The 'Fairview' was a must order and a huge hit. It used a heavy cream base and a house cheese blend. The toppings were house back bacon, gorgonzola sprinkles and pears...yes pears, which made this sucker pop! We also ordered a Lacrosse pizza- olive oil, fresh mozz, red peppers, italian sausage, pecorino and basil. This pizza was really light but packed a flavor punch as well. They have many other specialty pizzas on their menu that also sound amazing, ranging from yellow curry based to ones with snap peas, fried eggs, carrots and more. If artisan pizzas aren't your jam, they have sandwiches, salads, stews and more. To answer my original question...this place is the 2000s Goat...or very close to GOAT. And of course moving on to the beer... the primary motivator to come here. I got the Kölsch beer here called Field Trip. I do love a good Kölsch as they are nice, light bodied beers. And they are especially nice in the summertime. Flavor features in this beer is maltiness, breadiness, a bit of hoppiness and a dry finish. Another beer that Steve and I tried was the INWPA which was a Pale Ale. It was also a nice light bodied beer which again hit the spot despite it being a different drinking session. Flavor characteristics in this beer is citrus, a yeastiness, hoppiness and a biscuity trait. Good beers and sandwiches and we are aiming for a return whenever we are in Spokane again.
