To even better the deal, Chipotle Mexican Grill offers a good tasting meal that is relatively healthy (especially when you compare Chipotle Mexican Grill to the fast food national burger chains). While Chipotle Mexican Grill is certainly nothing even remotely close to authentic Mexican food (probably the most Mexican thing about this restaurant chain is the word "Mexican" in the business name), Chipotle Mexican Grill still offers a great tasting (though admittedly Americanized) meal. My go-to item is usually their burrito bowl and while I change up my protein options, I usually go with either their steak or their chicken (though sometimes I combine the two of them). Today, my husband and I drove 16 miles from The Villages to Chipotle in Leesburg, hoping for a decent meal. I've been there before and thought the food was okay, but today's experience was so disappointing that I'll never return. First of all, the restaurant was disgusting. Food was scattered all over the floor, especially around the fountain drink area, and there was trash everywhere--both on the floor and where you dispose of containers. It was so bad that after I ordered, my husband refused to eat there once he saw how filthy it was. The tables hadn't been cleaned for new customers, and the windows were streaked with dirt and stains. The entire place felt like it had been completely ignored. If they couldn't be bothered to maintain the dining area, I shudder to think how poorly the kitchen was being kept. I took a few bites of my meal, which cost me $21.25, but it didn't even taste like the usual food I get from Chipotle. It was inedible, so I ended up throwing it away. The entire staff, especially the manager, should be fired. I'm planning to contact the Health Department to report what I witnessed--it was absolutely appalling. Food isn't cheap, and it's insulting to pay that much for a meal that's both poorly prepared and served in such a filthy environment. I will never set foot in any Chipotle again. The food is bad, the service is worse, and the lack of cleanliness should be a serious concern for the health department. Save yourself the trouble--make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at home. This is the worst Chipotle ever. Charged me $17 for a chicken bowl and side of guac. They were out of brown rice, out of lettuce, most things looked bottom of bin and nasty. I've waited before I reviewed this brand new Chipotle until I've ordered several times. I really really wanted to love it. I have been anxiously waiting for this location to open. It's now been my fifth order and it hasn't gotten any better. The meat portions are minuscule. The food is always cold even when I've ordered right from the counter. The white rice is undercooked. Guac portion serving is ridiculously tiny. It's just not up to standards. Please Leesburg location, get it together. I need you to succeed. I love Chipotle. I'll wait a few months and try again, but after today I'm totally turned off by Chipotle food. It was awful. read more

I visited this place recently with high expectations because my hometown (Clermont) chipotle is amazing. When I first arrived the meat looked dried out and old. I went ahead and ordered anyways because we were so hungry. The rest of the food was good and seemed fresh, just dissatisfied with the meat. I've never had an issue with chipotle portions until today. They didn't give me a full scoop on anything and didn't even fill the bottom of the bowl. Haven't been to chipotle in a while and was disappointed. Another person in my party did not receive beans. They don't wear name tags but it was the same gentlemen that incorrectly made all the orders even when notified of the mistake, he did not fix them. read more
