We came here for a family lunch. The store was big and spacious, relatively clean, lots of tables available for dining. The store wasn't busy, there were only couple more customers. We got two bowls and a kids meal. The associates were super quick and friendly. One of them even gave my daughter extra cheese for kid's meal. I loved the taste of my honey chicken bowl. The guacamole and vinegar dressing both were excellent. My daughter loved the tacos, cheese, rice and chicken. We all enjoyed our lunch. The soda machine was only disappointment as it didn't have enough carbohydrate gas, so the drinks were sugar water. read more

I asked the person serving me about the law enforcement discount for correction officers and some female comes out of nowhere with an attitude talking about you got to be in uniform and it's only for police officers. I stated nicely that I've been given a discount in the past and she tells me that's why the previous manager got fired. Her tone and demeanor was rude and condescending. Almost like she has a problem with anyone in law enforcement or corrections. Then she starts trying to take over making my order and messed up my vegetarian burrito. I'm never coming back here again. I've waited a few weeks to post this because I was thinking if it was worth the hassle to speak up or not but I feel she treated me like trash and like I was begging when in reality I wasn't. This is by far the worst Chipotle Location I have ever been too! Aside from the employees having zero customer service skills, everything was limited due to their lack of preparation. We went there around 2:30 a few days ago, and they had no steak, no fajita vegetables, old Queso sauce to the point where it was brown, no corn salsa! They employees give quarter spoon scoops so the portions are ridiculously small and you need to continue to ask for more, more just to get a decent portion. Now to the employees at this location, I have never been to a restaurant where employees actively engage in arguments with customers to the point there is yelling back and forth, not to me when you ask to speak to a manager they refuse to let you! Unless you do not care about how you are treated stay away from this location, cause multiple employees at this location should not be working there, due to their lack of customer respect! read more

She even went to the back to add an item, which made me wonder if she used old food. I've never had an experience like this here before. Probably the worse run establishment in southington. First visit: they were out of shredded cheese and lettuce....don't know how that happens. Second visit: Waited a half hour to get to the front of the line to be told their card reader no longer works and only accepted cash. Both times the location was severely understaffed and undertrained. I highly recommend driving thirty seconds down the road to Moe's. read more

I work nearby so we (my coworkers and I) order here at least 1-2 times a week. We almost always have a stellar experience. I won't go into too much detail about the one time we didn't- because I don't think that's fair to do when 99.9% of the time, this location has been amazing. -1 star for that ONE time when everything went wrong, otherwise this is a 5 star location. I have a lot of issues with the Chipotle customer service (for the company, not this particular store... see below.) This location is great at managing their in-store queue, as well as their mobile order / pick up queue. I always order on the Chipotle app and it's almost always ready when it's scheduled to be (give or take 5 minutes, sometimes it's ready earlier and sometimes a few minutes later. No complaints here.) The staff is mostly friendly, I would say 90% of them are very very friendly, 8% are indifferent there's a small percentage that's unfriendly and easily overwhelmed. The food is always fresh and the portions are consistent with the Chipotle brand. THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO CHIPOTLE AS A CORPORATE COMPANY, NOT THIS LOCATION: If you have any issues with an order, they make you file the issue online with "Pepper" the online chat assistant. It doesn't always work, and it just keeps looping for what seems like forever before you're actually connected to an agent (if you ever are actually connected to an agent). You can only submit one issue per order, so if they mess up all the items on the order (or even if they omit multiple items), you can only get the company to "fix" one of the mistakes. And they won't give you your money back, they'll give you a "reward" towards a future purchase. Which is bs. If I pay for a service or product and do not receive that service or product, I should get a refund. Point blank. That being said, after trying to dispute the issue with their online AND over the phone customer service, I just went back to the restaurant and they settled it for me unofficially, which I greatly appreciate. It's difficult to speak to someone on the phone- the automated system constantly tries to reroute you to go online and chat with "Pepper." It takes a lot of persisting with the automated system to eventually connect with a real person (this applies to both the restaurant phone number and the corporate customer service phone number.) read more

I cannot express how poorly this meal was made. I ordered online. Not the first time (that's on me). I've had issues every single time I've done that. I ordered a quesadilla and my girlfriend (not to brag) ordered a vegetarian bowl. My quesadilla was not fully cut and barely had meat/cheese in it. My other order was a vegetarian meal that came WITH PIECES OF STEAK. There were missing items for both orders. It took effort to make a meal this ridiculously bad. Tried to get dinner tonight. They started my order and it got worse as and worse, they were out of hard tacos, white rice, queso and CHIPs! it was 530 on a sat night. They had started making my meals but no one told me they were out of this until they started making it I only found out about the chips when they told a pick up order they were out. If you're out of so many key ingredients you should tell the customer before they place the order. What little rice they did have was stuck to the pans and you could tell it was dried. I gave an extra star because I felt bad for walking out after they started my order. Knowing the kids meals comes with chips, that should be communicated to the customer before the order is placed. read more

I arrived at 8:30 PM on Jan 10th 2024 and the restaurant was already pretty much closed although it says they close at 10 PM. I tried to order a burrito, but was told the machine that warms the burritos is off for the night. No it wasn't broken and no they didn't run out of tortillas either seemed as if they just rather clean so they can leave early. This is by far the dirtiest Chipotle I've ever gone to. The floors are sticky-no one seems to wipe the tables or chairs as there is a layer of film everywhere. Unfortunately the employees also looked unkempt but I did see them wearing gloves.. Garbage was stacked high in the trash cans. The guacamole was BROWN...food seemed to be running out and instead of refilling the containers, the employee just scraped the bottom to get all the food out. Disappointed, this is our 2nd bad experience in a row at the Southington Queen St. location. We stopped in at 7:30 pm and were surprised by the limited availability of items and even further dismayed by the service and attitudes. Our order would've been 3 bowls and a burrito. For the burrito we were told that the steak was gone for the night. As our bowls were being made the next customer requested steak and was told "it's will be done in a few minutes". When my wife requested lettuce in her bowl, the server and manager refused and stated "the lettuce is being saved for salads". We requested their first names and were told it's against Chipotle's confidentiality policy. We cancelled our order, because it could not be properly completed. We'll not be back. This is not the only time this has occurred . Over the last year of me living in Southington , I have never successfully been able to get good service at this chipotle location . At 8PM , there is never any food left , such as rice , chicken , or beans and I never observe any efforts to rectify this . The servers and/or managers are rude , disorganized , and always appear to be angry and uninviting . The last time I was there , I literally watched a manager disrespect an employee for simply trying to help keep the line moving . Poor girl looked like she was about to cry and the girl who seemed like the manager was less than cordial . The food is cold and they are extremely scarce with their servings . I have waited in line for over 15 mins at times and have had to walk out numerous times due to these observations upon reaching clear visual of the food displays . I'm fed up and should not have to travel to the next town to get Chipotle . This location needs serious help and the manager in question needs to be fired . I was EXTREMELY disappointed by this Chipotle. We went Two days ago. The food was NOT GOOD, after I got home my stomach was hurting the WHOLE TIME. First, they barely gave us any food on our bowls. Extremely stingy with the rice, beans, chicken and avocado. My friend asked for extra avocado and they literally gave him a teaspoon extra and charged him $2+ for it. Second, the avocado was already turning brown when it was served to us. Third, we sat down and ate and as we we were eating I started to taste a bitter flavor on my food. We have tried this location as we are local to it over a dozen times now. Every time expect 1 has been absolutely awful. We love chipotle and go to many other locations. Do not go here. Everyone in our group who ate here last night and a time prior got sick. We wait in person 30-40 minutes past the time our order is supposed to be ready. This has happened over 6 times. One night it got so bad that they were handing out other peoples mobile orders and telling people to come back if it doesn't work for them. What?? Needless to say everyone came back unhappy so now they would stop preparing orders, process refunds, ratio the line and make their reorder. And the cycle starts over. We have gotten sick over 4 times now at this location and it's not clean inside. Please avoid this location at all costs until management cleans up their act, cleans up the store, and has more workers that are better prepared. It's awful being a customer here. Went and gave them another chance bc my kids like it, still just as bad. $24 for two burritos and they had many toppings missing, including pinto beans and cheese. When I finally got my order it was missing 2 things and they said they didn't see them on the receipt so they weren't able to help me. I pulled up my receipt to show them but no one cared. There should be an adult there to manage problems like this. I had to leave with out my whole order that I paid for. Then got home and the meat is one huge piece of fat.
