I ordered with the chipotle app from this chipotle for delivery twice now. Both times, I got a bowl. The first time with steak and second time with equal portions chicken and steak. Both times, the bowls have had very little meat and little brown rice. The amount of meat (even the double portion with chicken and beef) is abysmal. It's quite disappointing Bc I've gotten way more before from other stores when order from the store. It's also disappointing because I paid extra money for the steak and did not get a decent amount of meat. I also did not get utensils (fork, napkins). This will probably be my last time ordering chipotle from this store because they have given me a very little amount of meat. It seems this is a common complaint for this store from other reviewers. The food looks better than the food tastes, too. The soft carnitas tacos I ordered were kind of bland (they should be anything but), with only far away hints of cilantro, pepper and green onion. And, they were kind of watery. Anyway, the prices aren't exorbitant. Three tacos were $6.50, only a little over $2/taco. So often you end up having a lunch like this when you're at work -- one that ends up being mere fuel, rather than good tasting food experience. Hate it when that happens. We walked in to grab order and the three folks were chatting amongst themselves and it took them a little while to even realize I was at counter. Finally the girl that was giving the others her random personal anecdotes turns to me and asks if she can help me. I asked for another salad dressing and they told me they didn't have any dressing at all. I asked "even with the salad I got, there is no dressing?" She said, no sorry. I never bothered to look in the bag. I them asked for lemon she said They didn't have that either. I asked to use the bathroom she said she couldn't let me. The bathroom is open and available at both Chipotles by me. Our way home we opened the bag & there were two salads, when we ordered one salad and one burrito. If that wasnt bad enough both of them had the wrong ingredients. It's like they just throw in whatever they wanted. My salad was missing black beans corn and onions and peppers and had white rice not brown. The other also had wrong beans and wrong rice. There was also one salad dressing in the bag so they clearly had some but the attitude of the girl was absolutely like she could not be bothered. I Get that it's the end of the night but do your job. The decor actually makes you want to sit down and finish your meal unlike other fast food. The food is great and so is the pricing. My only one word of caution is not to get the tacos. But the real issues arise when you order delivery. I've never ordered from a restaurant that literally forget items every single time. Maybe I'm the dummy for continuing to order, but it's just the location closest that delivers. Every time it's a mistake. Today they forgot both the guacamole and salsa on my order. In the past they've forgotten the meat, or even the chips on the side. It's insane that literally going down an assembly line holding a receipt with the exact order is such a difficult task. As a happy regular at the Edgewater location, I experienced a rude awakening by the staff at the Harmon Meadow Secaucus location tonight. The flow in general was slow to the point that at 8pm, there was a good line of at least 6+ people forming behind me and my partner, and the staff seem to have no intention of either speeding up the flow or working together to be more efficient in moving the line along. To be more specific in how the staff disappointed me, there was a girl in brown twists that stood out the most. She was especially dismissive and rude, for example, when I was trying to sign up for rewards on the Chipotle app, I forgot that I left my bowl at the sauce and topping station, I saw her make a face to her coworkers mocking my mistake. Also, as she was mocking me she made a attitude-enriched hand gesture signaling why I had moved from the station. My partner and I work in the food industry, so we are usually understanding to mistakes or the slow flow, but to be made fun of and quite honestly disrespected like that, we just had to say something. On the other hand, the girl at the register with the tattoos was a different story as she was extra accommodating to our needs and was attentive throughout our customer journey through chipotle. I give her props for staying professional and keeping high energy in that low energy, slacking environment. After contemplation, we decided to not come back to this location again and to warn other customers of what to expect at this location. Also, not to come off rude, I advice the Harmon Meadow Secaucus team to learn a couple lessons in hostility and customer service training from the Edgewater team. read more
