Long story short, this is my favorite Mexican spot in the area. Every time I leave for college across the state, I wish I could just bring this restaurant with me. Their Birria Pizza is to die for. Mouthwatering. Life-changing. So flavorful. Could cry thinking about it. If I had to pick a last meal, this would probably be it. As I am typing this review, I am actually contemplating going to order their pizza for dinner tonight. They are generous with the meat and it is perfectly seasoned. I am truly their #1 fan, I go back at least once during my holiday breaks. Trust my word and just try the pizza for yourself. Bad service. Ordered the 15 Birria box there is no such thing. They try to give me 7 than had to show them what I paid for than gave me another 7 which equals to 14 but it supposed to be 15. Service has ALWAYS been horrible at this place, the girl behind the counter is disrespectful and ignorant. I will never give this location my money again, stick to the one in spring city for actual good service, no infuriating wait time, and they won't mess up your food like the Pheonixville location does every other time I order from there. The food is good, the franks fish taco is the best thing on the menu. The governors tacos are the second best. Quesaburia is third. They should however use real cheese on the Nachos and this location is addicted to having the TV on super loud all day (MUTE IT PLEASE AND I WILL COME MORE OFTEN), often also blended with music (music is fine). So it's hard to actually eat in here because of the needless noise. read more

I really enjoy their carnitas, that is my usual order when I try a Mexican restaurant and this place has some of the best in the area. Good authentic Mexican STREET tacos (this is such an important distinction). I am a picky eater when it comes to Mexican and three brothers delivered. Not only do they have great street taco size corn tortillas but they double up on them for tacos (I love places that do this). And they kind of toast them or something so they taste extra good. Orders come with free authentic tortilla chips too - good chips not the thin junkie kind you get at most places around Pennsylvania/the east coast. Real fried chips that are thick. Such a treat. I was pleased that the Al pastor tacos were part of taco Tuesday $1 tacos. And even had the grilled pineapple. I can't eat an Al pastor without pineapple. Food was great. Al pastor, chicken, carnitas, and carne asada (not part of taco Tuesday deal) we're all phenomenal! And let's address the $1 taco deal; these tacos are filled with meat and double wrapped. And only a dollar - in 2022.... Very rare find. I appreciate the business' willingness to offer such a good deal even in this economic environment. We will be back again and again. This place is very clean and the tacos are good but seriously don't use Grub Hub to order. I've had two issues now with them. Tonight my order was early but the crispy tacos were ice cold and soggy. So I paid all of these fees shown below for three cold tacos that I threw away and one room temperature burrito. Phoenixville is too crowded on the weekends and parking is a mess. Grub Hub said they wouldn't refund me, then I called again and they did refund me. The fees equal $7.98 and the burrito was $6.00 and the only edible item. Just don't use Grub Hub! I'm not sure what to think of this place, prices on the big wall menu are not correct apparently as everything rang up substantially higher, I see older reviews complaining of the same thing, fix the menu prices already this is no way to run a restaurant. Fantastic addition to the Phoenixville area. They have a fried fish in tomato sauce, covered in peppers and onions that is absolute perfection. Today was my first time trying the cheesy baked potato and it was equally stellar. The food is quick, fresh and tasty and the everyone who works there is super nice. This is my favorite place to get tacos!!! I have been getting tacos here since 2019 and never was disappointed. My food was always warm and super delicious. The tacos are very authentic and explode with flavor every bite. I have had bad experiences multiple times at my local three brothers in Harleysville so I will drive out to Phinoxville to get the best authentic service and tacos. I've tried other foods here and have been really impressed as well but their tacos are to die for! read more

Been coming here for years and a couple times a month. Thanks yelp for ditching my previous review btw, which was 5 starz. The food has always been decent but the takeout is always missing something, like a part of the order for example. I ignored this the first many times but now its become frustrating that they always seem to miss something. Tonight it was tortillas for the fajita and some sauce. It's got to the point where i have to review what's in the bag before leaving the store. If your listening 3 Bros you need to do better with the takeout. Yes I could die in a bed of their rice and beans -- shamelessly. I loved everything. Got two beef tacos (ground beef) with rice and beans, an extra side of rice and beans and a side of flour tortillas. Cost me $17. So delicious. I wish they weren't 2.5 hours away. My wife and I, along with two other couples ate at the Phoenixville location last night. Food: I had the Quesabirrias which on the menu were listed as $3.25 each. I ordered three expecting to pay $9.75. They were tasty enough that I ordered another three. Service: Our waitress was terrible. It was evident that they were short staffed but that's not an excuse for giving attitude to your customers. Further the three Quesabirrias tacos I expected to be $9.75 based on the printed price on the menu were $11.50 when the check arrived. When I asked our waitress why the check was different than the price on the menu she said you ordered three. I said yea but 3 times $3.25 is $9.75. She just kept saying we charge $11.50 for three tacos. Makes no sense at all. Then another lady came over and said 3 Quesabirrias is our combo special. Oh...what comes with the combo because I just had three tacos on a plate with some dipping sauce. Her reply...wait for it...nothing else. My question to her was then why are you calling it a 'combo' if nothing else is coming with the tacos? My wife ordered a grilled vegetable salad bowl that arrived without a single grilled vegetable. Just lots of lettuce on top of some rice and black beans. Ambiance: We sat outside on the porch area. There were 6 of us in the group and where I sat I had a plant on my neck the entire time. Overall I thought the food was OK, but the service was horrible. It was bad enough that I'm taking time to write this review. But it wasn't just me. The other 5 folks in our party felt the same way. Three Brothers has great food, it's really good, and it's decently priced. They're green wet burrito with Carnitas is one of my favorite Mexican dishes that I've ever had. We started ordering from here about once a week for the last 2+ months, and while the food has always been delicious, we have yet to have one order of 8+ orders that has been 100% correct. There has always been something wrong or something missing. It's frustrating, so unfortunately I will be looking to other Mexican restaurants for future meals. read more

I have not tried too many things off of the menu here because I tried the Frank Fish Tacos once and now I'm hooked. They are delicious. The food is fresh and very flavorful. The tacos are stuffed!!! Grab yourself a Pina Refresher or a Jamaican Hibiscus juice to wash it down and a churro for dessert and you'll be one happy camper. I stop here whenever I am in the area. I used to love this place but like anything else when you start opening up additional restaurants quality ends up suffering as well as attention to details or worse you take your loyal customers for granted and under deliver ! Went with my son and did not want beans or guacamole asked for extra sour cream and was charged $1.75 for what was literally a teaspoon of sour cream in a tiny little white paper cup the hospitals use to put your pills in. The prices were ridiculous and the portions were minuscule . When you spend $52.00 for Mexican you better leave the restaurant in a wheel barrel not needing to be fed til the next day! The portions were so ridiculous small and the prices so high we finished our meals and went to Wawa and each got a shorty! Will not be back ever again sadly !!! read more

I will have to be honest here I remember when the first Three Brothers opened in 2016 in Pottstown, when they started they were the hit of the town, food was great very consistent but they just couldn't get the orders right and as the years past they opened 4 new Taquerias and even though I gave them advice on what needed to be done to be the best around I watched as each restaurant opened and how the food was prepared I saw a inconsistency, orders were still being made wrong, food was burnt and each location began to fall in numbers and the only way customers returned was for their $1.00 tacos. Out of the four restaurants if I do eat this food I drive with my wife to the Collegeville location where the youngest of the three brothers cooks the original Pottstown food with flavor and consistency. I have ordered food in the past where my food was over cooked and burnt at times, I would keep telling the owner about my food and he never offered to make it over or exchange it and because I had come to know him from day one he just figured I would just eat it. Since then my wife and I have found a great place they just opened and they serve real authentic mexican food the cooks are the real deal they are from Mexico not from another country pretending to cook Authentic Mexican food. So i hope someday things will change for this place and go back to when they once started and cook for the love of cooking for the people and not just how many shops they can open and for the money. read more

Updating my past review just to encourage folks to support Three Brothers during the pandemic. Ordered takeout on Thursday night and while I was calling I happened to check their Facebook page and saw they were closing in ten minutes (!) When they answered I asked if they were willing to take my order and thankfully they did. When I picked it up there were several other people waiting for orders, too. The tacos and tostada I ordered were fantastic as usual AND I received a complimentary order of churros! That made my week, maybe my month. lol I was glad to see the community patronizing them because the owners are incredibly hospitable. Just a reminder: be sure to let the staff know when placing your order if you want any of the complimentary hot sauces, salsa, jalapenos, etc that under normal circumstances you can grab for yourself inside. read more

This place was incredible. They have such fresh and authentic Mexican food, and the staff was so kind and accommodating. My friends ordered plantains, tacos, burritos, nachos, and quesadillas, and they all raved about it. I however ordered the very inauthentic Meaty Fries. However, they were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely get them again. There was plenty of cheese, sour cream, and salsa to compliment the salty fries and crispy pork.
