discount in lieu of apology). If you like the kind of "Chinese food" you could make with canned goods at home, eat here. If you want to enjoy your meal, eat at Hunan Garden or the place by Lowe's. read more

So I ordered pad Thai and got a confirmation that the food should be here at 8:23 pm and it arrived at 8:50pm. I take full blame for accidentally not putting the apartment number on the order but then again my phone number was on there. They could've called me before they left the store to get the apartment number. The food was hot but my pad Thai was soupy, they were very scarce with the chicken, and used these thick noodles. Also the delivery driver called me a minute before coming to the door and asked for the apartment and said "ok open the door", there was no please at all. The food here is amazing if I do say so myself. I am chinese and it is hard to find a place that sells good chinese food. I find this to be the best place to get chinese food in Woodbridge. It is a little hard to find, but you come to realize that the area is beautiful, especially in the spring with the lake just a few steps away. When you find the Prince William County Police Field Office, you've arrived. The restaurant is right next to it, under the huge staircase. This is not your typical chinese fast food restaurant because each order is cooked one by one, and made completely fresh!! Unlike some fast food places that has it all pre-made and just sitting there. That's why I don't mind the wait time! Since I know they are taking their time to ensure the meal is cooked and prepared to its best, I don't mind waiting. Also, they do mostly deliveries because that's what they are commonly known for, but I find pickup as the best option because I like to take a stroll around the area while I wait for my food to be ready (typically 20 minutes depending on how busy they are). Also, they serve HUGE PORTIONS!! I always have leftovers for the next day. I have never been disappointed by this place. Their deliveries sometimes take a long time, but my food always arrives hot! Don't forget that they have other customers too and that you aren't the only one ordering for delivery, so sometimes it could take 30 minutes and sometimes it can be more than an hour. Just be patient! I always order Pad Thai, Chicken & Broccoli, Triple Delight, Fried Rice, or General Tso's Chicken (an all time favorite for everyone). Everything is always so delicious and flavorful. But you have to eat it right away! Don't wait to eat it later, it's best when it's fresh. Also, since everything is cooked individually, you can make adjustments to it, if you want it spicy or not spicy, more veggies or less veggies, certain things taken out, or add somethings in (but it can cost extra to add something so just ask). The cook and the waitress are really great people. They have always been so sweet and kind. PLUS, they work so hard because they only close on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Both have been working at the restaurant since 2010. You can always rely on the food to be consistent :) They are both chinese, so this is as close as you can get with american chinese food! Also, this is a family run restaurant, so whenever I come here, it always feels like home! p.s. Favorite Chinese in the Lake Ridge area. I've ordered Chinese food in Lake Ridge area for many many years and have tried most of the local spots throughout my journeys. In my opinion, none of them are my favorites compared to some of the other spots in the greater DMV area; but this is the best place in the Lake Ridge area, IMO. So I saw the reviews on yelp and I really decided to try this place out with my partner... The lady who took our order was really nice and kind (broken english but that's ok). The food did take some time to get here but when it arrived this is what I though: 1) the crab ragoon was burnt 2) the egg drop soup was really delicious..... Ill save the best for last... The General Tso's and the fried rice was amazing.. I was in love... For the price I paid it was worth it!!... What is preventing the 5 stars is the burnt food, the fact that the food was room temperature, and the timeframe it took for the food to arrive. read more

I just recently finally found the Panda Chinese restaurant after always seeing the sign. The first time I went there and ordered General Tso's (Extra spicy) with Pork fried rice, wonton soup and egg rolls. It took them about 15 minutes to make it and bring it out to me. I took it home and it was great. I enjoy General Tso's chicken but most places around here do not make it spicy at all. Panda did a good job. It was very spicy and tasted great. Last night I had it delivered to my house for the first time. Delivery time was about 25-30 minutes. All the food but the wonton soup was hot. I can't complain, their food is good and I enjoy it. I will continue to go there or have it delivered. The -1 star is due to price. I don't understand why it costs so much more than other types of food. read more

I'm not sure if it was the Monday crew, but my delivery took over an hour to get here and the food was not up to par with other Chinese restaurants in the area. Lo Mein was over-cooked, Crab Rangoon was undercooked, and sweet and sour chicken was more batter than chicken and cooked to a crisp. Was not impressed. read more

Best Chinese food spot I have found in the Lake Ridge and surrounding areas. They offer delivery, dine in or carry out and most orders are delivered rather quickly. Portion sizes are larger than average and the prices are extremely reasonable. I would personally recommend the sweet and sour shrimp next time you are there. I have lived near Tackett's Mill for 4 years and have tried all Chinese restaurants around... Meh! Tonight for the first time I ordered delivery from Panda Chinese Restaurant using the Yelp App (first time for that too) and while it took longer than expected (it is Friday night after all) my family and I were extremely impressed. The food was hot, the containers were packed, and the chunks of meat were huge. I used a knife to cut up the General Tso's chicken. Huge chunks of white meat. Everything was great, but the combo Egg Foo Young and the Shredded Crispy Beef were standouts. This is our new go-to Chinese takeout. So happy we finally tried it. I was going to give them 4 stars (they forgot an item), but they cooked it up quickly and had it to my house in no time. They fixed the issue quick enough not to gig them on it. read more
