Chicken bowl
Chelsea A.

Solid 4 stars. Came here since I was about to do a 4 hour road trip and knew it would be too late to make dinner by the time I got back home. Service was pretty quick. The servers were also generous with their scoops of meat. It was pretty clean based on the table I sat at. No complaints about the food or service or dining ambiance. My one star deduction comes from the bathroom smelling like a sewer...I didn't go and instead gave my business next door to use their restroom. Other than that, not a bad option to eat here (that is, if you're not looking to use the bathroom) Parking is plentiful but may be further out during peak hours at the plaza. You can park upon the traffic light that is right before the Starbucks or right by the Hartz building.

Just look at the burrito! I also got a bowl, with maybe a half a scoop of chicken in it. Thanks for nothing . I asked the lady for more chicken she literally gave me one more chunk of chicken and said she gets in trouble. Wtf chipotle? Not her fault but wow. The burrito is half the size it should be. I'm shocked. I'll never be back here. $30 and I'm mostly eating rice.

Quesadilla

Very easy automated ordering process. No problems with the order when we went to pick it up. But the food was awful. The quesadilla was made with a questionable tortilla and barely any cheese in it. The heat from the quesadilla melted the sour cream so it was watery. The the tomato salsa was anything but fresh. The salsa was on its last legs. The guacamole was good and the chips were unsalted and stale. I don't think I will order from them again. In the past I would order a burrito. Maybe that's a better option but I didn't have that this time.

I get the same thing when I go, A veggie burrito with guac and sd tortilla. This is the 3rd time, I haven't gotten my guac/tortilla. It's literally right on the ticket/label. I don't understand why I'm not getting what I paid/asked for. I understand that we are currently experiencing difficult times but to have it happen 3 times in a row is just frustrating and you are clearly doing it and don't care.

Burrito bowl with barbacoa and carnitas. Added guacamole.

Decent Chipotle, never order online for this location though. Online orders portions are significantly less than in person orders.

The guac was good but could use a bit more salt, i wish they had chiccarons as chips instead of tortillas but the chips were great so wasn't a big issue. overall though expensive for some pretty average guac in my opinion. the seabass crudo was great, i loved the sauce and the mango went great with it. Super fresh, super tasty. Unfortunately the tacos were a mess, when it arrived the tortillas were so soggy that they were just coming apart, the meat was also falling off and overall the presentation was horrendous. the tacos weren't balanced as well, there were some with too much meat and then some with basically only cheese. overall flavor was not birria im typically use to but it was solid. honestly these tacos are probably the worst tacos i've ever had, for $20 it's a travesty. overall for a place nearby i'd come to get some drinks and the crudo and esquite because those were fantastic. but i'll pass on their tacos hard.

We started with the Guacamole and chips and the vegetarian nachos. Both came out very quick and were excellent. We also ordered drinks and they also came out in a timely manner. I had a mojito, my stepmother had a margarita and my dad had the sangria. Drinks were pricey and a bit weak but overall good. We ordered our food and I had the Thursday lunch special Birria which was very nice and tender, my stepmother had the chicken burrito it was huge and very good and my dad had the shrimp and steak fajitas which he loved. We ended the meal with the outrageous churros piping hot and such a sweet surprise!! We talked with Yanci who is the owner's daughter and she was so nice and sweet. Best part about this place is the atmosphere everywhere you look it just gets better. The decor is awesome and everything just went perfect together. I read other reviews about how it probably is on a busy night and I'm happy we came when we did... that it wasn't hectic and loud. We would definitely come back again for lunch to enjoy a drink and share our food (because we all left with extra left overs) Overall definitely give it a try.

I think they are bogus. This restaurant has several locations around NJ. Parking is valet only. The ambiance and decor is pretty, fun and loud. Very loud. We were seated upstairs with a pretty good view of the restaurant. Where we were seated, the lights coming from the huge projector screen was annoying. They give you an iPad to look at the menu, which can be confusing if you are technically challenged. I am not. My husband is! There's a photographer going around asking if you want a picture. I agree with one of the reviews. It seems that they are only interested in upselling. I ordered the house margarita the regular size. It was OK, from a mix, but no tequila to be found at $13. My husband had a Pacifico beer which he ask twice for lime and a glass. They brought him a margarita glass and a few dry limes. At this point he gave up. I had the chicken fajitas. It came with Rice, black refried beans and some guacamole. The included three flour tortillas were terrible old and dry. The only thing good were the fajitas. We also ordered chicken chili rellenos. Came with the terrible rice and the refried beans. My husband said they were OK. Edible as he put it. The Mexican food here is not authentic. Now for the service. Our server, told us right off that her English was limited. We speak Spanish, so that was not a problem. The service is mediocre. We asked for water twice. Finally she brought it. But not the hot sauce my husband asked for twice. It's definitely a 3 star restaurant. Catering to people that want the fun but are OK with mediocre food.

Authentic Mexican food is more than tacos and salsa. The Garden State is hailed as one of the most diverse states when it comes to food, hosting some of the best Mexican restaurants on the East Coast. Whether one desires a quick taco or a full-course meal, my friends and I were craving rich and bold tastes from Mexico and decided on this family-owned establishment for an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. The reservation was easily made by calling Mariachi Grill, located on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Upon arrival at this popular spot to locals, with its cozy and casual interior decked out in traditional Mexican vibes, we were greeted by the staff and immediately got a table by the entrance, but they also have outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas. Some meals are accompanied with a small portion of rice and black beans. Complimentary house chips and salsa started our meal. As the restaurant is working on their liquor license, it's BYOB. One can bring your own tequila or wine, and the staff will mix it with their sangria or margarita mixes. We washed our meal down with a pitcher of sangria. The presentation was very good. The food was made incredibly fresh, well seasoned, deliciously tasty, and generous. The price was very reasonable for the area.
