We've had this place a fair amount of time through the years and this time we got three protein bowls. The food always leaves us satisfied with flavor and health. Thankfully we ordered on the app to go as the line was substantial and long. Not surprised at the low rating for this location. I eat at Chipotle frequently. I must say the Chipotles staff in SoCal are much better trained. The server had today must've had a bad day because she had a scowl on her face and never smiled. I ordered a bowl and got 1 scoop of rice, 1 scoop of protein and a scoop of beans. The Asian lady at the next station was a bit better with the salsa, cheese and sour cream. I won't be coming back to this location again. read more

There's a reason this specific Chipotle location has 2 stars. It's because there are at least 2 people here who haven't evolved past the prehistoric creatures that crawled out of the ocean. Both of them need common sense schooling. This is how it usually works - customer orders food, customer pays for food, you give customer food, byebye. However, when the cashier physically holds you back from getting your food which you paid for, and then stares into the distance until eventually the manager remembers there are actual customers waiting - there is something grossly incompetent and moronic about this place. Both these people need to be retrained or find jobs in situations that don't require interacting with humans with basic courtesy. Meanwhile, Chipotle's ads will be better than the actual food or service - which is pathetic on a national level. Maybe try adding some basic spices and zest to your customer service; there are plenty of taquerias around that will gladly take business from your chain. read more

Greetings to all, this was my only second time to this location and it was an ok experience. Parking is shared with the other surrounding businesses in the area which is not too bad. A ( B) for me. Inside the restaurant itself was a small amount of seating for a mini lunch crowd, accompanied by marginal lighting. A (B) for me. The service, everyone loaded into 1 line by the wall to place their orders, not bad. A (B) for me. The food was prepared right in front of you watching every move of the person making your meal items. I got the food home and I was completely satisfied. A ( B) for me My overall feeling for this location is a solid 3stars , and they will get better in time as they more Quality crew members that work well with each other. read more

I'm convinced this location doesn't ever have salad dressing or the manager is just incompetent and never understands that if you run out that often, you should probably make more. Against better judgment, my husband got me a salad for lunch from this location today and surprise, surprise, they told me they don't have salad dressing. read more

I love chipotle. I feel like it's a place you can go to and eat healthy if you try. That being said, I wasn't completely pleased with my experience at chipotle. I ordered the salad. The gal who worked the register was super nice. When I got home, I was disappointed that in my salad instead of guacamole I had half an avocado and it was hard. I took a picture of it. Also in their lettuce I had the bottom of Romaine the part you wouldn't eat unless you want to break a tooth. The taste was good, but that just disappointed me. Also when I was ordering the salad I kept saying more lettuce more lettuce, more lettuce. I just think if you get a salad, it shouldn't just be one handful of lettuce. I can't speak to the ambience because I didn't eat there, but I'm sure it's fine. I think for the price of almost $20 it should be a lot better. read more

I absolutely love this chipotle and my husband picked me up a burrito bowl and it was made phenomenal phenomenally. The Latin kid server that was working at 10:30 was awesome. I would like to give him a great big compliment because that was the best burrito bowl I've ever gotten at chipotle. We'll definitely be coming back to this one instead of Colma or San Bruno.!!!! Another Chipotle location and another subpar location. I went in and ordered a sofritas burrito and going down the line I had to repeat the items to staff multiple times. Then at the cashier, he rang up the burrito for 1 but I was gettting 2even the lady who probably was the supervisor kept telling him 2. When I unwrap the burrito, one side was wet and made one side soggy. Definitely did not want to eat there seeing alll the reviews of the dining area. read more

***Customer service sucks also the restaurant is FILTHY*** I did a mobile order to pickup and of course my order was wrong. Their app sucks and you can't speak with a live person. I ordered a steak bowl and got a veggie bowl instead? The restaurant was busy but I could clearly see people in the back hanging out. I made eye contact with the person behind the kitchen while trying to pick up my order. They didn't even bother to see if I need assistance just turned right around. They need to train their staff better to be a little bit more attentive and learn how to multitask. read more

No idea if the people that work here were born yesterday but the customer service was absolutely disgusting. Chose this location despite the reviews after a long flight landing at SFO, and wish i hadn't. The girl making my tacos was throwing the tortillas like they were frisbees, the girl pouring the ingredients kept dropping them on the table then proceeded to pick it up and added back in, wouldn't completely mind that but the place was already filthy in itself. And when I spoke up the attitude on the girl with the piercing was crazy and she gave me "killer eyes." Do not recommend. read more

I went to the new Chipotle in SSF (below the new Safeway market). Thought it would be a better since it is newly opened....wrong! Ordered a bowl, hardly any chicken pieces...ordered the chips and guac...the bags with the chips say "made fresh daily". I picked up my order at 11:30am and 80% if the chips were stale. How can they charge $5.25 for a small cup of guac and a bag full of stale chips! Probably would not go back. read more

Poor customer service. Did not open on time. There was no sense of urgency by the staff. One worker even proceeded to make his own burrito and sit down at a table where everyone waiting (about 20 people) could see him eating. Not sure how it could have been a break when restaurant was supposed to open at 10:45 am and didn't open until 11 am. And he was eating at 11:17 am. I placed a mobile order for 11 am and did not Walk out until 11:20 am. There was no one else in line and instead of the front staff helping fill mobile orders and get Caught up, they just stood around. Never going to this chipotle again. read more

I've never had a good experience at this Chipotle. I have never made a review in my life but this restaurant definitely deserves one. For one, the staff is pretty rude, and always seems miserable. Don't get me wrong they have some nice staff, however most of the time it's always these Gen Z kids working that have no customer service skills. Also, they always seem to be out of something, whether it be guac or steak or sour cream or rice. Like how are you a chipotle and out of steak. I've also found so many non edible items in my food, whether it be little stickers or hairs. The restaurant is never clean. I recognize that working in fast food can be demanding. However, the ongoing pattern of issues at this Chipotle has led me to leave a well deserved 1 star review. read more

I am BEYOND disappointed with my service at Chiptole today. Let me just start off by saying that It was JUST awful. I ordered ahead on the app per my son's birthday dinner request. I mean it was bonkers the workers acted like the ingredients were coming out of their own paycheck! If I wanted to leave an establishment hungry, I would have stayed home and kept my $16. If I am paying premium prices I would like to have my bowl be FULL. I watched my son's face drop when he saw his bowl. He literally asked me, "Is that it?" Imagine a CHILD on his birthday feeling disappointed and embarrassed because the bowl was practically empty. Overall I do NOT recommend this location. We are heartbroken. read more

Been coming here for many years, having grown up on the Burlingame/Millbrae border and living here as an adult for a decade. Ordered pickup via the app on a Saturday, arrived with just a few people in line ordering in person. They had 3 workers in front and a few in back. I walked up to the employee at the register and gave my name as I could see my order behind the register (it was the only order in the pick up shelf) The employee at the register looks back at it and says "yeah hold on" then waits about 15 seconds for the next person ordering in line to get to him. He proceeds to ring this person up, an older gentleman who clearly was having trouble figuring out where to tap his credit card to pay. The cashier was pretty rude and condescending to the him and looked annoyed he didn't tap his card in the right spot. Once that was all done, he reaches back, hands me my order without looking at me or even saying a word. I rarely give one star reviews, and I know it's Chipotle, but I've come here enough over the years to say the service has gradually gotten worse with time. And if you have someone coming in that's ordered via the app and the order is all bagged up and ready, why ask me to wait so you can then wait for the next customer to get to the register and ring them up and leave me waiting when you can just grab the bag behind you and hand it to me. You already turned and looked at it for crying out loud. It's just a lack of logic and/or common sense, or perhaps just an unhappy employee. Imo, the guy looked pretty unhappy and given his interaction with me and the other customer he was rude to, management might need to take a closer look at things as the ratings for this location are pretty low and it's not difficult to see why. read more

A Chipotle review because why not? Most people are inclined to write about their negative experiences rather than positive experiences at a fast food place, but honestly the past year this Chipotle in Millbrae/Burlingame has been pretty solid. The service from everyone there is pretty friendly and patient. Of course there is often turnover with staff so this might not apply years later, but I never had any issue with the quality of the food or the customer service at this location. I can tell they have gotten good training at least. They're very efficient and don't skimp out on the portions in my experiences. The barbacoa is also so good. Parking is also super easy with there being tons of lots located nearby. The inside of the store is comfortable too only downside is that sometimes the lobby gets left unkept for too long after some customers leave a mess all over the tables or floors. Honestly this is probably my go-to location for Chipotle. read more

Today, I was fairly disappointed in Chipotle. I ordered two burrito bowls over the app and when I got home. I opened one of the bowls and barely had anything in it, more lettuce and salsa vs protein. I mean, orders should be consistent. In my other order bowl everything was good. so I'm not sure if there were two people doing my orders or one just didn't care for it and just slap whatever on and pack it up and that was it. Probably, I'll do more in store order now vs online orders If this is what I get. I hope this is only a one time thing, but seriously not acceptable. read more

First time at this location and the service was exceptional! The two women who served me today 6/24/24 at around 1:40pm were so nice and attentive. I can never finish a bowl so I always get a kids meal and it's the perfect portion! Plus it comes with a drink and small chips. For the Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants I have patronized, the food is always fresh and delicious. The burritos, burrito bowls, and tacos are so good. I just like how their meats are prepared with very little grease. This is well worth the praise! Service? Every Chipotle Mexican Grill I patronized before, service is always very good. Friendly team members as well. Dining setting - indoor and outdoor dining available. Ordering food even from this Chipotle? - Order in the restaurant - Via the Chipotle Mexican Grill app - Or via sources like DoorDash Today, I ordered three tacos. It's chicken tacos on soft flour tortillas with white rice, chicken, and cheese. Included in this meal is a medium fountain drink. These tacos are quick eats, delicious and satisfying. This was by far the most shocking and humiliating customer service experience I've ever had--and it happened at a Chipotle I've visited and supported many times before. I placed a mobile order, and the app notified me it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, I quietly approached the pickup area to check if my food was there. Before I could say *one word*, a staff member came out from the back, looked directly at me, and **screamed at me to "get out"** in front of the entire restaurant. I was stunned, embarrassed, and completely caught off guard. I hadn't even had the chance to speak. She was clearly handling completed orders and slowly applying stickers, so I simply wanted to ask if mine was among them. Instead of providing basic customer service, she yelled and then walked away. I asked for a manager, hoping he would de-escalate the situation or at least acknowledge what happened. Instead, he dismissed me entirely--no apology, no explanation, no help, and no refund. He refused to address anything and made me feel like I didn't matter. I left feeling disrespected, degraded, and honestly traumatized. I've never felt so mistreated in a restaurant, especially as a paying customer. This wasn't just poor service--it was hostile and dehumanizing. Corporate needs to know this is happening. If this is how Chipotle trains--or tolerates--its employees treating customers, that's a serious problem. No one deserves to be yelled at, ignored, and publicly embarrassed while simply trying to pick up food they paid for. I won't be returning to this location, and I genuinely don't know if I can trust Chipotle again after this. read more

Are they really open until 11pm?? Food is pretty standard for most Chipotle, with the caveat that their chicken isn't completely overcooked. I've been to a bunch of Chipotles and I'm not too crazy about the way, I feel about this one. The food is kind of there, but didn't look or feel fresh. The service is OK, but you can tell they just don't care. The place itself isn't really clean to be honest. There was stuff on the floor, the tables were dirty and the garbage cans were full. The garbage cans were so full, that you could not separate the trash. I basically had a dump everything, in the can that had room. There was a girl walking around and picking up after customers, but you can tell she was poorly trained. Yes, she did pick up the trays and cups that were left behind, but if there were any spills or food on the table, it was left behind. I absolutely don't blame her, because her manager was looking right at her. This place is poorly run and I do not blame the employees. I also don't care to hear, it's hard to get good help. When help comes in, as a manager, you train them to your level of expectations, no less. I'm probably never gonna come back to this one. It's been four years since my last review, and here I am-- reading it, and it's the same exact experience lol. I didn't take my own advice--- it's hard to check on a mobile ordered burrito. But once again, they left out guac, sour cream, cheese-- I bit into my burrito and it was dryAF. Opened it, and of course it's dry-- they left everything out. Had to drive all the way back to the store and show them how poorly my burrito was made. They couldn't give me a refund but made it correctly and "threw in some chips and guac."
