Landed in Providence at 9 pm. It was 10 pm when I walked through the door. Everyone was working hard. Some were cleaning, others were filling last minute mobile orders. I asked for a burrito bowl to go. Not a sour face or attitude out of anyone. Everyone was friendly and talkative and laughing. Maybe they don't genuinely enjoy their jobs everyday, and that's okay, but last night I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with them. It was a great end to my night after a long day of traveling. I am so grateful for restaurant workers like these guys. I've been in those situations when I worked fast food. End of the night. You're ready to go home. There's lots to do before you can leave. First of extremely rude, horrible attitude, and condescending tone. Secondly numerous items (bean, lettuce, etc.) were completely out, said it would take 1 hour to replace them. There isn't much to be said besides my burrito, while filling, was a little on the salty side (chicken). My first time at this location. No long line is always appreciated. This Chipotle is disappointing. I'll preface everything by saying that the employees were totally great, no notes. My two main complaints: - The carnitas was tough & in huge chunks, not pulled apart at all. It was very difficult to eat & quite a few big chunks just ended up in my trash. - There was no sauce to choose from? I looked around, but there was no sauce to add to the top of my bowl. Why bother reviewing a chain/franchise? The food is generally consistent from one location to the next. That's the concept. What separates individual outlets, in my opinion, is the site's management. The outward appearance of this location is a lack of management. 6-8 young staff members hanging around behind the scenes, one pleasant server, one server who seemed pained to be there and a guy on the register who had no clue. Meanwhile the floors were filthy, the tabletops smeared with residue from previous patrons and the "staff" chatting away aimlessly. This chipotle is beyond awful. I ordered online as I usually do and then had someone pick it up for me, once she got there they didn't have any record of my order. So she calls me I send her my order and such that they asked for. As I'm still on the phone with her I can hear the worker say I need to get my manager to approve(then the manager wasn't available) she was waiting for 20 minutes after that she asked if she could just order it again and pay for it again the worker said she had to get back in line of multiple people instead of looking at the order that I already ordered and making it. Terrible experience. For some unknown reason you can't order quesadillas in person. So I order a bowl instead. No chicken available for 10 min, rice is all low and gross looking. I ordered takeout from here a few days ago, and honestly I'm surprised at the not great reviews. I ordered a quesadilla with veggies, cheese and sofritas with fresh mild salsa and it was honestly delicious. My partner ordered a burrito and said it was pretty good but for the price he wished it was bigger, especially because he paid extra for more. I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 for him lol. Chips were old and stale. It was like eating plastic. I love spending $11 on old inedible chips. Does anyone care anymore when making your food? $70 for food I could barely eat. Extra tortillas were stuck together and ripped apart. Burrito was not fully wrap which exactly what you want to see when you get food delivery. Forgot the apple juice and fruit for my kids dinner as well. Will not order again. This is the saddest Chipotle's if ever experienced. The dining room is completely trashed. Every eating surface has leftover food scraps and was previously wiped down with a dirty cloth evident by the dried dirty water smears. The floor is even worse with debris everywhere. The food prep area behind the counter is dirtier than the dining area. The drink area has a puddle you must walk through in order to get a drink, there were no napkins or forks. This all occurred at 4:30 pm. I was the only customer in at the time I walked in. 2 workers were seen hanging out in the back chatting and on their phones. read more

So as you further walk in and see what appears to be no self interest in your job, care to customers, and severe lack of cleanliness. They made the ordering process easy and were knowledgeable, plus super friendly. When I was there, there was a hostile customer (being extremely to the employees), Ryan and Steve maintained their composure, they deserve a raise for putting up with this (I'm sure it happens often). read more

Not only was my burrito bowl covered in brown, slushy guacamole but it was missing the corn salsa as well as the tomatillo salsa. Had I seen the guacamole while ordering I would have skipped it and saved myself the extra money. this location is so disappointing. both times I've been here they slap the ingredients into the burrito and roll them so that they explode out the side. I also asked for guac and lettuce and the kid with the red drip tattoo on his arm slaps a pile of cheese on my burrito. I am lactose intolerant I can't have cheese, I tell him that and he picks up said pile and throws it - now with corn stuck in it from the salsa- back into the container without offering to actually fix it.
