I've given this Chipotle multiple chances over the past couple of years, coming back every few months hoping things have improved. Unfortunately, it's the same disappointing experience every time. The chicken bowl portions are incredibly inconsistent--sometimes acceptable, other times surprisingly small. To make matters worse, the ice machine was broken... again. This isn't an isolated incident; it's something I've encountered on multiple visits. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a standard Chipotle. The dining area has the usual look and feel, but while some areas were clean, other parts of the restaurant were noticeably dirty and could have used more attention. After a previous review, Chipotle Corporate contacted me and I took the time to provide detailed feedback. I genuinely hoped that would lead to improvements, but nothing has changed. At this point, it feels like the problems are systemic and start with management rather than the employees working the line. There are simply too many great places to eat in Slidell to keep wasting time and money on a restaurant that consistently fails to deliver a reliable experience. Until there's a real commitment to fixing these ongoing issues, I can't recommend this location. Overall: 1/5 stars. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Chicken bowls - Mexican Near Me - Slidell, Louisiana

I ordered mobile for my meal that i have been craving and i have never been more disappointed in a chipotle than tonight. My pickup was to be finished at 6:10 didn't get my food until well after that maybe closer to 6:30 which things happen i get that but for the wait the quality should've been fresh. I chips were so stale i could bend them my bowl was barely a bowl and my quesadilla had wrapping paper in it. Tables were dirty and Fresca drinks were all empty. I'll go to a different chipotle further away just for better quality read more

They are so stingy with the portions. They always wanna charge you extra for the portion size they should've given you in the first place. And they overcook their meats. Every time I go is always a disappointment read more

This location has a serious management problem. Over and over this location can't accept cash or have to provide exact cash or take no change. There is no other excuse except poor management. I have to take the hit on cash overage on purchase for them not doing their job. This location always out of ingredients and short staffed with constant lines. Corporate should step in and shut this location down and do a reboot. This is a constant at this location. Poor poor poor representation of chipotle. read more

Worst chipotle ever, honestly I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down. The amount of chicken they give you is a joke. They want you to pay double just to get the normal amount. The manager makes it no better, he stands there arms folded rolling his eyes like a girl. Corporate should take over. I eat chipotle alot, this location is unacceptable. If i can leave 0 stars i would read more

***VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE*** Probably the worst experience of all the Chipotle restaurants I have visited. Food was subpar and cold. Bunch of small flies all around the tables aggressively trying to get into your food, which they eventually did. I had to ask for a refund since I wasn't even able to eat my bowl before all the flies went in there. One of the employees was clearly in a bad mood while serving food, I do my best to give grace to everyone in the fast food industry because I know how it feels dealing with rude and obnoxious customers, but this was not the case. I hope corporate, which I doubt, looks at this review and the many more to come from customers and make changes. At least for me, this was the last time I come to this location. read more

Food-wise, I love love love the Chipotle food. Brick-and-mortar-wise, every one I go to feels a bit grimy around the edges. Like they just had a rush of customers and they haven't had time to clean up before I walked in. I have never seen a clean bathroom at one. This location is a little nicer than most. Still not sparkly clean, but not dirty tables and trash on the floor. Acceptable. The service is good but it always feels like I am getting rushed through the line. Figure out what you want while you are waiting in line, know what you want, tell them clearly, and you'll be OK. If you stand there looking at the toppings trying to decide, they practically roll their eyes and tell you to hurry up. Granted, keeping the line moving is a good thing, but I hate to get hustled through the process. Be prepared and figure it out ahead of time is all I'm saying. And be prepared for a little griminess. read more

if i can give 0 stars i would workers were so rude, took forever, was out on everything but refilling the to go station with everything and when i asked if i can get a side of sour cream and guac the lady was super rude and saying "no you can't, ur total is.." i got the scraps of the guac in the main station like a tiny spoon of guac and got charged. genuinely terrible read more

I literally come here because I'm trying to eat something fresh and delicious and I literally got half a bowl of everything and I'll spend $16. The portions are too small for the price. I've been at other restaurants and this one is by far the worst when in comes to portion sizes. read more

Other people's reviews are valid for saying it's sometimes closed and not enough employees. But It can be so hard to keep a business efficiently running when you don't have the employees to back it up. The manager is there all the time to pick up people slack. He specifically is always making sure the food is fresh and everyone is satisfied. I have never been here when the food wasn't good. Yes, it can be frustrating when they don't have certain toppings are things made but they are one of a few 'fast food' places to do almost everything in house, and for that you have to give credit. read more

One of the doors to the establishment doesn't work. The portion sizing is terrible when you order online since employees are told to purposefully skimp on portion size when it's an online order, something my friends who used to work at Chipotle told me. The girl checking me out wouldn't let me redeem my birthday reward for free queso, nor my welcome chips and guacamole. I don't know why, she never gave me a reason even though I scanned them both and showed her both in my app. I don't know if I offended her somehow and that's why she didn't give me my birthday gift but that made me upset. So, my sides for my quesadilla were barely there and I got no rewards. Additionally, the vibe is terrible in there and the employees are not welcoming. None smile and they all look highly disgruntled. I hope they have a better day since it all looked like the worst days of their lives. read more

My friends and I stopped here for a quick dinner on our way to a Pelicans game. It's conveniently located right off the highway in a shopping plaza. There's plenty of parking and other eateries and stores. The restaurant was clean and we were kindly greeted by the staff. We ordered our food which was all fresh and delicious! The downside to this location is that there's only single occupant restrooms. Lucky for us, there weren't many patrons during our visit. However, I'm sure it can get hectic when it's busy or people are visiting with a large group. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Good ole bowl! It was loaded to the top but I already ate some - Mexican Near Me - Slidell, Louisiana

It truly is a roll of the dice depending on who you get serving you. Some days it's 18$ for the bowl, today it was 26$ for ONE bowl.. I wasn't even trying to ask for 'double' I just wanted a LITTLE more, which was always followed by 'I'm going to double charge you for it' so I just said sure. After that they started putting the least amount of the 'free' condiments on the bowl as well. It's like she put just enough to where it's like, really? Normally they throw a bit of cheese on it for you. Since I got 'extra' of stuff, that I DEFINITELY paid heavily for, they have an attitude & short you on what would normally be. If I worked somewhere getting minimum wage, this one bowl would have costed me 4+ hours or a HALF DAY of work, for one meal. The food is actually pretty dang good, which is what makes people end up paying the exorbitant amount. I know they told me prior that that it was 'double', however the person serving was giving as LITTLE as possible on EVERYTHING, I have anxiety & anyone who does, I wouldn't recommend going to Chipotle. They make you feel like you're asking for TOO much when in reality you're paying dearly for it & then they do as little as possible of the other stuff. Like I said I have anxiety & every-time she did her job half ass, it makes the CUSTOMER feel like an asshole. Literally ONLY two stars because the food is good. The service however is what's going to bury this company. I really enjoy the food but I don't want to go through the mental gymnastics with certain employees. As far as getting your moneys worth & not feeling like you're the problem but actually their to keep them in business. I work out at the gym that's in the same parking lot & I go there EVERY other DAY. I don't feel like my business is appreciated at ALL there, so I'm going to try the other Mexican restaurant in the parking lot next time! My brother was back in line & when he saw how I was treated, he said yea I think I'm going to Smoothie King instead, & he did. They shouldn't be surprised they're losing life long customers over a couple of cents. I was super polite & thanked her after everything she put in, yet it was still overall pretty embarrassing. I honestly wanted to just walk out & not even buy the food after that. I hate that they're losing two GREAT customers, however it's all self inflicted wounds. Truly I hope things get better for Chipotle because the service truly couldn't get worse than it already is. read more

WORST CHIPOLTE! Dont go! I'm from out of town and wanted something better than fast food! This was a bad decision. they first me the crunchy rice bits on the bottom of the bin then they gave me a quarter scoop of protein when I asked for the normal amount they added two more pieces of chicken. I've then decided to ask for double protein to get the normal used to and they gave me another quarter scoop. Or then proceeded down the line to tell the lady what I wanted, and she tried to serve me frozen mild. And when I asked to have the frozen chunks of tomatoes removed, she acted as if they weren't there. I had to pointed out to her three or four times and she's like oh you want these removed I was like yes ma'am I do not want to eat a frozen chunk of tomato. Dirtiest Chipotle's I've been to anywhere in the US. Can't believe they pass inspection. I won't be back.

The service was terrible. The restaurant was filthy. We received what was left at the bottom of the protein container and when the amount of steak was insufficient I asked for more. I got an eye roll, a huff, an angrily slid bowl to another employee and a shake of the head. From the employee who received the "slide" I received an apology. I was told it was an overly stimulating day and that they had worked hard. My son didn't get his kids meal at all and I told him we would go somewhere else. I tipped the saving grace of this experience and the girl working behind her. I received mediocre food and paid $39.21 for it. Two bowls and terrible queso and chips. I won't come back to this one. She needs a new job or an attitude adjustment. Maybe both. She was pissed of when we got here and it just went down hill from there. I tried hard and gave her "grace" which was NOT what I wanted to give her. But that's for another day! read more

Absolutely the worst chipotle I have been to. Understaffed and terrible attitude. She was even throwing cups into the bag in a pissed off manner. Burrito Bowls had crunchy rice which ruined the entire bowl, and not only made my wife's bowl and mine inedible but put us out of $50 and had no dinner. Oh and it seems they always close about an hour before they're supposed to. This is the absolute worst Chipotle I have ever been to. There is zero care about their service or quality if you're not physically there watching them make your food. read more

It is actually insane how stingy a billion dollar corporation is when it comes to the portion sizes. A customer shouldn't get charged extra just to have a reasonable amount of food especially when they increase prices regularly. Poor customer service combined with good portions that resemble rations explains why the place is emptier each time I come in. read more

This salad may look OK but it is far from it. First they forgot my guacamole and I use my points for it. Then as I continue to eat, I found a long string of black hair stuck to a piece of chicken that I was eating. It was beyond disgusting and annoying. Chipotle is my life! This is a great fast casual restaurant if you are in the mood for Mexican/American. It is more Americanized but very good. In my opinion. I try to fry it when I can. It is kinda far from me but if you are in the area; well worth it if you get it. They have many offers. Mainly known for their burritos. If want smaller, you can do tacos or the quesadilla. No carbs, you can do the lifestyle bowl or burrito bowl (no tortilla). It great, cause you can customize your bowl to your heart desires. Extra charge for double meat, toppings and guacamole. You may think it is spicy but it is not. Just let them know that you don't want it spicy and they will let you know what to get to avoid the spice. It's not spicy what they do give you. If you want move of a kick. They offer tobasaco sauce. They seating I noticed the seating is very limited if you want to dine in. Few tables for 4. If you have more, they community seating with back support. Not a place for large groups. If so, I recommend you take it to go. No drive-thru or delivery I can tell? Please let me know if I'm wrong. They off soda fountain, tea, and water. Bottle sodas (Mexican Coke and glass bottle sprite) and few beer selection (not sure on the brands tho?). No WiFi I noticed. We just stopped by for the large chips and guacamole to go. No mask required. read more
