Today was my first time at Zaxbys. I'm new to Florida. I'm giving 2 stars because of the customer service. However, the FOOD WAS AMAZING! I will definitely check out another location. There was a young man by the name of Logan who initiated taking mine & my family's order. I mentioned it was our first time so we were asking questions about the menu. He seemed annoyed & a bit racist as he just looked around at my family. (I'm Hispanic). In the middle of our order, he said "I'll be right back I have to go take care of something for else". He walked away & another young man came to finish off our order. Logan was in sight and I could see he in fact, did not have anything else to take care of. Some people just suck. read more

We have come to this location many times. Only this location offers free kids meal when you buy an entree. We were able to go through the drive through and still receive the deal but then they changed it to dine in only. Today, they said that the salad no longer counts as an entree. I cannot eat a lot of fried, fast food, etc so I usually get the grilled chicken Cobb salad. To me, it seems like they are trying to get people to not get the deal since they keep making changes to it but while still "offering" it. It is nice that they offer it, don't get me wrong, but I don't think we will be stopping by again. It's still over $40 for a fam of 4 (with one free kids meal, not 2.). read more

Went for a few peach teas and a large fry to split. The tea was WAY too sweet, but I saw they make it with peach syrup. The car in front of us at the drive thru seemed to cause issues, but the staff was friendly and quick getting our order ready. The fries had been made for quite some time, but we did get there around 2pm (not a particularly busy time). They recently remodeled, but I'm not aware of what was changed. read more

Ordered wings and things paid around 17-18 bucks. Bit into a wing and it tasted squishy and rubbery. Upon further review the chicken was raw. Literally a vein with blood staring at me. Went back wanting to just get some tenders to replace the wings(equal value) was told they could refund me for the wings and I had to re order. Who serves raw chicken? If I could give a zero star I would! I don't know how this place hasn't been reported yet for sanitary reasons. This is supposed to be a place where you can come in and eat. This place is disgusting! There's literally gunk on the bathroom floors. They don't clean their tables. Every table I passed had some food or stain in it. They messed up my order which never happens at any zaxbys I go too. Their ice machine didn't work had to ask to see if they had ice back behind counter. Plastic from straws all on the counter. Counter was filthy. Everything in this place was literally filthy. My 5 stars is not for zaxbys. It's for an employee at zaxbys ( Ryland) he should be a manager. I ordered my lunch online, I arrived 3minutes before pickup time. I waited 27minutes. Ryland apologized several times and offered me a drink for my inconvenience. I understand the get get busy at lunch time, 8-10 cars deep in the drive through, lines and dining area filled with hungry construction workers and other business people on their lunch breaks. Ryland was very attentive and accommodating to everyone... " keeping the peace" and doing a damned good job at it. In this day and age where everyone is addicted to instant gratification and online bashing when things don't go as planned, I like to point out the positives. So thank you, Ryland for caring about my time today. It's because if employees like you, that I will return time and time again... even if I have to eat my lunch while driving, because I lost my 30minutes lunch break waiting in your lobby. read more

I've stayed away from Zaxby's for about 8 years due to how boring their flavors are and the poor quality of its boneless wings. However, my weakness for Asian flavors and great marketing by Zaxby's made me try them once again and the result? ...... Seriously? You call that General Tso's? I think the last time I had boneless wings this bland was those frozen Anytizers you find at the grocery store. It got to the point where I was enjoying plain chicken fingers with ketchup leagues more than the wings. In fact, at least the fingers had fairly juicy meat in them in contrast to the boneless rocks I was given. I'm glad I was able to reaffirm I wasn't wrong in avoiding Zaxby's. Don't even bother eating here, there's countless places nearby serving much tastier food for the same price. read more

I give this location a chance once a year or so and every time they are painfully slow with everything. Every time you use drive thru, "look at the menu I'll be back". Every time you order it's 10+ minutes. There are always plenty of folks on staff so I don't see why y'all are so damn slow every time. read more

Ordered through the app and accidentally selected the wrong location. When I showed up to the intended location and realized my mistake, the manager and staff immediately got to work preparing my order so I didn't have to drive way out of way. My family ate at this place a few times a month, at least. We typically order a chicken sandwich, chicken fingers, and a kids finger meal. Thankfully it's hard to screw that up but more often than not they'd forget extra sauces (that I paid for) or forget to swap coleslaw for toast or fries, give us a reg vs spicy chicken sandwich, etc. But I would just let it slide because the food is good and I'm not that high strung. My last experience was so bad that I will not spend another dollar at any Zaxby's. I ordered the same thing I always do...they asked me to pull up to a spot in the drive through after I paid for my order, which is almost a given when you go there but this time made no sense because there was nobody even in line behind me. When I got home, one of the meals was completely wrong. There were no sauces in any of the boxes, except the kids meal which had Zax sauce (I specifically asked for ranch), no sauces at all in the other two meals, and missing the five extra sauces that I paid for. We had just got back into Jacksonville after a ten hour roadtrip and went straight to Zaxby's on our way home so I wasn't going to just let it slide this time. I called the restaurant and spoke to the cashier. I explained to her that the order was wrong but that my wife was just going to eat it, and that they forgot all of our sauces. She offered to remake the food or give me a refund for the wrong order. I opted for the refund so she asked me to bring my receipt in. When I got to the restaurant, the "manager" (Faith) declined to refund my money because I didn't have the food. I told him I just spoke to the cashier and explained the situation. They told me to bring in the receipt for a refund, so here I am. He then told me that my receipt was NOT the receipt for my food (it absolutely was the receipt), but he also refused to give me the receipt back. Weird. He told me that I was not getting a refund and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave....So I called Zaxby's corporate office (which was great BTW) and the representative stayed on the line with me until the police showed up. She says that my card is being refunded for the entire order but I haven't seen it yet. I am thoroughly disgusted by this situation. It takes a lot for me to write a review, especially a negative one, but this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. I worked in the service industry for 15 years. It is not hard to look at a ticket and put the right thing in the bag, or to be hospitable and courteous, and to not treat customers like an inconvenience when they walk in because they interrupted your phone scrolling time. If this review gets in front of anyone that matters I'd highly encourage you to look deeper into how this particular store is run. It's the only one I ever go to so I can't comment on others but I hope they aren't all this bad. We have been going there for YEARS and the last 2-3 are really when all of the problems started. On May 25, my son and I visited this Zaxbys for lunch. When I ordered, I asked the cashier if we could get the 20 wings half were half (10) tossed in Buffalo Garlic and half (10) tossed in Sweet & Spicy. He checked with the manager and then told us it could be done but there would be a .25 cent upcharge. I didn't understand why but being in a hurry I said sure and ordered it ($26.36 total with tax). When it came, they were all tossed in Sweet & Spicy, and I was given a cup of (regular) buffalo dipping sauce. I asked to speak to the manager, and kindly explained that I had paid some kind of upcharge to get half the wings in the Garlic Buffalo sauce and the other half of wings in the Sweet & Spicy, but they all had Sweet & Spicy and I was given a cup of regular buffalo sauce. The manager was adamant that it just couldn't be done, and that if I still wanted the 10 Buffalo Garlic wings I would have to order and pay for them. Being in a hurry, I just ordered the additional 10 wings (another $13.39) so we could get going. It should be noted that although it wasn't busy at this time, it appeared every customer there had delays and/or errors in their orders. Later I completed their online survey and reported what happened and assumed someone would contact me to remedy this, but it's been a month and no one has. read more

Avoid this disorganized store that STILL HAS ThEIR LOBBY CLOSED! We attempted again and for the last time to try this location at Marbon Rd. We pulled up at about 8:45pm to a long line of cars. People start leaving the line without ordering. We finally pulled up to a non working screen with its lights out. We called the store and said "hey are you guys still open?" The girl tells us yes. Then when we went to order at the window the guy tells us they are too backed up to place our order. Now at this time only 3 cars were ahead of us waiting on their orders. As is usual at Zaxby's the staff was friendly and efficient. The girl at the counter was ready to help, but I knew what I wanted this time. The boneless buffalo wings meal, which includes a self-serve drink and seasoned fries. It wasn't long before our food was ready. After I picked it up at the front counter, I was at my seat and ready to dig in. Not the best wings I've ever had, but they hit the spot and I was satisfied. My partner's salad, the reason he comes here, I'm told was delicious. All the tables were clean, as was the floor and the trash emptied. It was nice to be able to pick a seat and actually sit there without cleaning it first. read more

Never fails, they are always friendly, fast, and accurate when taking and giving my order! On the days when we have to take a faster lunch this is always a great spot. The deal here is that it just doesn't feel like fast food, it's really more like a diner with counter service! I on top of all of that, there food is actually quite delicious and the zalads are filling. I only wish zaxbys had a menu available that told what all came with what. I pulled up to the drive thru Saturday afternoon for dinner. I was greeted by a nice young lady. She was very helpful. I ordered a 5 piece chicken strip dinner, and I asked about the new jerk sauce to dip my chicken in, she said no problem would you like anything else? I said yes, some ranch and extra ketchup. I pulled up to the window and a very happy to be at work smiling young lady said hello and gave me the total. I paid and got my drink. I put my card away and looked up and my food was handed to me. I said thank you and drove away. I parked in the parking lot to eat. I was very happy. I got everything I asked for and the food was hot and very fresh. I was so happy with my meal, I went in and asked for the manager. I thanked her and told her my service and food was top notch. Good job to all!!! read more

Full disclosure, I am NOT a huge Zaxby's fan to begin with because I believe they are extremely overpriced. Today I decided to give them another shot and without fail I walked away with an even lower opinion than I started with. First, there were only 2 orders ahead of me and it took me 30 mins to get my food. Second, when we got our food is was cold, soggy, and flavorless. The chips we half burnt and half raw (still can't figure out how they did that). Third, no napkins in the dining area so every time you needed a napkin you have to ask the person at the camera who hands them out 1 at a time. I will not be returning to another Zaxby's and based on my experience today, corporate needs to get someone to this site quick before they end up having to shut it down. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. 3-5-2017 and spent $9 on an entry. They gave me cold fries and chicken tenders that had been sitting all day as they were over done, dried out and cold. 8 employees all in back not paying attention to food or location as 1/2 the tables had garbage on them. I've been going to this zaxybys for years and their service and food have always been amazing. The workers are always polite and get the food out to you fast. Every time is use the drive-thru, my wait time is usually less than 3 minutes! I usually order the wings and things and it always comes out to perfection even though it only takes them a couple of minutes to get the food to me. Very productive and very tasty! read more

Great service, nice girl took my order and was very helpful and friendly. Food was well cooked and the french fries were perfect!! I wish they had larger containers for the ketchup because the little ones are burdensome but really not a problem at all. My main reason to liking this restaurant is the staff. I go to this Zaxbys about once a week. I order the same thing every time. Buffalo Chicken Finger Plate tossed in hot honey mustard, extra toast, no Cole slaw, and a drink. It's usually wonderful and a reason I come back. But on this day was awful. My chicken tenders had burnt smell, they looked perfectly fine so I decided to try and eat them. I usually make a sandwich out of the tenders and two pieces of toast so I did and when I took the first bite I got an awful bitter taste in my mouth. Like burnt plastic smell, but in my mouth. It wasn't enjoyable at all. I tried on, assuming it could've been a bad tender that was ruining the bunch, or maybe even the toast, but it wasn't. All of the tenders had an awful burnt plastic taste that I have never experienced before. I enjoyed the fries and the toast and the service is always super speedy and friendly so they get two stars but the tenders were inedible and the main course so I have to give a bad review.
