The sauce bar was dirty and many choices empty. The blackened chicken tasted like old rubber and grisly. The Chimichanga tortilla didn't seemed fried, it was cold and soft not flaky. The side of queso was brown and the consistency of paste. read more

Tijuana Flats is always awesome. Great Queso, tacos on Tuesday and burritos on Thursday specials. This location was a little darker than normal and the chairs and table were sticky. Otherwise food was great. read more

This is across the street from the mall. Order at the counter snd then they bring your meal when it's ready. They have Coke Zero (hence the fifth star) but I got a margarita, which was good! They have a salsa bar with smiley faces to indicate spiciness and have comical names to go along with the face. I had the chicken taco salad which was good. They give you chips with your order and have outdoor tables. They play good music and it's a unique decor. I've been here several times and haven't been disappointed. Try it when you want more than fast food (Chipotle) but not a full table service Mexican restaurant. read more

Can't go wrong with this location for consistent, middle of the road mexican. This store always has their act together; properly staffed and all food hot and right. Dining room is clean. Nothing bad to say. read more

First time going and I really enjoyed my burrito. I wish I had asked what the topping were inside because there were jalapeños and I was asked if I wanted everything inside. It was spicy but I took them out and it was delicious. There are a bunch of sauce choices for your meal. Overall everything was really good and I would like to trying something else. read more

OMG!!! I am so elated that we found this Tijuana Flats across the street from the mall! The food was outstanding; just absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised because I've been to others and I wasn't impressed. The ambience friendliness attitude and helpfulness made our evening perfect the food portions for the money excellent taste and did provide us a quick meal so we can go further in our day. There was a young lady by the name of London who was so exceptionally helpful & understanding when I was having difficulty getting my order in through my phone. She had such patience and understanding it just totally blew me away. I wish all Tijuana Flats could be modeled after this store. I am just singing her praises! Management, please give her a raise as she's deserving of & so much more. Thank you for such an overall great experience. Plus, the food orders came out fast, hot & delicious! read more

Tijuana Flats is a favorite lunch spot for me. Love the hot sauce collection and the food is always fresh. Today I had the carnitas bowl and it might just be my new favorite. The pork was plentiful, juicy, and flavorful. I usually go for the blackened chicken or steak, but if you like pork definitely try the carnitas! read more

Typical Tijuana Flats location with friendly service. They have about 10 different items which you can customize with a protein or other accompaniments. The food is made fresh for you as you order. On my most recent visit I ordered the black bean flautas with no cheese or sour cream- delicious! We also ordered a side of chips, but they were extremely overly salted which was a bummer. The hot sauces are amazing! Make sure to try a bunch! read more

Ordered three meals. Chicken salad Steak bowel Chicken burrito Chicken taco Barely any meat on any of these items. Our food was over flowing with Black Beans! This was absolutely disgusting as well as expensive. Two years ago their food was great. I'll never order for my family again from Tijuana Flats. read more

Shout out to Fran! Awesome manager, great with her customers and loyalty to the company! I love their tacos and a burrito once in awhile!

A burrito to go so that I could eat at my desk, it was pretty decent. A nice amount of chicken and other stuffings was tasty and filling. Was it GREAT? No. It was A-OK and in my opinion, better than the fast food joints nearby. Interesting concept, a sauce bar. Not the same thing as Moe's has with a salsa bar, these are not the kind you pour over the top or that you dip your chips into. The "to go" cups for the sauce bar were about a teaspoon each. I'm not kidding you. Yes, they do take out but I think you're much better off with eating in. read more

My experience with this store versus the one in Clermont has been much better. The staff is always friendly, the food here is made better, every time, and they don't seem to skimp on things like the other location does. I love their nachos and chimichangas. read more

If you expect refills on your chips, salsa, queso, or quac like every other Tijuana Flats does don't come here. The guy the at register was very rude and didn't know what he was doing. Also one of the slowest wait times I've had and hardly anyone was in the restaurant. They need the manager from Eustis to come help them out here and show them how it's done. read more

Love this place. Food is great and you get plenty of it for what you pay. People are friendly and very helpful with the menu.

No real vegetarian options. I was a bit disappointed. My friends liked it. So I gave a mixed rating.

Poor curbside and pickup. Every time over the past few attempts, which I've given several in attempt to redeem themselves, has been poor. The food is never correct, it's always cold, or you're always missing something. They will say " you can just bring it back to the store and we can correct it". No thanks, you don't seems to want to change your service or even remotely attempt to correct any reoccurring issue. Absolutely horrible. read more

Just FYI, this business is no longer CLOSED! I ate here yesterday. I personally do not understand what everyone loves about this place. My fiance and I stopped here yesterday because I had been craving burritos. We ordered a REGULAR chicken and a REGULAR carnitas burrito plus two drinks and the bill was $18. ICK. The burritos were TINY. The tortillas were dry. I do not even understand their concept of putting together a burrito. NO BEANS, but they include lettuce, jalapenos and BLACK OLIVES. WTF. The atmosphere is absolutely horrible. There's a lame mural covering the wall and they play Top-40 music. Come-on, these restaurants are marketed as MEXICAN. Oh, and the cute, blond wait-staff are FAR FROM MEXICAN! Apparently I need to hop on a plane and take a trip to San Francisco if I want a REAL burrito. read more

Hey...I like this place! The manager and employees are welcoming and the price is right. Once I got past the odd format, I was really ok. I get an uneasy feeling when I walk into a restaurant and I am asked "have you ever been here before?" I know I'm into some kind of unusual format. The way it works is that you grab a menu and choose what you want. Most items come in small, medium, and large and everything is mix and match so you can get exactly what you want. I had a small burrito and my husband had a medium...both sizes were perfect for us. I chose rice and black beans and got my burritos "wet," that is with salsa topping. Other choices are available as well. Additionally, they have a bar set up with sauces...from hot to OMG!!!! I'M ON FIRE!!!! Atmosphere is relaxed. The only thing I would prefer is full table service. The way ordering is set up, you go up to the counter to order and pay and then a server brings everything out to you. Is the cuisine authentic? No. But it is still tasty and the price is right. This place is quick, fun, and casual. It's an upscale fast food joint that serves beer, wine, and sangria! A place that you want to hang out in and stop off for a quick beer or sangria and some chips and salsa in the evening. Try the chulas for dessert. You won't be sorry. read more

I can't understand what the hype is about this place. I guess if you compare it to Taco Bell, it's awesome. But there's nothing remotely authentic or good about this place. Dry tortillas. Tiny burritos. A hot sauce bar that's just overkill. I could go on and on. This place is like the hooters of burritos. Save your money and go across the street to Habaneros if you want something authentic and reasonably priced. read more

I am not sure why I return here after consistently being underwhelmed. I know there are many people who love TF but I don't know why. Today I ordered two meals to go only to get home and fine my meal missing guacamole and salsa. I spent $9 for some lettuce and meat. I should have know this would happen as the table I was waiting next to didn't get anything they actually ordered. I guess my recommendation is to check your order before leaving. read more

Very disappointed to sit and watch three customers that ordered after us receive their food before we received ours. When we asked the second time where our food was, The one cashier said he had to take an order from a table then he'd go see. One dude that ordered way after us ate and left before we got our food. I did complain, the manager gave us some snack and apologized, but honestly I won't be back. read more

The food is great and the staff are attentive and caring. A nice variety of sauces and taco Tuesday is not to be missed

Every time we visit here there is always great service from cashier to the chef, and the food is always hot! Chimichangas and chicken quesadillas are my favorite with half&half sweet tea. I love "Slap My Ass and Call Me Sally" sauce on anything from here! read more

Horrible experience!! After ordering on the phone (waited on hold for a while), went to go pick up order at Curbside Pickup. When I called the restaurant when I arrived on time to the Curbside Pickup, nobody answered after more than 15 minutes waiting on the phone. Tried several other times calling with no luck. Saw many other customers besides myself parking at Curbside and going in because they were not answering phones. I had to go inside and expose myself to other people to get my order. Brought it to the attention of one of the staff, but she did not care, apologize, or offer to help bring my food out. Had to come back in twice since I had to carry 3 large drinks in my hands (which they did not have a holder for) plus the bag order. Because of the long wait, the crunchy tacos we ordered were cold, soggy and didn't taste good. What's the point of having a Curbside Pickup when you never answer the phones?!? Never again will visit!! read more

There is a non-stop party going on at Tijuana Flats. You would think that meant the food is bangin. But it wasn't. Me and my friend ordered flautas which were mediocre. And we waited a good 30 minutes for that. Just standing there. Waiting for take out. So sad. But I will say that the wait staff were super nice and offered us drinks and stuff while we waited. Always a plus. read more

I've been to this location before and other locations before and nev the customer neglect my family experienced today. More workers than usual and less attention to the customer's needs. Plenty of staff members, but all talking in the back. I needed more utensils when my son dropped his spoon and to-go lids and refills and never got any assistance. I had to wait behind the long ordering line to ask for these things. That's not fair to the register workers either to make them do the extra work that the dining room staff should be covering. I was not impressed with being ignored. read more

Big fan of tijuana flats and eat there 2-3 times a month but I waited 22 minutes on hold when I called this one to order for pick up. Usually would order on the website but the app wasn't working and then they still messed up my food. Maybe servers were having a bad day but not very happy with the situation currently read more

My fiancé is obsessed with Tijuana Flats. I'm not a huge fan, but he is. Maybe I just order the wrong things. I think the food is okay. The atom bombs are the BEST. And don't let them tell you that they can't make them to order, because they can. Here's my experience with that situation: Sometimes I order Atom Bombs and they're just too spicy, too many jalapeños for me. I always said they'd be great without jalapeños or with just a few. So my friend, who worked there for a long while, told me that I could ask for it that way. And I did. The girl at the register told me it was no problem, and asked one of the assistant managers (? I guess) how to put it in the order so that the kitchen knew. The guy was really rude and told me it couldn't be done that way because they make them all up in the morning. I told him that his information was false, because I had a friend who worked there and said it could be done. He said "well, we can, but not when we're this busy." This busy? There was no one in line behind us, and there were maybe 6 people in the entire place! I said "really?" and he finally admitted that he could do it, but you could tell he really didn't feel like it. He also called me a "bitch" under his breath. Extremely unprofessional!! The female cashier apologized for his behavior when he walked away, and apologized again when she served us our food. That's the only poor experience I've had here. My fiancé eats there so often they know his usual order. I've resorted to just eating Atom Bombs, because it's the only thing I'm really impressed with. I'm not a huge mexican fan though either. read more

Not as good as the other location I was at. This one seemed like they were understaffed. The nachos were burnt on the edges and the meat and cheese was applied as if it was coming directly out of the expeditor's wallet/paycheck. read more

They changed their menu and it was a mistake, the food taste different it's not quite the same, I had the chimichanga beef the flavor was completely different from before and the cheese sauce they placed on top of it, it was so bland, it was like they watered down the sauce ( no flavor), they also took the salsa verde, the one sauce that everybody ordered it was so good it's a shame they took it away, and they also took away the enchiladas, the only good thing is that they added Angry orchard the beer menu.... service was great like always and the managers are alway attentive..... I'm giving them 2 stars because they took away the salsa verde, enchiladas and the flavor is completely different.... read more

I loved this place! I took my fiance there for our first date night back in March and it was our first time there. Our waitress was very attentive to us and was very helpful with helping us decide on what we wanted to order. She also bent over backwards for us and asked management if we could receive the chips for free as it was our first time there. The food was delicious I ordered the chicken tijuana burrito wet with no jalapenos as since I can't handle spicy food. My fiance ordered the mega chimichanga wet. The food was so delicious that we instantly knew we would be back to this business. Overall I loved this location because it wasn't super busy and it was nice and quiet. read more

Great alternative to campus dining at LSSC! Also, a great place to meet up with friends to celebrate after final exams are all finished!

This place is amazing! Everything from the atmosphere, food and customer service is exceptional! All the staff go above and beyond to make customers happy! I wish there was one of these in Alabama! The servers were so nice and helpful and the manager gave me a large container of their peach sauce on the house because I wanted to buy a bottle and they were out. We will be back before we leave this week. read more

We went with our neighbors who suggested your restaurant and it was close to home. What a surprise. The food was really good. My husband tried the sauce bar. I didn't because what I ordered came with this cheesy sauce that was to good to put another sauce on it. We liked the beer selection so that means another visit. The service was outstanding. Wish all restaurants would pay attention to this kind of service. Maggie at the counter was great. A number of time staff including the manager came to our table to see if we were ok and did we need anything. We are definitely going back. read more

The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. We love the Taco Tuesdaze and Throwback Thursdaze!

This location is much like the rest of the TJ Flats chain.... quick, cheap, satisfying. It's got a convenient location across from the mall and easy parking in its adjacent parking lot. The menu has changed recently from the original, but most of the items are still the same. I did prefer the original menu because it had different sizes for each item (small, medium large -- this was great for someone like me who can't eat huge portions in one sitting; I appreciated the cost-effectiveness of ordering a small burrito, for example) Delicious queso and salty chips, fresh and plentiful toppings with whatever dish you choose, and the ability to make your food "wet" with queso -- quite possibly my favorite thing about Tijuana Flats. I recommend the chimichangas wet with queso. This is a good place for a quick, relaxed, and casual meal. The service is good and there's plenty of room for experimentation at the hot sauce bar. :) read more
