Great location, great food and even more, they have woooooonderfuul service! I have come in here in several times of the day, and I never had a bad experience. The people behind the counters always had a smile and I always felt welcome. When I ask them for extra, they have no problem. They give generous portions compared to other locations. They wrap their burritos well, no spills or it doesn't open. Never sloppy. I just love the atmosphere of this place. I always go here at least once a week. I gotta have my weekly Chipotle fix. And even though I have to drive a little, I always alwaaays enjoy my meal. I always find an excuse to go to Secaucus and "pass by Chipotle." I looove this place!!!! read more

I have been eating there for quite some time now. They used to be very good. But now they just getting simply sloppy small portions quick rush you out the door service. Don't know if corporate has them rushing you out. Or whether they just don't care anymore. They do get a lot of lunch crowd and kids just hanging out. Parking is always a problem and take out is a surprise every time. You never know if they giving you what you asked for even though you can see them making your food. There always in such a rush even if no one's in the place. And when no one is there the food is usually somewhat warm not hot. I go to route 17 now. read more

Chipotle is everything. Pros: fresh ingredients (rice, meat/chicken/tofu, beans, salsa, corn, sour cream, cheese, guac, lettuce, onion and peppers), great for vegetarians, great for carnivores, great for everyone, clean place including bathrooms, fast and nice employees, free tortilla with your bowl, free water cup, spacious seating area, and of course the amazing tabasco sauce overdose. Cons: pay extra to add guac I can go here everyday and never leave hungry. Love their soft/hard tacos, bowls, and burrito .. which is there whole menu, so I basically love everything. Yes it's a limited menu, but you won't ask for more. read more

So I am a usual customer at my local Chipotle, I get my usual burrito you know white, pinto, extra chicken.. i love the food, the portions are great compared to other Chiptole's I've been to. I've never had a negative encounter with anyone on the line, but a few days back when I went in to start my usual order It was really hard to hear the employee in front of me due to the fact that the mangers were having a loud heated argument in the grill area. while paying for my food at the register i made a comment and asked if it was always like this referring to the mangers arguing and it seems to me like its not the first time. That look is very unprofessional!! Why were they having a disagreement? I can't really say but in no way should she have been speaking to the manger in that tone. The girl with the long maybe braided hair, wavy weave hairstyle. You'd expect that kind of behavior from the younger staff members. Overall, my order was well taken care of. Food filled me up as usual. Will be back, hopefully you guys are having a better day next time. read more

I've always enjoyed chipotle and I still do. Secaucus chipotle has been lacking lately. The quality of the food has not been what it should be. I'd also appreciate if they could hire employees that could properly wrap a burrito. My last burrito could have been wrapped better by a quadruple amputee. That shit straight up fell apart after 3 bites. I was left no choice but to jettison my burrito from my vehicle. Looks like Moe's and Qdoba might be the move from now on. read more

The food is really good. I always order the barbacoa burrito. Depending on who is helping you, you might end up with lots if meat, and some times with very little. Don't be afraid to ask them to out more meat if you see they are not putting enough :) read more

I love Chipotle anywhere but here. Service is slow and employees coudn't care less about customer service. They also charge extra for guacamole in your burrito or bowl. The prices are the same as Manhattan unless you want guacamole in your order and the burrito bowl will cost you $11, pretty ridiculous. read more

This review is not against chipotle but more so for this franchise and some of the employees who work here. I work in the area and usually get my lunch to go from here so it's safe to say I am a repeat customer. I am usually disappointed with the service during the lunch rush. And now I happen to know some of the employees and the days when they are working I would plain avoid going there cause I will get shitty service and small portions. I have noticed this at another chipotle at the route 3 location which makes me wonder if it's just the employees or there's a change in the management which is causing this. However I am still going to give them a second chance just for the fact that I love chipotle and I might not have much of a choice. read more

This chipotle is mediocre . I've been coming to this chipotle for some time and I noticed their service worsened. The thing that worsened is the quality of their food. Their food used to be fresh but I have had many times where I got hard rice, old guacamole, and small portions. Everything you want in a Chipotle. Spicy Mexican food. The only downside to this Chipotle is that its so good its always busy. You need to attack this place at off hours in order to avoid the line which is out the door on the weekends. Aside from that this Chipotle is like any other Chipotle: great! A pretty standard Chipotle, all of the food appear the same as the other 5-10 I have been to around the U.S. Sadly they were a bit stingier than most Chipotles so the burritos were a bit smaller. Food seems a bit more salty than other Chipotle franchises and I would prefer a lower sodium experience. This would get more stars if food was less salty. Parking garage next to the restaurant is a bit tiny and award to maneuver, but I've always been able to spend a spot. I've never had to wait a long time past 7 pm. The checkout process is very efficient and the assembly line process just keeps things moving along. Staff seems nice and they do try to do a decent job. Sometimes seating can be a bit tight, but usually there is ample space at night. read more

This is my favorite fast food restaurant. I eat here or get food to go on a regular basis. The food is delicious and healthier than other fast food alternatives. I usually get the burrito bowl with white rice, black beans, green tomotillo sauce and iceberg lettuce. There are other things I could heap on the bowl like cheese and guacamole but I want to be careful about the calories. The only I problem I have is that the sodium content is rather high. Salt seems to be added to every ingredient. You can verify this by checking the nutritional information on the Chipotle website. If they could get the sodium content down I would give it 5 stars. This location does a good business so the turnover of food is high and you can count on getting a fresh meal. The restaurant is also very clean which is important to me. I will not eat at a dirty restaurant and the food preparers wear gloves and change them often. Parking is also very convenient in a garage right next door. read more

Where do I even begin. Save yourself the aggravation, stress, hunger, and time and go to a different location. My boyfriend and I order online every couple weeks thinking things will be different but they are not. This staff is incapable of customer service or any service at that matter. This place is always packed so I always order ahead. Tonight my boyfriend and I (after agreeing we would seek out a different location in hopes to have better service) got a late start to dinner and decided that 9 pm was a reasonable time to order and it not be chaotic. The restaurant was almost empty with maybe 2 people on line but a lot waiting for online orders. We were "promised" a 9 pm pick up time for our food. We waited over 30 minutes after our promised pickup time for our PRE-PLACED online order. My boyfriend had a coupon for free chips and guac which they gave us a hard time about using, but confusing explanations as to why it couldn't be used etc. The manager was using the register, touching my phone, and also handling food without changing gloves. They ran out of lettuce (which they consistently run out of as well as other ingredients). For something that is supposed to be a fast, easy meal, winds up being a stressful, time consuming task. I Would rather add the extra 30 minutes in driving to another location than deal with the staff at this one. read more

I come to this chipotle all the time I have to say I'm beyond disgusted they are utterly lazy here for no reason never had a problem before today I don't eat the gross meat I only eat veggies I asked for them and the guy rushed me and only gave me 5 veggies and I was pissed because I'm paying full price for less food I also asked for a tortilla to go and he ignored me and didn't give to me I told the girl who does the sauce I wanted more veggies her answer was I'll put them on the side when there done I said no I want it in my bowl and she took the bottom of the veggie container scrapped out the last cold bits that had Been sitting out and that's what she gave me she obviously knew I was mad because I made a disgusted face and gave her an attitude after that and couldn't stand to look her in the face and she didn't care I tried to talk to the manager and get her attention and she ignored me as well I had to walk out of the place after all of this because I was about to cause a huge scene I'm so beyond pissed I paid full price for a bottom shelf skimpy bowl this is ridiculous they need to fire the new people they hired read more

The absolute worst Chipotle i have been to. Absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered at a Chipotle Mexican Grill EVER!!!! The Chipotle on route 17 in East Rutherford is far superior. East Rutherford is five stars. This horrible location is one! East Rutherford understand A fast casual restaurant is supposed to be fast. I guess they didn't get the memo at the Secaucus location. It wasn't even busy. I dread to ever go here when it's busy. The service would've been worse. There were three or four people behind the counter. The first person behind the counter takes my bowl order. Then passes it to the protein person. Then the person in the next section leaves. Now four orders back up. Because the person leaves the line. Now I'm waiting for five minutes to get salsa on my bowl. You would think somebody would have jumped in. NOPE! Then just to add insult to the horrible service. The person at the register walks away. love it. very clean place and the staff is very nice. the food was very good.. it is similar to a qdoba, but the qdoba has that spicy queso sauce which chipotle doesnt have..but not to worry.. i still love the food. the steak burrito was very good an the lime chips were yummy as well. they were running a promotion so my whole order was free. i guess it was like every 20th customer type of deal.. not sure. thanks for that ... lol i like the prices too. very inexpensive. the whole 1.95 to add guacamaole is a little much i think though. all in all i would go again! read more

I work nearby & Last night I sent over a co worker to order me a Carnitas Bowl with a NOTE. clearly stating everything i wanted in that specific bowl. on the very top of the note it said CARNITAS BOWL. (Even boxed it for crying out loud) My co worker comes back with the bowl & I open it and check the receipt - they gave me a VEGGIE bowl with no meat. So i send it back because i wanted a fresh new bowl because clearly the employees there can NOT read... They refused to give me a fresh new bowl & sent back a cup full of carnitas because they were too lazy to make a new one. I am appalled! So what is this now " Build-A-Bowl " ?! IT DOES NOT TASTE THE SAME AFTER THAT. THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT!! If he clearly came back within a 5 minute time span with a RECEIPT and everything, i don't understand what was the issue? You can't even blame my co worker neither because if he clearly gave the people on the line the note with EVERYTHING IN DETAIL ..... It's their FUCK UP!!! I wish i knew the number to corporate.. As close to "fast food" as I get and it's good. Fresh ingredients, healthy options, quick service and a nice size location. Really like the burrito bowls. As a vegetarian I'm a fan of the "build your own" aspect. Really good chips. Drinks are a little high priced. All in all a good, filling, quick meal. read more
