Once you order, they give you a buzzer and then bring your food to the table. They have a beverage and utensils station. There is plenty of seating. I love the casual theme. Speaking of my order, I had The Threesome. It comes with green chile queso (has a little spice), guacamole, and your choice of salsa. All of them were really flavorful. The cips that comes with it was really fresh and tasty. I also had the Trailer Park. It is loaded with flavorful fried chicken, green chiles, lettuce, pico de gallo, mixed cheese with poblano sauce on a flour tortilla...so so good! the cashier recommended it to me because it was my first time there. Tacos, soup, salads, quesadillas, huaraches, with tamales on Friday and Saturday and more. Manuel and the staff at both locations could not be more attentive and accommodating. They will prepare your food however you wish. Lived in San Antonio for 8 years. Maciel's reminds me of some of my favorite places there. If you have not been to Maciel's, do yourself a favor and check it out. Also do a great job with delivery/takeout orders.
