They do have outdoor seating available during warmer weather. I placed my online order and reached the store in 15 minutes. The order was ready, and there was no delay. The place is well maintained. However, I feel this store ingredients are not to fresh level compared to others. But located in a main area, this is OK. read more

I use to go to this Chipotle once a week (typically on a wednesday at 11 ish). I have been noticing that the management at this location has been going down hill for about a year now. Today (15 July 2026 at 11:25) I decided to go back. Mistake! I walk in and there are only 2 people in front of me. The guy directly in front of me shakes his head and walks out. I should have followed him out the door. Then the first guy looks directly at the manager (who is filling a catering order off of the line in front of us, NOT the back). She emptied the white rice, chicken, and queso. She left only a very small amount of beans. He asked when he will be waited on. She tells another employee to wait on him. Again should have been my cue to leave. He gives his order, then my turn comes up. Employee askes me what rice I want. I look at him and say well, you only have brown rice.. So I guess I will have that. Then he askes beans.. Again I look at him and go really. Then he asks what protein. I say I want chicken. He tells me it will be about 5 minutes. At this time I spoke directly to the manager. I told her it was NOT a good look for her to fill a catering order, taking all the food off the line, and then having waiting customers being told to wait longer. I then informed her this is NOT how to win repeat customers. The only thing I got out of here was "I know".. The employee helping me tells me that he can go in the back and get the chicken off that line. To which I reply, why wasn't the manager back there filling the order? In the end I got home.. Threw the order away and went to the Chipotle in Thorndale. Got a completely different experience. It was nice. I will NOT be returning to the Chipotle in Exton... Ever. read more

I swore off chipotle by my old work in west Chester. For some reason I chose to try again. Mistake. Both times the tables have been dirty, covered with excess food. Both times the service area looked like a hurricane hit it. First time they had to wait for non cilantro rice, second time none available. I got half serving brown rice because I couldn't see much in it. Google it! Cilantro is gross to some people. Place is totally understaffed. Both times only one person making the burritos. Writing this review as I watch people ahead of me in line opt to leave rather than continue to wait and order. As I type this, the manager has been offering another employee her perspective on a customer who had placed a catering order and was "so rude" because they did not receive the 4 large orders of chips/guacamole they'd paid for. Not sure why she needs to express her thoughts so loud while the line is at a standstill waiting for her to put gloves on, but here we are. It's been 20 minutes since I got here and staff has made the decision to begin to process mobile orders that are behind, so we continue to wait. I understand there's a hiring shortage, reliable staff are hard to find, all the typical excuses. I can't believe I'm having to review a Chipotle, but my experience at this location has been so consistently bad that it seems necessary. Something has occurred in the management of this location during the last year that has completely ruined this location. 1) it's always a filthy mess. The food debris across the counter is a huge turn off and can't be sanitary. It looked like a hurricane hit when I was the last night. There was no effort made to wipe the counters 2) the food orders are never correct. Last night my quesadilla orders did not come with any of the sides. My experience at this Chipotle location has been the worst I have ever had at a fast-food restaurant. 1. The veggie bowl I ordered should have been to be with sofritas. Instead, it came with some type of meat. 2. I ordered the quesadilla and we are supposed to get three sides, but with mine, I only got 2 of them. I placed a mobile order at 5:30 and was told my order would be ready by 5:55-6:00. I entered chipotle at 6 and told them I received a text stating my order was ready. I gave them my name and they said it wasn't ready. I waited 10 minutes. Gave them my name again, still wasn't ready. 20 minutes go by. At this point, it's been almost an hour since I placed the order. People who were at the back of the line when I got there had came, placed their order and left with their food. I'm also visibly pregnant at 30 weeks, holding my 30lb son who's crying. The worker gets someone else's food, and asks my name again. When I tell him, he grabs a bag that had been sitting there the entire time I was there. I even asked him earlier what the bags behind him were, and he said oh they're nothing. After all that, they forgot the sides and drink for my son. This is the second experience I've had like this at Exton Chipotle. We will not be back. read more

Let me start by saying this: I downloaded yelp and created an account just so I could leave a review on this place. If you would like to know what the word incompetence means, I highly advise coming here. One of the employees was mocking the customers and acting like an absolute clown. I would compare the experience here similar to seeing your grandma naked while eating dog feces. Here are just a few problems: 1. The quality of service sucks. There are a couple good eggs which deserve credit, but "May the odds be ever in your favor" with that. Because you'll most likely end up with some nincompoop. 2. If you order online, they will mess you your order. And you can take that and your sorry butt (if for some reason you hate yourself and come here) to the stinkin bank. And even if you order in front of them, the employees generally pay so little attention that they will probably mess that up too. Oh, you think I just had one bad experience? I have given them 5 chances, and I have had to wait an hour on two separate occasions, and the other three times my order was wrong. This is not a location that we usually go to, but we were early for an eye appointment. The customer service was horrible. I walked in with my daughter and saw no one. I walked up to order and 3 individuals walk to the front speaking loudly and using profane language. One person had on their gloves and was watching a video which seemed inappropriate, but perhaps it was work related. The display counter was pure dirty. No wipe downs had been done. That alone made me want to leave, but I promised my child some Chipotle today, and I do take into consideration that lunch hours may be busy, although we arrived at 2. As I was placing my order I mistakenly said guacamole (I'm used to ordering that for myself). I said no, once I realized and she asked did I want it all the side. I said yes so that I would still pay for it even though it wouldn't be used because this was for my child. The young woman who was assisting me went on to mutter, "but you didn't say that. She didn't say that. She said guac, so that's what I did." Shaking her head and making a scene. It made me very uncomfortable and I said that I did not want the food at all. I was never rude. This was an honest mistake, but this type of customer service should not be tolerated. It's clear the management in there has no control or doesn't care about representation. I've never been in a Chipotle and experienced this type of behavior. I don't think I've been to any establishment in Exton and experienced this. Not to mention. I usually use Chipotle for major client events because it's a crowd pleaser. This experience has made me not want to use them any longer. How unfortunate. read more

I would avoid this location if at all possible. I went there for dinner this past weekend with my girlfriend (11/12/21) there was about 9-10 people in front of us, but it took almost 45 minutes to get our food. For whatever reason, there were only two employees working, and only one was making food. The 2nd employee was ringing people up and cleaning up the kitchen (which was odd because it was 8pm and they close at 10pm). After waiting over 30 minutes to order, we discovered they were out of a TON of ingredients (meats, guacamole, and a couple other items) I couldn't order what I wanted due to this but ordered anyway since we had waited so long already. After our food was waited a bit for the 2nd employee to come back to ring us up as she was in the back cleaning. When we went to go sit down we discovered that there were no napkins; no forks/spoons/knives, no hot sauce, and some of the fountain drink options were empty. Went back up to ask for some napkins and utensils, they took a while, then when we went to sit down every single table in the restaurant was filthy, I'm not joking when I say EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in hours, every single trash can was overflowing. I felt really bad for the employees, they were very friendly and our food was very good, but I could see they were visibly very stressed. Can chock the whole situation up to very poor management; if you do not have enough employees to open your restaurant, do not open your restaurant, plain and simple. This is the worst Chiptole I have been to in the Philadelphia area. I can deal with expensive food. I can deal with bad service. I can deal with small portions. But this place manages to have all three. After having been here multiple times, I had to write a review, as after paying, the cashier (tall, blonde girl) threw my food onto the counter before walking into the back. Once I got home I realized the lid either came open after it was thrown or was not properly sealed, and it spilled all over the bag/out of the bowl. Clearly, there's a managerial and/or staffing issue here. Every Chiptole features the same menu, same food options, and same interior 'vibe'. Yet, this place consistently has miserable staff and the food is always lacking in quantity. Drive the extra few minutes to another location. read more
