I am a frequent customer of this chipotle solely due to the fact that I work across the street. The amount of meat that goes into a standard bowl here is a complete embarrassment to the chipotle franchise. Many of my colleagues and I have noticed that new hires on the line have been quite skimpy with proportion size compared to what we were used to in the past. There are no standards serving sizes here so you never know what you are going to get. I went here for lunch today and can say with 100% certainty that i get absolutely fucked this time. I finished my bowl within 2 minutes, and i guarantee could eat another with relative ease. TLDR - The amount of meat you get here is pathetic. read more

I ordered with the chipotle app from this chipotle for delivery twice now. Both times, I got a bowl. The first time with steak and second time with equal portions chicken and steak. Both times, the bowls have had very little meat and little brown rice. The amount of meat (even the double portion with chicken and beef) is abysmal. It's quite disappointing Bc I've gotten way more before from other stores when order from the store. It's also disappointing because I paid extra money for the steak and did not get a decent amount of meat. I also did not get utensils (fork, napkins). This will probably be my last time ordering chipotle from this store because they have given me a very little amount of meat. It seems this is a common complaint for this store from other reviewers. Corporate tacos. Chipotle is a place where the restaurant (the decor, the menu, the signage) LOOKS better than the food TASTES. No no no!! Those are the wrong priorities! The food looks better than the food tastes, too. The soft carnitas tacos I ordered were kind of bland (they should be anything but), with only far away hints of cilantro, pepper and green onion. And, they were kind of watery. Anyway, the prices aren't exorbitant. Three tacos were $6.50, only a little over $2/taco. So often you end up having a lunch like this when you're at work -- one that ends up being mere fuel, rather than good tasting food experience. Hate it when that happens. If you're not paying much attention to what you're eating, then I guess this kind of thing works OK...but you SHOULD be paying attention to what you're eating, and be rewarded by how GOOD it tastes. I have been a big fan of chipotle coz the food tastes awesome but today was the worst experience ever. The staff was very confused while taking orders. First of all, they were giving priority to web orders and instead of finishing that first, the guy started taking our order and the confusion started and it was a huge mess. Chipotle is definitely a set up from Taco Bell but still doesn't beat authentic Mexican cuisine. The decor and staff are great. The decor actually makes you want to sit down and finish your meal unlike other fast food. The food is great and so is the pricing. My only one word of caution is not to get the tacos. Chipotle is definitely a burrito place. The choices of meats vary somewhat with the more unique choices being more spicy. I went home and they had included none of the salsa. I called them up and they offered to rectify it. I let it go. The next time I went there I was paying attention to hat they were packing.. I ordered 2 bowls to go and asked for the salsa on the side. They did so for none. On goading the woman making my food.. she packed the salsas for one bowl. This is easily the worst chipotle I've been to. The service in person tends to be mediocre with employees moving slowly, and tending to give small portions. But the real issues arise when you order delivery. I've never ordered from a restaurant that literally forget items every single time. Maybe I'm the dummy for continuing to order, but it's just the location closest that delivers. Every time it's a mistake. Today they forgot both the guacamole and salsa on my order. In the past they've forgotten the meat, or even the chips on the side. It's insane that literally going down an assembly line holding a receipt with the exact order is such a difficult task. As a happy regular at the Edgewater location, I experienced a rude awakening by the staff at the Harmon Meadow Secaucus location tonight. The flow in general was slow to the point that at 8pm, there was a good line of at least 6+ people forming behind me and my partner, and the staff seem to have no intention of either speeding up the flow or working together to be more efficient in moving the line along. To be more specific in how the staff disappointed me, there was a girl in brown twists that stood out the most. She was especially dismissive and rude, for example, when I was trying to sign up for rewards on the Chipotle app, I forgot that I left my bowl at the sauce and topping station, I saw her make a face to her coworkers mocking my mistake. Also, as she was mocking me she made a attitude-enriched hand gesture signaling why I had moved from the station. My partner and I work in the food industry, so we are usually understanding to mistakes or the slow flow, but to be made fun of and quite honestly disrespected like that, we just had to say something. On the other hand, the girl at the register with the tattoos was a different story as she was extra accommodating to our needs and was attentive throughout our customer journey through chipotle. I give her props for staying professional and keeping high energy in that low energy, slacking environment. After contemplation, we decided to not come back to this location again and to warn other customers of what to expect at this location. Also, not to come off rude, I advice the Harmon Meadow Secaucus team to learn a couple lessons in hostility and customer service training from the Edgewater team. read more
