I am literally Chipotle's BIGGEST fan but this location is awful. I came in 5pm on a Monday and the THREE trash bins were literally overflowing to the floor. Yuck. If I could give no stars I would, I have nothing against the elderly however at this chipotle if you have the older gentleman serving you on the line, you might as well save your money because he literally gives you pinches of everything. This chipotle is closest to me but I literally drive 20 minutes away to next chipotle. I am currently taking that drive because he is on shift. The money I spend on gas is less than the money I'd be wasting getting served by him. Even the employees know that he sucks. read more

I usually don't go to this location on San Jose... they were understaffed which I completely understand. However the workstation was nowhere close to clean and there wasn't a single customer in there. The employees were all hanging out talking and ignored me for 3 straight minutes. It was unbelievable as a very patient and understanding service worker myself. Ever since the guy Brian left it has gone down hill. He kinda seemed like a jerk but a jerk that kept the place running smoother. Chipotle used to be my go to place but with all the locations nearby going downhill they need to pay their employees more or change things. If you go during the day, you're usually fine. The food is normally food is normally fresh, hot and better prepared than other places. However, every time I've gone at night, the service and food quality are not worth the higher premium. Tonight, for example, I ordered on the app, walked in, and the trash was over flowing. There was 1 person waiting for a togo and about 7 people in line. I could see about 4 crewmembers -- which is about what I see during a day shift. However, everyone at night was moving at a snails pace. I waited 20 minutes past my order completion time and when I received it, I checked the bag to find soft tacos instead of the hard I'd ordered. I went back inside and was told they were out (worker was a bit short, fine). When I took it home to eat it, everything was cold. So, to summarize, cold food, bad service, and you don't get what you ordered. Plus it cost me about $45 for food for 3 entrees and 2 large bags of chips. You're better off going to Moes or cooking at home for that. I've been going to this Chipotle for years and I think this is likely my last visit. There's no reason to pay that much for that poor of an experience. read more

The big lady with the blonde hair was being extremely rude towards her employees, she was rushing us customers to pay for foods, the portions of the food was so small even though we pay a good amount of money for it. This is the closest Chipotle to me, but I would rather walk 10 miles in the rain to the Town Center location than take the risk of breaking my teeth on their uncooked rice. You will need at least two large fountain drinks to get down the most dry burrito you have ever had. Worst chipotle experience Ive ever had. They were out of everything TWO hours before they close on a Monday... But the worst part was when I ask for barbacoa he gave me maybe 3oz which is under their mandatory 4oz, it wasn't enough meat for one person. Worst location in all of Florida! Every time we go, half the food isn't available. The staff are always miserable and the manager is rude to them so it makes sense. All the tables were dirty and my bowl ended up missing several items bc they didn't wanna get more from the back... they did get more out for the next person lol. All the employees were behind the counter standing around and every table in the dining room was dirty as I'll get out. I was appalled by the state of the restaurant today. There was only one patron when I walked in and I noticed every single table was dirty. I ordered my food and had to order the chicken instead of my usual barbacoa because it was so dry it looked like beef jerky and I was told they didn't have anymore, it was 3:30 in the afternoon. They were also out of corn and the medium salsa. The vinaigrette dressing was not made correctly, it looked and tasted different than anytime I had it in the past. The ice machine was broken, no sign that it wasn't working. The worst part was the giant pile of trash in the restaurant, there was no place to put our trash because of the mountain of trash. I watched an employee walk over and look at it and walk away and never change it the entire time I was in the restaurant. While I was eating there was only one other customer that dined in and they had to clean their own table off in order to sit down. I really enjoy chipotle and frequent this location, however, I believe the management needs coaching due to the state of the restaurant and the complete lack of care by the employees. read more

We ordered online via the Chipotle website. One of the items we ordered was a single Chicken and Fajita Vegetable Taco. The taco we received is pictured, containing only three chunks of chicken and two pieces of vegetable. Assuming this was a mistake (keep in mind I ordered and paid for delivery), I drove to the restaurant and presented the taco to the cashier, Gladis, and asked if this was correct. To my surprise, Gladis confirmed that it was, attributing it to portion control. And couldn't comprehend why I had an issue with what I was showing her. In Gladis's defense, she did offer to remake it for me as if what I was asking was some kind of special request and she was doing me a favor. However, since Gladis had already established that what was delivered to me was 'normal,' I saw no reason to repeat the exercise. I was expecting something along the lines of 'Oh, that's a mistake; let us fix that for you,' not 'That is normal due to portion control.' Moreover, Gladis struggled to understand why I was unhappy when the three flour tortillas we ordered were missing, especially since I had only ordered a single taco. There is no correlation, and I'm still trying to figure out that logic. Happily, I left with my three missing tortillas. read more

Horrific - unreliable - awful bulk order experience! Do NOT RISK!!!!! I ordered a bulk order for a party 3 days ago and scheduled a delivery of the order via Uber Eats, as food for a gathering. It was the only food I was serving for a women's line dancing event. Through the week I got messages about the order. I even got one they were prepping the order. 30 minutes before guests arrived they cancelled the order. I was party prepping and did not see. Literally guests walking in the door I had NO FOOD - this was an easy affordable food option for 35 women!!!!!!!!! I was frantic I mean frantic. I ended up calling a local restaurant La Napolera and they put it together and brought it to me in 35 min. Chipotle this was a charity event I was trying to be careful with my costs your horrible customer service cost me so much stress and several $100's. You lost a customer and every woman attending the event learned about Chipotles failure - as embarrassingly guests had to help me put the food when the replacement restaurant pulled up. Chipotle your management should be ASHAMED. Someone should have picked up the phone or texted me - my contact was in my order. First, I will start this with the fact that Chipotle Mexican Chipotle Grill is probably my go-to fast food restaurant. It is relatively healthy (especially when compared to those fast-food burger joints) and just as important, they are very good. I had never been to thus location before, which surprised me. I am in Jacksonville, Florida quite a bit on business and thought that I had tried all the Chipotle locations. I guess not. Service here was pretty good. If you are unfamiliar with Chipotle Mexican Grill, you walk up to the counter and place your order. It is usually an assembly line type progress where you pick your base of rice, beans, protein and the various toppings and either get it to go or you can grab a seat in the dining room. The fancy term for this now is fast casual, it is just a way to put some distance between the negativity of what the words fast food have become to mean. My go-to is a burrito bowl and I usually go with their chicken or steak (or sometimes a mix of the two). If you are looking for authentic Mexican, I would look elsewhere. However, if you are seeking a fast and delicious meal that has its roots in Mexican cooking while still being very Americanized, I would definitely recommend Chipotle Mexican Grill. read more

I visited Chipotle on Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL on the evening of 10/11/25. I passed several restaurants to give my business to them and boy was I offended and certainly not appreciated as a valued customer. I am a rewards member and have never been treated so disrespectfully. The server Treasure was literally slamming our bowls on the counter and had a seriously bad attitude. I understand the hour for late however there was no excuse for how we were treated. The manager Gabiel was not much help unfortunately. I drove back to go and get my queso, and the chipotle workers proceeded to argue with me that I did not get queso, even with me showing them the receipt that clearly said queso. Just left this location at 10:31 pm tonight (5/10/2024). A couple in front of us walked out without ordering anything. It was our turn to order- before either of us could utter a word, one of the women behind the counter said, "we no have chicken, steak, tortillas or rice. Just salad and side available!" They were also cleaning off and turning off the tortilla warmer so we just said thanks and left. On a Friday night 30 minutes before closing and nearly every main ingredient is put up for the night? I worked in the service industry for quite awhile so I understand wanting to wrap up and leave for the night but at the number of places I worked, we never started shutting down even a minute before close of business. Chipotle is usually a good and healthy fast food alternative. I also like the small outdoor area in Mandarin. In the time of Covid19 having outdoor dining is a big plus. When I stopped by a few nights ago I was excited to try Carne Asada. A limited time offer. I ordered the salad with Carne Asada. My meal was topped heavily with meat that was so tasty. The salad greens, pinto beans, Pico de Gallo, was such a satisfying meal. The portion was large so I I only ate 1/2 & took the rest home. The service was quick. The only disappointment was the cluttered outdoor area. The trash can near my table was so disgusting. My rating of 3 is due to a 4 for taste & a 2 for cleanliness. They need to do better in keeping the outdoor dining area neat & clean. read more

Chipotle is going down the tubes. I remember when Chipotle was booming with fresh burritos and lime tortilla chips with delicious guacamole. I decided to take advantage of the BOGO free burrito bowl and burrito. I added the usual items with an extra tortilla because the portions usually leak out. Turns out I didn't need the extra tortilla. The size was that of a store-bought burrito. The taste was off too; the fajita veggies were not cooked through, there was NO spice from the medium sauce, and hardly ANY meat! The ONE piece I DID see was cut VERY small as if it was meant for a child to consume. The tortilla chips tasted like they were going stale and had ZERO flavor. The guacamole was also lacking in flavor. The burrito was the free item so maybe this is what you get, but that is NOT how customer service is supposed to be. read more

Whenever I need a quick snack, i always find myself making a pit stop at chipotle. They are hands down my favorite fast food chain with high quality ingredients and a versatile menu. While picking up some groceries and beauty supplies I grew hungry and thought I'd redeem my free chips and guac, so i headed on over to chipotle! I never like to play around with my order and always find myself ordering a barbacoa bowl or burrito, but i'm trying to eat more plant based foods and i switched up my order to a taco and my protein to softitas! Needless to say i was very impressed with the flavor they held resembling peppers and seasoning. They were juicy and a nice texture making them taste as if they were their own dish rather than some bland meat alternative. This makes it easy for vegetarians and vegans to feel accommodated to rather than being a burden. I also enjoyed the taco more than i thought as i don't like to stray away from my usual order. Thankfully the staff let me load it up with rice, salsa, fajita veggies, lettuce, and cheese! On top of the great food, this location was fast moving, cleanly, and the fajita veggies were on point! Food was great. Portions were not disappointing and it's great to eat fast food that's pretty healthy! I got the chicken burrito bowl which is always good, and their asada(seasonal) was also great(a bit salty, but tasty). I miss the days when I could apply my own salsas but otherwise Chipotle is an amazing option. They warned me the hot salsa was hot, I did not head the warning, still delicious! I love the new quesadillas at Chipotle! They are made with their regular meat and cheese and pressed nicely into the quesadilla. It also comes with three sides so it's really a perfect meal. The service was really great and they warned me about the recent up charge for the quesadilla. This meal is supposed to be only for online orders, but the kind employees allowed me to get it anyways. The do have outside seating, but their inside seating is still closed. read more
