They had another location prior to this one and one day the owner was extremely rude to me , over a discount deal I was using . Even though had met the conditions for the coupon she was still mean , I promised myself never again would she get another dime from me . Okay fast forward a few years I've mellowed and the location had changed so I decide to give her business another try . Yes I can say that I'm happy my stubborn attitude allowed me to mend fences and go in . The food was always first class and I'm happy to report it still is , they give you so much food there's no way you'll be able to finish so expect leftovers which warmup nicely. The one thing to avoid is their calamari which wasn't very good & even with that they still get five stars . The chicken pad thai I had last night for take-out was probably the best I've ever had, but it's hit and miss. There are times it's really heavy on the sauce, and times it's really good. I keep going back simply because it's the only place to curb my thai cravings that's remotely near my house. Spring rolls are very good--fresh--but my husband did not enjoy the beef bulgogi, not traditional at all. Best Thai food in Savannah. Be careful how spicy you order it though, even a 5 set my mouth on fire. The larb is delicious as an appetizer and is similar to lettuce wraps. Chiriya's is our go-to restaurant for Thai. Their pad thai is delicious and their grilled salad (which is not listed on the menu- just ask for it) is incredible. So much flavor! Be careful though, the medium spice is much hotter than what you would expect for medium. read more

Great food, the staff was super friendly. She recognized my family and immediately was super happy to see them. My stepmom and dad got Thai Beef Salad and I tried it, and let me tell you, that's the best thai beef salad. My dads been to Thailand and he said it's better than the one he got there. The food is super fresh, all of their dishes you could see and taste the freshness. Their Pad Se-Ew was amazing, probably some of the best I've ever had, and I love Thai food. The Pas Thai looks very good, and my friends dad seems to enjoy it. I also got the calamari as a side and it was really good. I ended up getting a Thai Iced Tea, and it was probably the best one i've had. The tea was amazing, and the milk and whipped cream added just put it over the top. Sorry but this is not Thai food or good food. All I tasted was salt. It was so salty I had to take half of it home. After I rinsed my pad see ew with water, I could taste a lot more than salt. It was so much better! Their soup is great but the main course was all terrible and not authentic. There are quite a few red flags in the menu itself: 1) They serve Thai and Hawaiian food 2) They serve Japanese liquor - plum wine and sake 3) 3 cuisines? Is that not enough to make you leave? 4) Pretty pricey for Thai food Some of the worst tasting food I've ever had. Will not be returning. This is the BEST Thai food you will ever have the pleasure of eating. I haven't lived in Georgia for 8 years but still think about her cooking all of the time. The entire menu is delicious, and it's the same exact way every single time you order. This place is seriously the best Thai food I have ever had. I think what sets them apart is that the owner (native to Thailand) does the cooking. I love that in her noodle dishes the noodles aren't over cooked, floppy, and soggy like at most Thai places. There is just enough bite. I also love te beautiful edible flowers on top and the lovely service. I can't get enough of the pad Thai and the drunken noodles. I were being honest I just can't get enough of this place. This place was amazing. Went while on vacation for a late dinner around 8pm. Worth the drive to find a great Thai place. Waitress was super nice and quick with food. I got the yellow curry with tofu, which was really good mildly hot, perfectly cooked veggies. Hubby got massaman curry, which he said was 'some of the best that he has ever had'. I really love this restaurant, it is so delicious and has all of my favorite dishes! I gave it five stars because of their Massaman curry, chicken satay, drunken noodles, spring rolls, pad Thai, sushi, and pho. But what almost made me give them four stars- crab Rangoon and Tom ka soup. Stay far away from those. The crab Rangoon didn't taste like crab Rangoon at all, it was sour, runny, greasy, and had no flavor at all. The sauce that came with it was beyond awful. I can't even describe how bad it was, and the worst part of it was that it dripped one little drop on my shirt and that tiny amount made my shirt smell so bad that I had to immediately change. Even my 4 year old son who would live off of crab Rangoon if I let him wouldn't eat it. I don't know why some of their dishes are so amazing and some of them are so bad, but I hope that they either change the recipe to those things or just remove them from their menu. They're not consistent with how good the rest of their food is. read more

I ordered their Thai fried rice with shrimp and it was gawd awful. They never served anything like that when they were on the southside. It must've been an angry employee(Don't piss off the cook). I called in the order to go. I had it dropped off to me, because I was ill and could not drive. Boy, the disappointment...the rice was greasy and the shrimp were over cooked. It wasn't even appealing to look at. I couldn't even finish it. they need to look at that food before it leaves that restaurant. The portion size was very little. I used to go when they were near the mall. It was much, much better. But, the original owner of the Thai restaurant that was here in Thunderbolt, has long gone...and I really missed him when he left. Someone else bought it, and the menu changed slightly. But, no one, even Chiriya could top him. I had to resort to going to Ele' when it was open on Wilmington Island, and I loved them but they closed. Yes, but the rice was disappointing and the portion sizes were larger when they were by the Oglethorpe Mall. I was too ill to return the food...I just lived with that disappointment, and decided that I wouldn't go back. read more

I love Chiriya's food and I love Chiriya and her staff! I am vegan and never have difficulties ordering from their menu. I especially love the Drunken Noodles and the Summer Rolls are divine.
